As for obnoxious arrogance and stupidity that is a worldwide phenomenon. In my 45 years I have only been to about 11 countries but have found racism (in Singapore the non-Singaporeans are treated like shitty slaves, arrogance (most Parisians but the countypeople were nicer overall/the Germans have this one hands down thoogh, except for maybe the Israelis who continually blame everyone else for their problems and would have the entire world pay in perpetuity). In summation the United States has been taken over by lying fascists intent on a police state and the people are too stupid to question anything. The only way to resolve this is through revolution and bring em all to trail in World Court for crimes against humanity (Depleted Uranium, war crimes, and the financial collapse that is soon to be here). |

Actually, I was born in the States, but raised, and educated, in Canada, which gives me a unique perspective on the American way, and I appreciated it enough to want to live here. I had the choice where I wanted to live, and I chose the U.S. for the opportunities, and because of Hawaii. I lived there for twenty years before I returned to the north country. Hawaii is an international location, with access to visitors from literally everywhere. I do, however, consider myself to be Canadian. Canada is a wonderful country. That's where my roots are. To insult Americans is a sign of Arrogant Ignorance. No one has any reason to insult Americans. Judge the gov't because all you know is what Murdoch feeds you. Yeah, this gov't is not a good one. In fact I believe these are the dark times of the U.S. and this administration will go down in history as the worst, most destructive, most dangerous administrations. Sometimes it is not easy living here, but there are enough of us who do not sit on ever widening butts playing video games to get this country back on track. It won't be easy, and it won't be overnight, but it will happen. Don't call me an ugly American. I am a compassionate, honest, respectful, and respectable American, an educated American, and no one has the right, the reason, or the perspective to judge me. People who judge others in a narrow, uninformed, disrespectful fashion, are guilty of Arrogant Ignorance, which is the current U.S. gov't policy. I don't live in my mothers basement.. so I don't know what your talking about, I live on my own man. Why did you want to be educated here in Canada when its always said that America has the best learning institutions? Maybe you've seen the truth about how most Canadians are smarter than your typical American. We know more about America than America knows about us. What the hell you call that? People in New Orleans think we all live in igloos and have polar bears outside our hut, and take a dogsled to work. Well who doesn't want to live in Hawaii and along with the fact that more than half of the population and original inhabitants are not american. You consider yourself to be Canadian!? Man your quite delusional eh?. Your not Canadian at all and I bet most Canadians would feel the same with what you have said and its I pity you since you actually think your Canadian, yet you don't live here nor was born here, and yippy yay that you spent some time here. You weren't even born here for starters. If you were truly one, you wouldn't want to live in the states unless it was for school or a job or some temporary opportunity and even then thats a stretch. More specifically, if you were a 'true' Canadian, your attitude would be one of an amicable nature not looking to start a fight like the average American. Americans just can't take the criticism cuz the truth hurts. Plus if you were really a true Canadian you would admit that we are better at hockey since we made it, not to mention mostly all the players in the NHL are Canadian if not Russian. It takes a good understanding of what it means to be Canadian, and obviously you don't understand and are delusional. I'm not insulting Americans, I'm just stating a fact that over a million other people around the world feel the same about. If you took it as an insult then you obviously have recognized your guilt but are unable to admit to that level. If you think I'm calling you an Ugly American, I wasn't but since you felt that was being said about you, it obviously shows that you are. Again, I'm not judging you. I have been to the states MANY times and have spent LOTS of time in different states and this is from my own experience. Your audacity to claim total unaccountability is appalling. You are just as responsible as your leaders are. By the mere fact that you are aware of the conditions of your country and continue to live off the extravagances of it due to how comfortable it is, you are just as guilty. When you do something wrong, why don't you just say, THE LEADERS MADE ME DO IT, like it wasn't your fault at all. Please, accept your culpability for once man. For e.g. you know guns kill people and you want all this murder to stop, but you continue to pass laws that allow gun shops and guns to be sold and the excuse is for protection, meanwhile that same law allowed your columbine kids to cause that sad mess??????? Get rid of the guns for starters so people don't kill others for reasons that are so inhumane and stupid. The american mentality has woven itself into such a fine fabric within the American mindset that to rip it out, would cause brain damage that would be irreparable. The first step to healing is to admit that you are imperfect and this is an imperfect world, for you cannot be perfect in an imperfect world unless your GOD. |

You say this as though it were American's faults...the way things are right now. Think back. THEY were brutally attacked on Sept 11th, they lost 3000 citizens in one fell swoop. Their leaders have run them into the ground. Remember at the start of this war on terror...declared by Bush...it was the people...the American's who protested in the streets against it. The world rose up to try to stop this war on Iraq. Americans are outraged and do NOT support this war machine government that has us all teetering on the brink of WW3. Stop blaming and hating American's. They are good people. Blame their leaders, for it is the fault of their leaders that is the reason they are in this mess....because their leaders didn't listen to them, and invaded Iraq anyway....just as Bush is paving the way now for an invasion of Iran... Again, it's out of the hands of the American citizen. Their governments have been highjacked by a war machine. |

