Aspirin is also non-organic. Furthermore, aspirin can be taken all at once relatively quickly. Marijuana, if smoked, takes plenty of time to smoke. I have been to parties where people smoked ounces of marijuana -- they did not die... They got silly, slowed down a bit, and paranoid perhaps -- but they would have passed out completely before they ever could have died from it.

I wouldn't go that far. Hell -- there is a lethal dose of water... If you drank a ton of the stuff, you'd lose the salt equilibrium in your body for example.

But I do believe that you would have to smoke many ounces of marijuana before it would even come close to killing you -- and you'd surely pass out before that happened, or you'd get one hell of a headache.

Umm... 100% pure marijuana is what most people smoke who smoke it. They don't mix anything in with it. It's not like they take some grass from the lawn and mix it in. It's 100% marijuana.

Marijuana does have varying degrees of potency -- some have higher levels of THC than others. But it's all 100% marijuana.

To clarify: There is no such thing as pure marijuana! What the hell are you guys talking about. I used to grow, and depending on techniques you can raise or lower the THC content, but you will NEVER achieve 100%. It doesn't work like that. Even medical grade that is grown with government $$$ doesn't get that high. As a matter of fact, it usually contains less THC than what is on the street. By the way, all th stuff on the "street" is still grown, its not synthetic so technically any weed grown is 100% pure marijuana. The THC level also depends on the strain used. Indica or Sativa and then all the subs and mixes. I could go into heavy details about how it works, but Dr Greenthumb has better things to do than teach amateurs about the wonders of weed.

When it comes to % it is talked about potency of the plant not that you smoke a cig 100$filled with pot.

Now the normal weed has about 6$ potency, which means that 6% of the plant is THC.

The strongest skunk or hashish come to about 40%.

And then you have also hashish oil, which can come up to 70% potency.


Now just think about how it would be possible to consume 40 kg of weed in one shot????

There is such a thing as getting CLOSE to 100% THC, but it is in OIL form, not in a "pack" of "marijuana cigarettes" (I'd like to know where you get packs of joints?). Honey oil is what we call it in Canada, but it may be called Bubble Hash, Hash oil, Cherry Oil, or who knows what.
