Why the fuck would he start shooting in a department store. He could have taken out 100 people waiting to see santa clause or even better a couple hundred fat asses eating in the food court. Nothing, absolutely nothing about this story makes any sense at all

Yes, the cameras could have been feeding separate multiplexers or DVR's with the clocks set differently.
Uh...Every place that I have seen that is more than 10 years old is still using VHS decks and they are 'supposed' to keep tapes for 30-60 days for insurance purposes...Christ...I worked on a setup last month in a 5 year old JiffyMart that had 7 cams, all on a seperate VHS deck and no 2 had the same time and a couple had 2004 dates... Look at the three pics. First pic shows him with gun raised and no time. Second pic shows him entering mall at 13:42:33, third pic shows him in mall moments before shooting started time 13:36:27. How does he enter mall after he is already in there? Why does the first pic not have a time on it? All surveillance videos have a time.
NO ONE ELSE HAS ANYTHING TO SAY ABOUT THIS?
Newsts article says he came in, left and returned six minutes later, are they monitoring this thread? And if that happened, where's the video stills of the first entrance?

OMAHA, Dec. 6 —A video surveillance camera at the Westroads Mall here showed that Robert Hawkins entered the main entrance of the Von Maur department store Wednesday afternoon, looked around briefly and then left, before entering the store again six minutes later, carrying what was later learned to be a rifle.
“He appeared to be concealing something balled up in a hooded sweatshirt,” Police Chief Thomas Warren said at a televised news conference here today.
Anyone see him carrying a "balled up sweatshirt" in those stills? |
