Experts on the matter say Obama is not the antichrist
CAROL STREAM, Ill., Aug. 8 /Christian Newswire/ — John McCain’s campaign ad “The One” has generated a lot of buzz regarding the “Left Behind Series.” Political commentators are comparing McCain’s portrayal of competitor Barack Obama with the blockbuster apocalyptic series’ depiction of the antichrist. But even the series authors Tim LaHaye and Jerry B. Jenkins don’t think Obama is the antichrist. What may have been created as a farce has generated a firestorm of controversy on the internet.
LaHaye and Jenkins take a literal interpretation of prophecies found in the Book of Revelation. They believe the antichrist will surface on the world stage at some point, but neither see Obama in that role. “I’ve gotten a lot of questions the last few weeks asking if Obama is the antichrist,” says novelist Jenkins. “I tell everyone that I don’t think the antichrist will come out of politics, especially American politics.”
“I can see by the language he uses why people think he could be the antichrist,” adds LaHaye, “but from my reading of scripture, he doesn’t meet the criteria. There is no indication in the Bible that the antichrist will be an American.”
Jenkins and LaHaye don’t take McCain’s commercial or the antichrist speculation over Obama too seriously.
Pundits have pointed out that there are similarities between the “Left Behind Series” character Nicolae Carpathia and Obama. Other than some vocabulary and charisma, Carpathia, a young Romanian politician who eventually oversees a one-world government, and Obama don’t have much in common. “If even the people who created the character Nicolae Carpathia don’t see the comparisons as warranted, then perhaps this is overblown,” says Jenkins.
“Left Behind” is a series of 16 apocalyptic novels (1995-2007/Tyndale House Publishers) using end time prophecies in Revelation as a framework. All sixteen books reached the “New York Times” bestseller list with seven reaching the #1 spot. Overall more than 63 million copies have sold in the “Left Behind” product line. Ok to all you none believers of the Bible. Let's say Obama isn't the Antichrist, because truth of the matter is, we really don't know. My questions to anyone who doesn't believe Obama is the antichrist is: Would any of you know him if you saw him? And is it impossible that he could be a black man?
Where the hell does it say in the bible that the antichrist is a white man. If the story of the antichrist is true I highly doubt the antichrist is going to go on national tv and tell everyone that he is the one and is going to kill us all.
All I'm trying to say to you skeptics out there is be careful of anyone coming out of nowhere and promising the world. Truth be told, I never trusted this Obama not one bit. I will be sitting out this election because I dislike both candidates we have been given. I'm a real conservative and McCain has done nothing but betray us with his bullshit just as Bush has done.
To all of you old time liberals out there who love Obama or Hilary so much and have voted Democrate all of your lives think back to the time of John F. Kennedy. Look up his voting record and you will see that guy if alive today would be more conservative than anyone in the Republican party of today. So, all of you old timers who loved and voted for him take a good look at your candidate as well as you party and tell me if these are the same people of yesterday.
And if your think that I'm a Republican think again. I'm a conservative independant. I will have nothing to do with the Republican party today because they are liberals and the Democrates are socialist or communist take your pick. And if you dummies don't believe me look up what communism and socialism is and their beliefs and see the similarities for yourselves.

The problem with commonsense is that in this day and age it isn't all that common. I good piece of advice to all you young people out there is: On what ever topic or issue the masses come together for, always take a very close look at the opposing view before going along with the rest. This who fasination with Barak Obama the media has pushed on us all is troubling to say the least. They have made him like the second coming of Christ and that isn't good. Is he the antichrist? I wouldn't bet on it. Is he not the antichrist? I wouldn't bet on that either. To all you Obama followers be careful of this man. This man gained power quicker than any other politican has ever done. He has gained popularity and power through an empty word called change. This man has surrounded himself with some of the most anti-American individuals in the past. The problem with the lack of a political track record the man has is that this mans past is all we really have to go by.
I have to admit there are similarities with this man and the stories of the antichrist in the bible. Remember the late president John Kennedy as I spoke of in my previous comments. This man wanted very much to dismantal the CIA and withdraw our troops from vietnam. Then was mysteriously murdered by a lone gunman named Lee Harvey Oswold. So the lesson here is do you really think the power structure is going to elect someone who is going to go against their agenda. To all you liberals out there keep this important piece of commonsense in mind.

I think the anti-christ will be a leader of a military that dominates the world. Bush fits the scenerio perfectly of the willful king of the Gog Magog war. also known as the anti-christ. This leader will destroy many nations taking their wealth and protecting Israel in the beginning but then will later turn on Israel after making peace treaty. So, if Bush leaves office without this war occuring then O'bama could be the next in line but he would have to be a man of war to start with before being man of peace.

His own brother in Africa is on record stating this fact. His former teachers in Hawaii are also on record stating that he is a muslim because he made it clear to them on several occasions that he was. Plus when he became Senator he demanded to be sworn in on the coran and not the bible. As I have stated before I'm not saying Obama is the antichrist. He is an afrolennonist.
