infra red heat detection, on calm windless evening, in my humble opinion, decaying hot air thermals that rose up high during the blazzing heat of the day, then the desert floor cools rapidly as the sun goes down, the hot air aloft is also slowly cooling as well but it is hot enough to be detected by night vision. ( former glider pilot) |

That's a good catch there. I saw something just like that here in Wisconsin back in November. It was around 10 pm and I was coming home from work. I could see these lights in the distance. Kinda like spires and northern lights combined. There were 10 to 12 of these spires and I would guess they were 50 to 60 miles away because I started driving toward what I thought was the closest one and I drove 20 miles and didn't get close to it. It almost looked like there were buildings on fire. The spires shot up into the night sky and kinda shimmered. My guess would be some kind of new toy from our friendly government(DARPA). And a little covert experimentation on the masses. Will we ever find out? Probably not. |

They are a FORM of inteligent BEINGS working in the area.
There are many sorts of INTELIGENT BEINGS.. that do NOT take any type of physical form... but they do have a consciousness.
As the next years progress.... slowely ALL will begin to VIEW and SEE BETWEEN WORLDS....
One Day... ALL will know the UNSEEN WORLDS... and begin to understand the connection to the wholeness of ALL THINGS.
This is a GREAT DAY for ALL... as it is the BEGINNING of remarkable things to come in the days to come.

looks like the ice crystals in the atmosphere are bending the brightest lights(venus, mars etc) in the sky into them weird shapes. |

He was saying that the light from Mars was probably refracting through the haze, causing the brightest light pillar. The others were probably stars. Remember, this was taken through a night-vision camera, so they might have been too faint to see with the naked eye. What interests me is that a Chief was there. That's a Navy rank, which means the Chief was a Corpsman or an Individual Augmentee, or they were SEALs.

There was a tornado over Tel Aviv on Thursday which may be related to these things since it's in the general area. These lights may indicate some strange atmospheric turbulance that could result in violent weather such as tornadoes and severe storms. Check it out [link to www.ynetnews.com] |

AC530523 the term "chief" is often used in the army when talking to a warrant officer and in the Air Force senior master sargent the one with 2 stripes over the MSGT chevron is also called chief. Those lights are interesting though. It looks kind of like some kind of atmospheric phenomenon and the comment about a red haze makes me wonder if the Sun was on the horizon helping to make an optical illusion. The clouds look like stratus or cumulo-stratus which form blanket like coverage. It will be interesting to find out what the cause of it is. |

Normally, I might think these were some type of infrared light columns being produced by the military to measure, target or detect something, but I saw columns of light coming out of the little town I live in the other night while driving home. They were just there and didn't come from any particular source. Then the red haze mentioned yet again. I think this was mentioned on the space shuttle with the Israeli on board...before it was vaporized. |

And then there is the interesting picture I remember from the weatherman-turned-alien invasion-theorist's site, which is no longer online. It showed pics from hurricane Rita where there were multiple red laser-like columns of light projecting down out of the hurricane clouds. |
