We can alter our *perception* of reality, but I think we're a long way from being able to alter reality itself. It's not impossible of course, it's just harder than most among the "we create our own reality" crowd will admit to.

I agree with much of what you say, but I wonder if you've fallen into the "New Age" trap? Not a presumption, just a question.

As for fear vs love... two sides of the same coin in my opinion. As far as I'm concerned, you can't love something if you're not capable of hating that which would destroy it.

If you love everything, you love everything *and* nothing.

But yeah, semantics...
