Look the children that want to call people names need to just shut up. This is a serious question for serious people. I am in the middle of trying to explain what I am seeing. I have never listened to a word that Nancy has ever spoken but I am not stupid.
Look at the video and you must take time to at least listen to what Nancy is saying. Unless it's a hoax of grand scale or its Mercury nothing else explains an object that large and that close to the Sun.
This is serious!
It looks large ONLY because it is closer to the Sat than the Sun. Relative position and we have no objects to use for comparison.
That 5/5/2007 passage of Mercury Stu posted has the object approximately the same size as Mercury in our view, BUT, Mercury is close to the Sun in its orbit, and this object, a Moon, is very much closer to the LASCO satellite I suspect.
Quoting: Nancy Lieder
has some one worked out the size in relation to the sun....i wondering if it's mass/size is about the same as the projected size of the protostar PX orbiting...just wondering mind u...and the approx track in relation to the solar plane

"A sunspot located just out of sight over the sun's eastern limb has unleashed two strong C-class solar flares in the past 24 hours. The sun's rotation should bring this active region into view later today or tomorrow allowing us to evaluate its potential for more explosions. If you have a solar telescope, monitor the limb."

Just wanted to check the last sunspot activity on www.spaceweather.com , but this interesting video (NASA) catched my attention. The last sunspot explosion (C-Class flare) actually unveals something that does not make sense to me - please take a look ! While sunspot sends the flare into the space, a very clear object is reflected. It looks obvious the object rotates. The object cannot be very far from the sun as the flare can somehow cover it . If the object is close to the sun surface (maybe few mil. miles) then .. we talk about an object of a huge size. However, i could be wrong- what do you think?
[link to stereo.gsfc.nasa.gov]
check out the video of the 31st. second from top of the bottom link group. the object looks like a delta when the flare blasts it. like the star trek logo one.
look at it repeatedly from the start of the clip. you´ll notice it.

The reality of the object in November-December 2006
Nov 9 2006, 0426 [link to soho.nascom.nasa.gov]
horizontal bleed line of inverted color is to the right of the sun.
Nov 9 2006, 1218 [link to soho.nascom.nasa.gov]
dark line is to the left of the sun, demonstrating a sudden and long distance movement.
Nov 30th 2006 [link to soho.nascom.nasa.gov]
the debris cloud of the anomaly (quantum anomaly as big as Saturn) is being hit by a cme.
Dec 4th 2006 [link to soho.nascom.nasa.gov]
the anomaly and it's debris cloud in inverted color (because too bright) are visible just before SOHO was turned on 4-6 Dec.
Dec 6th 2006 [link to soho.nascom.nasa.gov]
the remant of a second large solar flare - two in two days - is on the first picture back.
Explanations as to why the image would be dark (color inverted) and that the ccd detector is not damaged (Kevin Schenk of Goddard Space Flight Center, MD) are on pages 6 & 7 of 'Here IT Comes !'. Antartic Astronomer's post explaining that it is a like a quantum anomaly and that it jumps "Bode Harmonics", the distance between planets, is on page 10
So the 2006 observations were real, and not part of a solar flare, or a "plume from the sun", as Nancy so blithly remarks.
The reality of the object on December 31st 2007.
- the movie,
- the C2 picture from page 1 of this thread
Plus if you look at solar soft, you will see that on Dec 30-31st, just past, the X-rays from the sun suddenly increased from having been quiet for awhile. The last time they were high was from Dec 4-20th. They were quiet from the 20th-30th - almost the 31st, and now they're starting up again.
So this increase in solar X-ray output is either emitted by the object by the sun, or from the sun itself on the object's influence, causing the sun to emit more X-ray light - high frequency light.
A year ago the pixel color was inverted (white to dark) due to too much light being received by the ccd sensors. And this year in some similar fashion, the object, whatever it is, is again causing an increase, or increases, in X-ray light, which X-ray light is also high energy light.
Therefore both the observation this year and the observations a year ago are real, and not just "a plume from the sun", as Nancy brushed it aside.

Fucking HELLL!!! The explosion is huge, the object is huge and that object is moving at a hudge speed AND ITS NOT ORBITING THE SUN!!! How can something that close to the sun NOT BE IN ORBIT and pulled into the sun?? Its Alien FFS

Re: Breaking *** NASA ** Sunspot C-class explosion , shows a strange object orbiting the Sun
are the C2 and C3 the exact same moment of the same thing at different scope lengths?
C3 is just a wider angle of same event?
If object is in C2 it would show smaller in C3 correct?

They are slightly different minutes within the hour. And I suspect they do MORE than take a different scope view. Why is one blue and the other red? Sensitive to different light spectrums? C3 has size times the scope of view.

Wish everyone would stay on topic. This is a very interesting subject.
My first impression when I saw the object was a very huge astroid. I don't know enough about astronomics to have a good opinion of the things happening. But it's very interesting all that's happening.
have you taken time to look at info? the flag doesn't explain what is being seen!

Re: Breaking *** NASA ** Sunspot C-class explosion , shows a strange object orbiting the Sun
It is a dark smudge in the center of a v shaped reverse wake at the 7:00 line.
correction #2--
This standard C2 of the same relative time frame shows it is too much of a close up shot which means that the objects are actually further out from the Sun and Actual Sizing may be needing to be recalculated.
