If it were Mercury it would have the disc around it. Every planet seen in these soho shots all look the same. There is the disc and it appears to spin. Though it be an optical illusion associated with a planets passage, THERE IS NO DISC PRESENT with this object in question.
I, personaly, do not believe it is mercury for that one reason. And its a darn good reason if you all think about it.

If it were Mercury it would have the disc around it. Every planet seen in these soho shots all look the same. There is the disc and it appears to spin. Though it be an optical illusion associated with a planets passage, THERE IS NO DISC PRESENT with this object in question.

Why would it show so large on SOHO but so small on the transit. Plus this object travels around from behind the sun (view the footage from the 26th). So what does Mercury look like on SOHO or LASCO when it is opposite the Sun from us? If in fact it shows as small as that footage of it from google, then there is no way this object is Mercury, nor the one from the 26th.
They are the same object, with a natural orbit when combining both footages. But if it is way too big for Mercury...hmmm
Must see footage of mercury behind the sun from same or similar camera as original flare and object footage. |

I agree with that completely, however this object seems much larger than the video showing Mercury on the CLOSE side of the sun, so why would mercury seem 50x larger when it is farther away from us? |
