I am posting this on a sun thread, however it may have some relevance and it has been bothering me quite a lot.

Of course people are noticing this and the media has passed it off as a mild autumn/winter. However although there is some temperature effect flowering is controlled by day-length.
Also it has not been a mild autumn/winter, temperatures have been average in the UK with some cold snaps.
Biological organisms are used in science measurements because of the accuracy which can be obtained.
I throw this out to all of you to see what you make of it as far as I can acertain the sun is setting at my location at the correct time.
