Metaphysical symbolism - Feral dove tried to land on my head - are birds portents of 'good news' ???
Got called out the back door by the housemate, 2 dove's were walking right up to the back door.

He moved further away, so did the dove's. After that, they came straight up to me within 1 & half feet away, then, one of them tries to land on my head.

I duck, it lands on the pergola ledge a few feet in front of me, then it just stare's at jonk...

A mate reckons 'metaphorically' they are senders/precursers of good news/news ?

This is a 'drug free' post ! Mentally stable blah blah
Don't ask me about the length, what about the width.

The dove is attracted to your hair to use for a nest. They intensely gather twigs, hair, and other nesting materials as they build their nest.

OK, I've explained it. Now don't go all anointed on us, OP!

Thanks for the replys, they made me laugh lol.

OK, first it was the 2 Dove's then, the next day it was a :

2 colored tennis ball, each color was either side of the 'ying yang' seam, that lands exactly 15 feet in front of me after it bounced off the shed roof ! I was looking out at the direction it came in from as I sat outside, saw the whole thing appear, come down & land. Thing is this, I never heard a bat hit the ball, nor were there any kids around to throw it as I can from my yard see who is in the neighbours back yards. The ball just appeared.

A few days later:

A rainbow lorikeet, [link to home.iprimus.com.au]

slammed into the upstairs window, rolled down the pergola roof, where it sat for about 2 hours before regaining consciousness. It badly injured a wing, so I looked after it in a large but dis-used bird cage. I don't like cageing birds, the cage was being used for storage.

After 5 days, it died. This morning.

Looked on the dream interpretation sites for meaning/symbolism. I've had bees enter my house, when someone has passed on that I know, plus other 'signs'. So I'm used to messages.

What started all this, I emailed a woman who I've had a fairly heavy crush on, it was the day after sending it, that these 'weird' events started to happen. Yesterday I found out she had a baby to another bloke, it ended up on Google news page btw (long story). So was quite devastated.

Just can't put my finger on what the 3 'portents' above are about. They weren't dreams, they actually happened right in front of me whilst under the pergola.
Don't ask me about the length, what about the width.

The dove is a symbol of peace and the Holy Mother. It is also symbolic of the Holy Spirit. 2 doves represent love and harmony. The duck tells you to not allow yourself to be a sitting duck.

I had pretty much the same thing happen to me with pigeons recently, as well as one "carrier" pigeon, whom I later identified via his leg band from the internet. Soon after my fiance' left this Earth, I began to have, literally, "flocks" of pigeons around my house and lawn. Keep in mind, in the part of country where I reside, they are not known to keep company here. To this day, I still believe that he was sending me a "message" from a higher plane...far beyond this Earth.

Check out the animal totems sites. This is a good one. The dove is on this page.

Yes, I believe he was sending you a message, too. What a lovely message! I'm so sorry for your loss!

A/C 204901,

Thank you so very much for your repsponse. But, your message seemed so "timely fashioned," I must ask, can you disclose your identity? If not, I understand, for you see, I already know that you are a Messenger from God.

Peace and Love to You...
