From the point of view of STEREO A, which is "Ahead" of Earth by about 21 degrees, the anomaly appears to be Mercury.

Stop this one at 11  20 and look real close. I can distinctly see a planet shaped object. About two thirds of it are in sunlight and the bottom third is in darkness and you can see a coronal type glow around the dark side of the object. My first inclination is that it is one of the planets.
The thing is definitely moving from right to left in the frame and is not stationary. If it was on the path of it's orbit and moving either nearly directly towards or away from the point of viewing, it would appear to be almost stationary.
Question: how many miles are we looking at from the edge of the solar mask to the edge of the field of view?
I posted earlier. It's Mercury. It's C3 transit for SOHO is done but the solar obeservatory Stereo, while it shares Earth's orbit around the sun, it is about 22 degrees in front and behind (2 craft). It has a different viewing angle and distance than SOHO.
Mercury is about 20 degrees to the left of the Sun on Dec 31! That is WAY outside of the view of LASCO. Way. Cripes!
As a comparison, look at the Skymap on this page

when Planet X itself was captured on Dec 23 on the C2. The C2 shows Mercury, which according to Skymap for that date is only about 5 degrees to the left of the Sun. At 10 degress is would be OFF VIEW.
The C2 for this Dec 31-Jan 1 DOES NOT SHOW MERCURY AT ALL.

Bring on some solid logic, it would be nice. Lense flare or blimp doesn't work.
I have looked at 5 to 6 diffenent views of something that I still do not understand. Nancy or the tooth fairy has nothing to do with it.
The OP started the thread worried about a class C flare but the object is what got everyone juiced.
You tell me stright up what the object is, its size, and what it is doing there! Thats all and everything else is just hot air!

Just using the flare from the Sun as a point of reference and SIZE. These orbs are very close to the Sun, NOT 20 degrees away.

Look at STEREO A from 22DEC.
Look at STEREO B from 29NOV
Look at the orbit diagram for Mercury between NOV and DEC.
Whatever IT is, IT is in the same orbit as Mercury.
Use this diagram tool, and place Earth 21 degrees to the left of vertical (to simulate STEREO A) and then 21 degrees to the right of vertical (to simulate STEREO B). Look at Mercury each time.

I have been following this post since it began and find it interesting that after so many pages we still don't know what this is! There is one thing for sure though that noone appears satisfactorily to have debunked this object. I wish I were an astrophysicist or astronomer with an open mind of course. Is this Nibiru? Is anyone else feeling any unusual symptoms? I have been sleeping peacefully for most of the day and I never sleep well especially in the daytime, we have terrible cold and wind here and all in all things seem unusual for this time of the year.Last year the golfers were out! This year it is subzero and the USGS is very quiet. Something is going on, I can feel it. |
