I will be going to see Solomon next Wednesday. I have heard the directions on google and map quest are not very reliable. Is there anyone in the Anderson/Lapel area that has gone that can offer us a sure route to find him? I would appreciate some help and also maybe an approximate time it takes to get there. Thanks!

None of the readers, including Solomon are there to 'impress'. they are doing the job God gave them to do and are sharing the work Sol has taught them to do. FREE to boot. It amazes me that people go to them for help, then balk at the way it's given. It's not the boloney you get at the Dr. You believe in Him, you receive by Him. We have become very short sighted in healing naturally and want everything, including information, handed to us on a silver platter. we trash our bodies and the earth and wonder why we are sick. Keep digging and you will find out how amazing it is that you actually found out about Sol at all. I thought my miracle was in what Sol did for me....the miracle is that I found him,3x via Instanbul Turkey, Louisiana and Texas angels. Sol has taught many people to do what he does. It's not a secret. He is a person to respect and the people who learn under him and work the same way he does, are a gift to the earth. If an apprentice 'solicits' Sol as a teacher, he is not giving in the way God would want. Solomon wants no recognition---he says God gets 100% credit. Start learning about your body yourself. there are not thousands of disease, there are only so many organs in our bodies, so when one is sick, we heal that organ and the 'disease' goes away. You repoison and the cycle continues. Whew, just had to say this. There is HOPE for everyone...God's promise. Peace and good health to you all. Crafty Mom

I just read this entire thread and as an intuitive alternative healer myself, I'm find so many of your statements so very, very pitiful.

When are you going to begin to take responsibility for your own health? Tomorrow? After you run to the next healer because you didn't "get anything" from your current visit? Or maybe you are still clinging to the "My Doctor" thing? "My doctor said this, My Doctor said that, I've got this long, difficult-to-pronounce disease and I have to have that long, difficult-to-pronounce surgery."

YOU are the cause and sustenance of most of your maladies. Find out why, and you'll have learned much, and be able to HEAL YOURSELF at anytime.

I'm from that area and we used Map Quest to get to Solomon's. We had no problem finding his place. It took us a little under 2 hours to get there. We left home about 3 hours ahead of the appointment to allow ourselves enough time to find his place. Then we drove back into the town of Auburn for a restroom break, then headed back to Solomon's in time for the appointment.

Re: Is anyone familiar with Solomon Wickey, the well-known Amish healer from Indiana?Quote

I find your comments very judgmental. How can you call yourself a healer and yet spew words that damage others. Some people are looking for answers because the medical profession is at a loss as to what can be wrong with them. They are scared and looking for answers. Many people are not in a place in their lives where they realize much can be accomplished from within. I would suggest your comments be out of love and concern and not out of despise for a fellow human being. Not one of us is perfect and kind words would go a lot further and produce much more long term healing then the kinds of words you have used to turn people away and off! You should be ashamed of yourself!

Love your fellow man -- do not turn on them and promote hostility!

We all need encouragement in every aspect of our lives and tend to surround ourselves with positive people so we can hold each other up rather then pull each other down or watch another sink. That is what we are commanded to do in the Bible. We should care for each other as Christ has cared for us. That is what life is all about ... To use this time to become as close to God as possible and portray the likeness of Him to the best of our ability with those around us. I thank God He has provided me with those kind of people in my life. The health problems many of us have to face can be completely devastating and if it wasn't for the positive words of those around us and the hope and trust in the Lord, where would we be?

I would encourage you to rethink how you word things and get your point across in a more positive, motivating and encouraging way. Just think ahead of time ... will my words be said in love or will I turn people away?

Re: Is anyone familiar with Solomon Wickey, the well-known Amish healer from Indiana?Quote

Hi 400810,

I also found those comments to be very judgmental and debated whether to reply or just let it go. I wouldn't want to see a healer with this type of attitude. I think they should be careful about what they preach, because one day they might find themselves in the same situation.

I thought I was pretty healthy before all of this started. I eat healthy and am very careful about what I put in my body. I don't eat junk food, white sugar or flour, bad oils, msg, fluoride, etc. I don't eat processed foods, don't take medications or anything that will poison my body. I was physically active before I got sick. I have a good marriage, a happy home life, a deep spiritual life, and have very little stress in my life. I live out in the country and spend a lot of time close to nature. I thought I was doing everything right and I still got sick.

