I am an actual Christian, not one portrayed by silly tv shows, or the silly media of this world. It's amazing how many people feel so threatened by us, they have to sit all day and try to make us look coo-coo for coa-coa puffs. The people doing that don't really know any real christians. We need to stop being concerned about who the anti-christ is and start sharing God's Word with everyone who will listen.
Christian's everywhere we need pray together, for revival and for anyone who is not right with the Lord to be saved!
GOD LOVES YOU! Even though you are not sure what it means to be a Christian....or your afraid of judgment from others. Just because we are Christians does not make us perfect, it just means that we have asked God to forgive us of our sins. It doesn't mean we will not ever sin again, we are human. That is the way we were made. That is why God sent his ONLY son to die on the cross for us. He died for our sins. So that we would not have to suffer when the Lord comes. God will forgive you, it doesn't matter what you have done. He knows already...you just need to ask his forgiveness and turn away from your sin. Don't worry about changing immediately...the Lord will work in your life and you will not want the same things that you used to. He is Good. Find someone you know and tell them about this great news.
I have written done a couple of passages on salvation. Pick up your Bible or go to the store and buy one.
You are loved. The Lord loves you and I love you.

Russia and Iran are hoping Obama will win this election. Russia, Iran and other Islamic countries are very close to attempting to invade and overcome Israel once an for all. I personally believe that there will be a rapture. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, and if you are correct then I along with alot of other Christian better get ready for a long 7 years. Reguardless of the rapture, we need to pray and get spiritually ready. It just doesn't make sense to me how alot of people will admitt that we are now in the end of times, but have a problem with believing Obama could be the anti christ.Why not? Do you think if he was up there talking about what he really is going to do , so many people would be voting for him? |

Obama campaigned for someone(Odinga) who is corrupt, ruthless and has financial ties to terrorists. More importantly, Obama campaigned for a candidate who had the stated objective of dismantling US & Kenyan government efforts to root out Al Queda and other terrorist organizations. Organizations that had already caused the deaths of hundreds of Americans and Africans in embassy bombings. The thing that makes me mad, is everyone replying to this thread thinks christianity is the true religion and it isn't flawed at all. So all of this is based on one of thousands of religions. I myself am agnostic, because I don't believe there is "one way" to wherever we may end up (at least the ground).
And IF there is any truth to the BIBLE, the freakin book was written by man. Now someone can come and say they were inspired by the hand of God, but man is still fallible. Revelation is a dream. Modern Day psychics have dreams. They aren't always correct. Why should the Bible be?

Of course, the whole Jesus myth could be bunkem.
There are no historical records from the alleged time of christ that can prove his existence. The Romans were sticklers for records too. No writings from any contemporary writers of the day mentioning a "messiah" or a "miracle man" have ever come to light as would be the case were it true.
Historical writings of Jesus are this:
Jesus ben Pandira, reputed a wonder-worker, is said to have been stoned to death and then hung on a tree on the eve of a Passover in the reign of Alexander Jannæus (106-79 BC) at Jerusalem.
Jesus ben Stada, whose date is uncertain, but who may have lived in the first third of the second century CE, is also said to have been stoned and hanged on the eve of a Passover, but at Lydda.
Please please could the real JC please stand up.
And of course this goes further in the the Koran cannot therefore be believed as they also hold Jesus Christ to be a historical figure (though not the son of god, just a prophet).
It is much more likely the case that the whole myth was started as a tool for controlling the population of the day.
So what i'm saying is I can't get on with this Jesus is the anti-christ stuff as it's not been proved to me yet that there's a Christ in the first place.
In the end, If the Jesus story is a myth, it doesn't mean that the Christian Church is full of fools. You may be misguided but you are still at heart good people wanting to do good to your neighbours.
There's nothing stopping you from carrying that on if you decide the Bible isn't the full story. There's some really very worthwhile ideaologies in the book that anyone can believe in, no matter.
I hope you all get to see the light, one way or another. |
