I think there is one farther south of me practicing...my friend from Gaston went to See Solomon, and they know of someone down there...I don't recall where though.

I'll try to call them and get some info for you tomorrow.

Along with the heart palpitations, did you ever feel like something was clogged in the middle of your chest? Also, did you get muscle twitches that jumped around to various parts of your body? I did see a reflexologist a couple of months ago and she said I had thyroid problems and put me on some herbs for that.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 150288

I described it to the doc like this:

My heart, brain and lungs are out of synch, and if they don't get in synch, one of them is going to give out!...I was sick ALL of the time.

He also said everyone in the northern US should increase vitamin D in the winter. Canada tells their citizens to, but we don't...go figure!

Dose of vitamin D in my multivitamin: 400...he put me on 5000!!! daily!!!

I do feel much better too!

Who knows, maybe it's the iodine flushing the toxic metals from my body...???

I'm from Indiana. This is so bizarre that you posted this. I had a coworker several years ago tell me about him. I had never heard of him before that. She said her friend's husband was dying of cancer and had tried everything. He went to this healer duded who did some kind or praying ritual. He told the husband that he wouldn't be in pain in 3 days, on the third day he died. Now, I know that sounds like an urban legend and I almost thought it was, but I trusted my coworker and now this post makes me realize I didn't just imagine that conversation.

I really appreciate all your help! hf The naturopath I'm seeing right now studied under Solomon for awhile, and while she's a very sweet lady, I'm just not sure how good she is. She just doesn't seem to be thorough enough. She kind of assumes things without asking many questions, and the first time she muscle tested me she said my heart palpitations were stress. Then she said I had a little bit of COPD and then I had viruses in my heart. She's also an iridologist, and she took pictures of my eyes about 3 weeks ago, but she has to have one more person to film before she can send that roll of film in.

From talking to my (very expensive endocrinologist) doctor...

I do highly suggest what he put me on.

Iodoral (1 tablet/day)
Multivitamin (1/day) (make sure it has Selenium in it...needed for the iodine to work...that's what he told me)
5000 Vitamin D. (1 tablet/day)
Omega 3 (fish oil) 1 tablet/day.

This will strengthen your immunity to fight whatever illness you have...

If you want to, I would recommend adding Sambucol...IF you know you still have a virus. It works like a charm...Lysine helps viruses too...

(All of these are natural products, they won't hurt you!)

It is kind of funny you mentioned the selenium. My mother-in-law was just talking to me about that the other day..saying exactly what you did...that we don't get enough iodine here in the midwest because of the lack of selenium in the soil. I'm sure I probably need more vitamin D as well.

Re: Is anyone familiar with Solomon Wickey, the well-known Amish healer from Indiana?Quote

I had a friend go to him with Cystic Fibrosis.

I was skeptical..CF is a genetic disease...how can he cure that?

Well, my friend's lung functions went from 45% to 95%!!! Eating Solomons tree bark or something like that!

IM A BELIEVER!

He should have been dead at age 6...He now is 26...

The medical community PAID him to write down everything he ate, drank, percussion treatments, etc...because they couldn't figure out why he was so healthy, and all the other CF patients weren't...

Well, I know why he was healthy.

Sad thing, if he told them (Riley Hospital doctors) about Solomon's tree bark (or whatever) they would stop treating him...so he has been silent to this day!

Oh well...

I had insurance last year...for the $2k bill.

This year, just major medical...the $700 I'll have to pay out of my pocket...endocrinologist is out of network for my new insurance. blah!

I guess it's either pay, or be sick...

Have you looked into the new insurance Indiana is offering this year? We can't get it cuz hubby hasn't been unemployed long enough...but you may want to look into it.

In case you're interested, this web site gives a list of foods and herbs containing all the vitamins and minerals our body's need. It also tells what health problems go along with each vitamin and mineral deficiency.

Here's a website for the Iodoral.

To get it, you probably have to go to a special pharmacy in Anderson, not just any CVS. Try calling around.

For the first month or two, you will literally smell the toxins coming out of your body while on this. I read some people can take up to 2 years to rid their bodies of the heavy metals...
I can't imagine smelling that bad for 2 years!!!!

I could barely stand myself for 2 months let alone 2 years...now I'm normal again!!!

Woo hoo!!!

No I haven't. I don't believe I've heard anything about it. My husband is a journeyman plumber and he makes good money, but he works for a small company so they don't have any insurance. The worse part of this has been that his hours have been reduced to 24 a week for the past 3 months. His dumb boss didn't bid on a job soon enough after a couple of them ended, and then he had a bid on another job, but got that one taken away from him because his wife didn't fill out the paper work properly. They've had another job lined up all this time, but they had to wait for the other trades to get their stuff done before the plumbers could come in and get started. My husband just started that one today, but he's still not sure whether he'll be back to 40 hours soon. It's been great timing too. We've exhausted our bank account trying to do things to get me well during all of this.

Thanks for the link. I'll check it out. I'm not too worried about smelling. I already stink from eating an entire bulb of garlic every day. LOL

Not only do I probably need to get metals out of my body, I probably need to get some radiation out as well. I had my gallbladder taken out when I was in my early 20's. This was before I knew much about natural medicine. I foolishly ate some scrambled eggs with radiation so they could do some kind of test on me. My mother-in-law told me I still have it in my body.

for the past ~15 years I have had to be on Zoloft or Prozac through the winter...diagnosed with Seasonal Affective Disorder...ya know? So I been taking that shit for YEARS.

This endocrinologist told me: "you don't have SAD, you are deficient in Vitamin D, like everyone else in the north during the winter".

He puts me on the 5000 Vitamin D, and guess what? This is the first year in the past ~15 that I haven't had to be on the antidepressants! AMAZING!!! I can tell a HUGE difference! I don't feel like hibernating in the winter any more! I actually talk to people in the winter, and GO places now!

And as you can probably guess, the doctor that diagnosed me with sad is no longer an employee of mine! I fired him!

Good for you! hf That's great. I'm really happy for you. I refuse to take any chemicals they prescribe. It's all poison. If you ever feel depressed again and need something besides the vitamin D, there are herbs that are good for that too.

It's good you fired that doctor too. I know these two sisters and both were addicted to pills because of their pusher doctor. One of them recently died because of it.

BTW..it's funny you mentioned the chemtrails earlier. I've also been wondering if they didn't spray something that caused me to get pneumonia or whatever it is I have. I know of too many people who have gotten the flu and are having so much trouble getting over it. And I first got sick around the end of September. It was still warm them and I was outside working in the yard all the time.