I went to the emergency room for a diagnosis. I went to the healers for healing. I followed every instruction to the letter. I did exactly everything they recommended. I also did lots of research on my own. It's always been my belief that you have to take an active part in your healing. It has been slow-going, but my health is finally coming back. You know what was the greatest gift I received from each of the healers I saw? Empathy! Not sympathy. I don't want or need anyone feeling sorry for me. Nearly every one of the healers I saw had been through their own health crisis and understood what I was going through. That's what makes a good healer, IMHO. After I finish with my studies to become a master herbalist, I plan to continue on to become a naturopath. I will never say anything that will make my patients feel guilty for getting sick....and no one will leave my office without receiving a hug!

Try this. This has worked for me better than anything else

[link to www.emofree.com]

Watch the short video that describes the technique. Then you can download a free manual that explains how to do it. I healed myself of a physical condition that would have required surgery, by doing this technique.

Re: Is anyone familiar with Solomon Wickey, the well-known Amish healer from Indiana?Quote

PRAISE GOD!!! I am sooo excited this morning that I could actually bust and can't wait to share my experience with Solomon Wickey.

There is so much I can say about our less then 10 minute visit together but what I really want you to know is I feel soooo much better today! Mr. Wickey told me while I was there that I was healed. I looked at him, feeling no different, and said, "I have???" He simply smiled at me and said, "You have!" He said it and I then believed it!

I went with a LONG list of problems. Mr. Wickey just took the list from me and read it himself. He began to tap my left knee while pushing down on my right arm (which I was supposed to be resisting but could not). After a very short time he took a magnifying glass and flashlight and looked at my eyes. He then started holding different bottles of herbs while still tapping my knee and pushing down on my arm. Intermittently he would look at my list and continue tapping and pushing. At one point he took his fingertips and pressed on my chest, touched my throat and pushed on my stomach, all the while still tapping on my left knee.

One of my MANY symptoms or complaints is that my left hand would go completely numb from time to time and told him of my concern that over the last week to week-and-a-half, each and every day the dumbness (from my wrist to my fingertips) was occurring more and more frequently to between 8-10 times per day. While explaining the problem , (without thinking of the pun NOT intended), I said, "My hand ..." I was searching for words to explain and couldn't quite grasp the right words, so I simply said, "My hand ... well, it is really getting out of hand and I don't know what is wrong with it!" He began to laugh and repeated "your hand is out of hand?". After all of us having a good laugh, which felt sooo good, he checked out my hand and wrist.

When he was all done, he sat back to indicate he was all done. But I wanted to be sure he had seen on my list my most troublesome symptom of my feet hurting sooo bad that I could barely walk. Now he had already said that I was healed but he was gracious enough to bend down and touch each of my ankles, tap my knee again and push on my arm again.

He told me he thought I had a slipped disc and blocked arteries. He told me of a combination herb he thought I should take for 3 months. I should take it 2 times a day, once in a.m. and once in p.m. I decided to take it at dinner time and then again at bedtime to give myself a jump start.

I want to say that I never expected to find such a difference this early. I had been told by a dear friend that was familiar with him that these things take time to leave the body. She explained that as I was touched and healed the problem would slowly move until it moved completely out of my body and I should not expect for the change to be immediate but that it could take some time. So I thought it was mind over matter when I began to feel so much better last night BUT ...

When I woke up this morning I COULD TAKE THE STAIRS WITH EASE instead of having to go up and down (because of very bad pain in my feet) the stairs sideways (somewhat like a child learning) putting one foot down then joining my other foot to that step and then one foot down ... You get the idea. This morning I have NO PAIN!!! NONE!!!

I made an appointment to go back and see him in 3 months. By then I will have taken the herbs for 12 weeks and I anticipate the feeling of well being that I have been searching for for some time now. Given the fact that my health went downhill very quickly about 1 1/2 years ago and all conventional means had been explored and exhausted and to have such results less then 24 hours after seeing Mr. Wickey ... Well, what can I say? I am a believer in the God-given gift that Mr. Wickey so passionately and confidently shares with those that come to him. He charges NOTHING for his time and if you choose to follow his suggestion of herbs that he feels may help you, you can purchase them from the herb store right there on site. He doesn't say a thing about purchasing the herbs from him or someone else. I decided to get them while I was there and when I came home I looked them up on the internet to find he charges only what it costs him! There is absolutely no markup at all!