I have roots in Canada, many realities living there, many buried there. I grew up in a border town, where, in the era when I was born, the closest hospital was seven miles away in Vermont, as opposed to an hour away to the closest Canadian hospital. All the people in my home town during this time were born in the states. The border didn't mean much back then. I used to have a paper route, "The Montreal Gazette" and I had customers on both sides of the border. There is a street in my hometown called Canusa Street, Because the center line was, and still is, the border. To drive out of this town one actually drove in the states for a little less than a mile. I was born in Vermont because it was the closest hospital, and I was educated in Canada because that is where I lived, as my parents did, as their parents did, as their parents did. This is why I consider myself to be a Canadian. I took advantage of my citizenship and moved to Hawaii. Why? Because it is Hawaii. As for the education system, there were four kids in my family. The oldest three were educated in Quebec. The youngest was educated in the Vermont, because my parents moved out of Quebec basically due to the language issue, which is why I never moved back to Quebec. I have never seen my youngest brother read an entire book. That's what I have to say about education. I was fortunate enough to have received an education. In this area the focus of education has become teacher's benefits. They don't even correct spelling. I was managing a grocery store a few years ago, and a teacher from the local high school came in looking for freebies to send to his son's outfit in Afghanistan, not long after 911. What he told me was that his son was on a ship "Off the coast of Afghanistan" It struck me, because there is no Coast of Afghanistan. I figured there were tho possibilities here. One, he was a teacher, but was totally ignorant of where Afghanistan is, or, he assumed that I went to school where he taught, and therefore, I didn't know anything. I even root for Canada at the Olympics. I happen to be a Canadian who lives in the States. |

Quoting: Shewolfe911 I found very disturbing indeed, not to mention it was not only American lives that were taken that day and it wasn't only American lives that are important, however to not recognize it was the US government who created the plot of it happening would be a sign of brainwashing. They needed a way for the American people to want to go to War, as from what I remember this is somewhat a Sun Tzu derived art of war technique because as we all know when there is War, much of it is for mans pride and the obvious is there is money to be made by many of the big boys and girls, and who controls the oil, controls the world and who needs free energy when we keep on buying out the inventors or killing them and sitting on the technology, and by doing that once we have we have flipped the sale of oil till its dry as sand, we will be so wealthy that we will now use our free energy for our own use and mass amounts of funds to help stay in power and get rid of the rest of the people in the world, INSERT ANY NUMBER OF WAYS TO GET RID OF A POPULATION WHEN THIS OCCURS HERE since the rest of the world has NOTHING! Hence a nice population decrease for meglomaniac people in power stricken with God Complexes. It was Bush who started this whole Anti-Terrorism as a front to hide his true agenda. They're the terrorists! Your government has so much cover-up on so many levels its mindblowing how intricate it all is just to keep it quiet as much as they can. Plain and simple Bush fooled most of you guys. Americans are outraged and do NOT support this war machine government that has us all teetering on the brink of WW3. Quoting: ShewolfeStop blaming and hating American's. They are good people. Blame their leaders, for it is the fault of their leaders that is the reason they are in this mess....because their leaders didn't listen to them, and invaded Iraq anyway....just as Bush is paving the way now for an invasion of Iran... Like I said I don't hate Americans, I hate Americans attitudes that are over inflated to make them feel they are better than the rest of the world in some way or another just because they are AMERICAN. Maybe if most of you Americans weren't so arrogant, you would be able to travel all around the world and be welcomed with warm sentiments and great service when you said you were American. Americans can be good people yes, but you have MUCH more BAD people than you realize or fail to admit. You should read earlier on, I don't say I HATE Americans or that I hate ALL Americans. Again, it's out of the hands of the American citizen. Their governments have been highjacked by a war machine. Quoting: ShewolfeIMHO I believe otherwise. If all the people who are against what is going on in America by TPTB used their remaining Constitional rights to fight for the freedoms that have been taken away by the Bush Administration and since it was written, and are not siding with those who run the world, and really want it so bad that you are willing to die for it, you could very well make a difference. If ALL the U.S. Citizens took a stand and rose up against the 'machine' YOU COULD IN REALITY CHANGE THE FATE OF YOUR COUNTRY. A revolution is totally possible, but EVERY single freedom loving, Constitution loving U.S. Citizen must all stand together as one force in order to achieve such a dramatic conclusion to the fate of your nation. We will see as time goes on what happens... |
