Relative to our times, they DID have a lot of time on their hands to figure stuff out.

From what I read, these blocks had to be transported uphill to their destination. Oh well, we'll probably never know how it was done for sure.

Well, I think the Egyptian pyramids are much older than Zahi Hawass wants us to believe, and humanity had harnessed some technologies thatwe either haven't discovered, or have been supressed.

The second image shows two little men just above the two giants rocks the same size as the one in first image.

I think perhaps some people missed the two guys in the second photo.

The normal explanations (elephants, large group of men) I need a documentary attempting to do it (I was viewing a documentary that explained it but only using two elephants and no the disposition of ropes I think was used).
But these stones in Baalbek seem too much even for elephants and ropes. I would like the thick of the rope needed and the amount of elephants needed to move the rock of first image.

Then we have the stories of "gods" living with man in ancient times... Who knows...

Wonder what happened? They were taken down by a foe so powerful, so cunning and so thorough that they were effectively wiped from the face of the earth.

The only evidence that their enemy couldn't erase was the buildings and what they etched onto the stone.

Everything else gone, the history, the language the religion. Now who would do this? It would have been a gradual thing but look at it as if you are looking at a crime scene.

This person hasn't just been killed but all evidence of their lives and where they came from also disappeared.

Of course the purpose for such a MASSIVE coverup is not only to erase the victim but also the murderer - who we can assume is still on the loose.

Pre-industrial revolution, hardly anyone had any time to think about anything except getting enough food, shelter and water.

Hi Jerry Having just accessed Keelynet for the first time, I was struck by the Ancient Egyptian hieroglyph adjacent to your e-mail address. Indeed, this prompts me to ask if you know about the "tuning forks" which were discovered by Egyptologists who, presumably because they were unable to ascribe a utility to these items, deemed them to be "anomalous".

Some years ago an American friend picked the lock of a door leading to an Egyptian museum store-room measuring approx 8 feet x ten feet. Inside she found "hundreds" of what she described as "tuning forks". These ranged in size from approx 8 inches to approx 8 or 9 feet overall length, and resembled catapults, but with a taut wire stretched between the tines of the "fork".

She insists, incidentally, that these were definitely not non-ferrous, but "steel". These objects resembled a letter "U" with a handle (a bit like a pitchfork) and, when the wire was plucked, they vibrated for a prolonged period. It occurs to me to wonder if these devices might have had hardened tool-bits attached to the bottom of their handles and if they might have been used for cutting or engraving stone, once they had been set vibrating. Any infromation you have on this will be greatly appreciated.

You'll want gravity or keely since they inter-relate.. I and many of my friends are of the opinion that gravity is an inflow of energy into all masses and that we are caught in the gravity flow towards the center of the earth...like flies caught in a wind against a screen door. I agree this was the way the fork was EXCITED, rather than striking the tines against a hard object as is normal...in this way, you just pluck the string....and the vibration goes through the handle into the mass to be worked with....cool....seeya!