Thanks for filling us in on your visit with Solomon. I was hoping you would. I'm so glad he was able to help you. It's a wonderful feeling just to be in his presence, isn't it? I can't wait for my second appointment. BTW...How is Solomon doing? Was he feeling better this time? Did your son go, and how is he doing?

Solomon seemed well and in good spirits, even laughing a few times. I am so very glad I went to see him and also am looking forward to going back to him in 3 months. The herbs he suggested seem to already have me on the road to recovery. I even asked my husband how long it had been that he had seen me walk steady and without pain. He admitted it had been a very long time. Like my husband, my son is also skeptical that there is anything to the kinds of gifts that Solomon has. As a matter of fact, my husband offered to drive me but I told him I didn't want him to because I didn't want any negativity around me. I am hoping the successes I have already had plus the improvements I am sure to make over the next 3 months will convince them to be believers! My son is still in pretty bad pain all the time. I figure it is going to have to get to a point where he will be willing to try anything for relief. I really thought he would have been there already but guess not. I will just leave that in God's hands to convict and convince. You probably know how difficult it is to talk to those that do not want to have an open mind. Plus it is usually a non-family member that does the convincing. Mom's usually get the reputation of being a nag where as someone else's mother is cool and in the know! I accept that and pray for God to work on him and that just the right person will be put in his path at just the right time that he is ready to hear.

Thanks for asking and please keep me up dated on how you are feeling.

I am glad you went to see, is it Kim? Are you feeling even better as the days go by? How about the rest of the family?

I'm glad to hear that Solomon is feeling better. I'm sorry that your son is still in so much pain. Perhaps he'll change his mind about people like Solomon after he sees that your health has improved. I'm very fortunate with my husband. His mother was aware of the value of alternative medicine way back in the early 70's, so he was raised in that kind of environment. I know what you mean about mom's being a nag. My children were raised in the same type of environment, but my oldest son has developed some bad health habits. He's got digestive problems and his teeth are starting to go bad, but I can only hope and pray that one day he will realize that mom might know what she's talking about.

I'm doing much better and thank you for asking. I like to keep physically active and I was actually able to mow the lawn with the push mower the other day. YIPPEE! We live on 8 acres and I also took 4 strolls around the property. I moved slowly, but I couldn't have even been able to do that a couple of months ago. I still have a little bit of the heart thumping and get short of breath, but it's getting better all the time. At least it's not thumping so badly I feel like I'm coming unglued anymore.

I'm going to see Kat again next Tuesday. If you ever decide to see one of Solomon's students, she's the one. She is awesome. She doesn't charge either, but she does accept donations. She quit her job so she could see people full time. She will never turn someone away just because they they don't have any money to give her. She says God always takes care of her and makes sure she has what she needs to get by. I've sent quite a few people to see her and they adore her as much as I do. I'm so thankful Solomon had the wisdom to share his knowledge with others.

I grew up in Auburn but no longer live there. My sister (his close neighbor) and my brother still live there.

He is seeing people again, twice a week. My sister and brother are both going to see him in 2 weeks. There are no longer any walk-ins. You have to make an appointment and the only way to do that is go there or write to him to make the appointment.

Solomon Wickey
6308 County Road 43
Auburn, IN 46706

I went to see him once with my family. I didn't have a major problem myself. I did have him do a reading on me since I only have 1 kidney. I didn't tell him anything about me (and certainly didn't tell him I had a kidney removed years ago) and when he put his hands on me he told me I had a kidney down. It wasn't down...it just wasn't there. He just knew it wasn't working. I'm a believer. He has helped my sister and my brother. Before Solomon got sick and quit seeing people he helped both of them tremdously.

My brother had hep.C and now the Dr.'s can't find it. He has other complications from the hep.C and that is why he is going back to see him. I know God (thru Solomon) will cure that too.

He is a wonderful, humble, gentle man.

Re: Is anyone familiar with Solomon Wickey, the well-known Amish healer from Indiana?Quote

Have you looked into the MMS thread here? Well I've heard some tales of Solomon, I think the shop is closed now, but it was in Clayton Ohio at Rt.49 and Union Rd. It was called Herbs & Angels. It was owned by Tom Mendenhal and his wife who for the life of me, I can't remember her first name. She seemed to be big on spiritual healing as well as herbs, which I just wanted the herbs at the time, she followed some of the teachings of Solomon and knew some of Solomans students. That was 6 or 7 years ago, I have not seen them around the Trotwood / Clayton area in years, but I just wanted to throw that name in the basket.

