According to the book of Apocalypse (That's The Revelation for you Protestants), it's going to happen whether you like it or not. It is in fact supposed to be quite unpleasant.

If you think you can vote your way out of the Tribulation, then you have placed yourself above your own God. Betcha he won't like that much.

He is a guy, who like countless other Americans, didn't have the traditional 2 parent household upbringing, went to public school, didn't come from an extremely religious family, smoked a lil' pot in high school, matured, got an education, chose a career, did well and is now striving for more. I don't think any politician is 100% squeaky clean, but if George Bush proved nothing else, he has proved that ANYONE can do this fucking job so Obama is as good as anybody else to at least vie for the position. I don't know all of the intracies that come with the prophecies of the anti-christ, but I not only don't think Obama is the anti-christ, I don't think he's even a major player in that movie. I get tired of hearing that crap also. I'm from the south, drive a truck, farm, got chickens in the yard, but I'm still not a redneck or rascist.I'm prejudice though. I don't like people who are assholes, or who make assumptions about others, based on where they're from,how much miney they make, or their religion, or the color of their skin.

We have a lot of transplanted Yankees. For the record, nearly everyone in my area is from somewhere else, which is fine, but I get so sick and tired of hearing about how southerners are this way or that, or about how "Youse guys don't know how to talk". ESPECIALLY about how we can't drive in the snow. The vast majority of the people that are driving on OUR roads, are not from the south. I know, everyone that I pulled out of the ditch during the last snow storm with my truck or tractor, were from up North. Most were thankful of my help, but nearly everyone complained about how southerners don't know how to drive in the snow. I probably should've left'em in the road ditch.
