Barack Obama is not the antichrist...the major reason being that he is from the wrong part of the world. He is, however, preparing the way for the antichrist. Here is an interesting article from the renowned Hal Lindsey:

I believe the antichrist will come from Europe. The book of revelation refers to "THE BEAST". The beast is not a person, but the European Union. The European Union is in fact the revived (holy) roman empire. If you look at a map of the previous territories within the roman empire, it is nearly identical to today's European Union. The antichrist will rise up from the beast. Obama is trying to spread socialism in this country to make it more like many european economies. The beast will eventually overtake most of the world. If you look at the book of revelation, the United States is really not mentioned very much. There is a reference to the eagle as far as armies involved in war, but I find nothing else that can be interpreted as the US. We will not be a world super power at that time...and I am starting to see why.
I do not know who the antichrist will be, but the world is now ready for him to appear. It could even happen in '09, especially if Obama wins the election. I know that some suspect King Juan Carlos of Spain. He did inherit the title of "King of Jerusalem", which is very interesting. I also understand that like Obama, he is very charismatic though he is 70 years old. But I guess that is not as old as it used to be...and I do believe that we are now on the fast track to the 7 year tribulation period mentioned in revelation.
The point is, that we are in the end of times. (Not the end of the world...God promised that he will not destroy the world). Things are changing very quickly. Be sure your heart is right with the Lord. Jesus died so we may live eternally. It is very simple. All you have to do is ask and turn from sin. It would also be very smart to study the Bible because it gives us very specific information for the times we are living in. Above all, do not take the mark of the beast. This will be a mark (maybe a tatoo or some form of computer chip under the skin-the technology is there) to the forehead or right hand. You will not be able to buy or sell without it. I think it will be passed off as something to make our lives easier. You won't need to worry about checks or credit cards being lost or stolen, etc... The bible says that anyone who willingly accepts this mark will not go to heaven. It may sound nutty right now. It sounds crazy to me too, but I can't believe people are follow Obama like lambs to slaughter either, so I guess it is not so far fetched.
Be sure to vote in the upcoming election. It is very important.
I hope that I have not offended anyone and I may sound crazy to some people, but I am not. I am just a normal mom. I hold a degree as a pharmacist and I worked until I had my 2 kids. I have studied this subject extensively for years and I feel like I have information that people will be needing very soon. |

Yes...the Jewish people are God's chosen race. There is no mistaking that...But besides his chosen people, there is the church (not a denomination), which is also mentioned in the Bible. They are two different things.
Do not forget that the Jews rejected Jesus, but it was prophecy that had to take place to make a way for man to come back to God...because man screwed up!
