I overdosed on ibuprofen yesterday...ask me a question

What is it like having a single digit IQ?

Did you at least get rid of the headache?

ok calm down..i didnt try to off myself...i had a headache and i went to ask my mom for some headache pills...i took two and later we found out that the pills were mixed with ibuprofen...so i mistakingly took two 800 mg tablets...i was throwing up like crazy and was weak...maybe i shouldve went to the hospital but i didnt..im better now..i thought i had caught the flu or something at first

idk...all i know is i thought they were tylenol and popped em right into my mouth...next thing i know, a hlaf hour later im on the bathroom floor...throwing up...i literally felt like i couldnt stand for awhile...DONT OVERDOSE ON IBUPROFEN!!!

1600mg isn't an overdose.
You might have had an allergic reaction. Please see doctor.

How the fuck can you OD on 2 800mg pills? Unless you are under 3 years old, I doubt it highly

umm most people are only prescribed to take ONE pill of 400 or 600 mg and thats for pain such as after surgery...I took TWO 800mg pills...look it up :)

well he's not the only dumb ass, basically its 12 here and i woke up in the middle of the night with sweets and a headache.. i was like well i can deal with both of them ( turned on fan and pulled covers off ) ... then was like i need to take some asprine for this... went in the bathroom and found IB proffen ..and unlike the 70 % majority of American children that are already pill popers and can respite half of the 'best painkillers' out there, i dont know JACK SHIT about pills... all i know is headache take two... i did then i was like humm.. let me read the bottle cuz those ib proffen didn't look normal... it was a bottel of 800 mg... so basicly i was like OH SHIT... it says take one, 2 times a day.
now im a pretty average build guy i weight about 160-180 pounds, 19 years old... and like always i ran to google with my problem and found this... well idk if the last person to post is bsing or is tru.... but im gona figure this out the hard way... its been about 15 mins...and i ate 2 hotpockets ( the bottle says eat with food ) ... so ill repost in about a hour and tell you if im vomiting or w/e else.. ya know being cracked out on the floor twictching screaming "GIVE ME MY NEEDLE I NEED CRACK." lol .. i feel ok as of now.. my stomic just feels full.. i think the food is helping.

oks i hit the hour and a half hour mark... i feel ok.. i think the food i ate and the water ive been drinking helped... my stomic did feel qeasy for omost a hour..but its starting to calm back down.. so i think the worst is over.. lol and to think i was kinda worried... well w/e for every ones knolage if our a average weight person .. your body can handel 1600 mg of ibproffen... and for all the smartasses out there YES my headace did go away... so HA... lol well thank you for your odd fourm... i would have to say i would never be at a side like this for any other reason... i spread my knolage...

What is wrong with you people? I take ibuprofen for intense toothaches...especially when I have two going strong. Pain is not my cup of tea, but 1600Mg didn't do the job. Over 2000mg took the toothpain away.

Ibuprofen 200mg is nothing, 400mg is nothing...600mg can take care of an ached or constant or re-occuring pain. Over 800mg ...start eating food... Ibuprofen is not a smart pill to take on an empty stomach.

I take 600Mg at 7-8am for Gerd with my ultram 50mg..and at 2:00pm I take another 800mg of Ibuprofen with ultram 50mg. 1400mg a day never done me no harm. 1400mb within 6-7 hours - no harm.

But if you start feeling numb in the face....you've overdosed on Ibuprofen. I am no doctor, but I am over 200Lbs, 6ft 1". And am careful what I ingest. Ibuprofen is not that dangerous of a drug - it's over the counter, and like a jet...you can take more than you think without being worried about ODing. Just don't be stupid.

Ibuprofen burns holes in your guts if you take it regularly over a long period like I did.

I don't rule out the possibility that it was ibuprofen that started the cycle of damage to my guts that made it impossible for me to eat wheat or grains ever again.

umm are the 800 mg tabs time release...unless prescribed. I mean you cannot buy that large of mg with out it being time release ....i could be wrong.

did u eat when u took those pills? because i heard u had to eat something before you take them? and youre completely okay? nos tomach problems? i took one 800mg tablet like 2 nights ago and everysince yesterday i feel sharp pains in my stomach. no vomiting though and got constipation, i wasnt trying to kill myself i just wanted to stop the pain in my ankle cuz i twisted it awhile ago.

Must be better choice than ibuprofen for a toothache, considering there anti inflamms.
I take a much stronger version diclofenic for Arthritis, they are nasty on stomachs.

What can 4 ibuprofen, 1 midal,and 1 random diagnosed pill to someone els doo.. nothing rightt? this isn't a suicide attempt. actually it isn't even myself that wants to knoww any answerss???
