I always thought of the Klintoons as being replicas of King Ahab and his Queen, Jezebel. However, unlike King ahab, Bill wasn't killed in battle, and his "Jezebel" didn't fall from a window. At least it hasn't happened yet. In case no one has read Deuteronomy, there are blessings and curses that go with obedience/disobedience in living by the Ten Commandments. It was a contract between God and his people. You know what happens when one party breaks the contract. Funny how the preachers NEVER teach that. |

The slaves of Babylon will bring her down with the tools of Babylon. Read Obadiah, just 10 verses. It doesn't look pretty. Then read psalms, when the CREDITORS of the debt come and take the cattle & children from the unwalled cities. |

But, sometimes man needs a little Divine prodding to stimulate his attention. ----------------------------------------------------------- First Stage Red Horse Revelation 6:4 The rider of the second horse is generally held to represent War. The red colour of his horse represents blood spilled on the battlefield. He carries a great sword, which represents battle and fighting. The Red Horse is also said to represent the Planet Mars. According to astrological beliefs, Mars has quite an ill effect on the Earth when its position is behind us to the Sun, especially when the Moon, The Pale Horse, is between Mars and the Earth. The red planet also represents the God of War in many pre-Christian religions, specifically the Mars of Roman mythology and the Ares of Greek mythology. -------------------------------------------------------------- Second Stage Black Horse Revelation 6:5 The third horseman, riding the black horse, is popularly called Famine or Persecution. The black colour of the third horse could be a symbol of famine. Its rider holds a scale, which could be a representation of the 'scales of pitiless justice' which commonly represent inequality and corruption. The "a measure of wheat for a penny" from the King James Version might not sound like a famine to modern ears, but in the Worldwide English Version we read "four cups of wheat for bread will sell for a day's wages". -------------------------------------------------------------- Third Stage Pale/ashen Horse Revelation 6:8 The fourth horseman (on the pale, or sickly horse, which may be the source of the notion of "pestilence" as a separate horseman) is explicitly named Death. The Greek word interpreted here as "pale" is elsewhere in the New Testament translated as "green." The horse is sometimes translated as "pale," "pale green," or "green." The pale greenish colour of the fourth horse could mean fear, sickness, decay, and death. |