15 years ago I had a neighbor lady, (can't remember her name either) her mother was sick and close to death from cancer. The lady drove her mother across the state line to see Solomon, She said cars were lined up and people were sleeping in their cars with blankets, waiting to see him. After a long wait of many hours, she said Solomon made her mother a glass of something that looked purple/brown in color and smelled like turpentine. Soloman told the elder woman that after she drank the solution, she would become very sick for the first day, and then much better the next. What impressed me was the elderly lady was weak, could not walk and was restricted to a wheelchair before her trip to Indiana. A few days after she returned and the sickness went away, she was walking around again, feeling great. The neighbor lady said her mothers cancer was in remission.

Re: Is anyone familiar with Solomon Wickey, the well-known Amish healer from Indiana?Quote

Hi OP,

Late last Summer, I started having very similar health problems to the ones you described: extreme shortness of breath, heart palpitations, muscle spasms, very disrupted sleeping... I also was extremely fatigued, couldn't concentrate on anything at all, had odd roving joint and muscle pains, and other symptoms that seemed to come from no where and then go away for a time, then come back with another crazy symptom, like big-time joint swelling, streak-like rashes, and over exaggerated emotions.

I went to my family doctor, who did a bunch of blood tests on me. A few days later, he called me back and told me that he couldn't find anything wrong with my blood tests, so he told me I must be suffering from "malaise" and should feel better in a couple of days. Needless to say, my faith in doctors slipped a few more notches, and I did NOT feel better in a couple of days (not that I actually followed his advice to just wait). I couldn't afford to get a second opinion, so I decided to look for my own answers.

What I found out was that my crazy symptoms were identical to many of the things people with Lyme Disease suffer. Now, as far as I know, I've never been attacked/infected by a Lyme carrying tick, but nonetheless, there were people on-line who had Lyme and their symptoms were very much like my own. Also, the symptoms can show up many years after the initial infection may have occurred.

You might want to check out this check list to see if anything sounds similar to what you've been dealing with: [link to www.canlyme.com]

If you think this might be what you've got, I can recommend the book that I found to be a lifesaver. [link to www.amazon.com]
The book is very easy to follow and the author's research is excellent. Also, the best thing is that he tells what herbal supplements can be used to treat the illness, rather than antibiotics.

Hope this may have helped. I wish you much luck in finding out what your illness is and that you find a way back to health again soon. I know how scary it is to be really ill and not know what's wrong or how to fix it. Lots of odd illnesses going around these days. The best defense is to learn how to help ourselves and each other through shared experience and gained knowledge.

Re: Is anyone familiar with Solomon Wickey, the well-known Amish healer from Indiana?Quote

Thanks for the info, Pinky. I have read the symptoms to so many different illnesses trying to figure out what is wrong with me...Lyme Disease included. It's very difficult because so many illnesses have similar symptoms. The link you gave me was much more detailed than anything I have read about Lyme Diesease in the past. I had 48 out of 75 symptoms listed on this page. [link to www.canlyme.com] It's definitely worth researching further. The symptoms that are of particular interest to me are "Early on, experienced a "flu-like" illness, after which you have not since felt well" and "Symptoms seem to change, come and go". I felt perfectly healthy until I came down with what I thought was the flu and I haven't been the same since. And the part about symptoms changing, coming and going is one of the oddest things about this illness.

I'm very knowledgable about herbs and natural healing, and I feel like I could heal myself if I only knew what I was dealing with. I suffered from kidney infections my entire life, but I was able to heal myself of that several years ago. I haven't had one kidney infection since. But this thing, whatever it is I have, is really kicking my butt.

I'm happy you were able to find out what was wrong with you and what you needed to do to heal yourself. hf The next thing on my agenda is to look up the book you recommended. Thanks again for the links, advice and kind words. All of it is much appreciated!

I think people with these gifts just happen randomly. It is one of those great mysteries. Great we get a few of these from time to time. Need more people like these. Enough to drive down the cost of drugs would be great.

Another great source: Violet Lewis Herbs in Huntington, Indiana. She saved me from being so sick - I was just toxic. She is an iridologist, and she also has Ioncleanse foot baths. There is also a massage/reflexologist on staff. Her herbs are also Nature's Sunshine.

Yes- my nephew was healed- he had a serious brain injury-
that left him unable to swallow- he went to specialists-
all over the place- had experimental procedures- the works.
Solomon touched him- that night he did not choke on his spit- or drool on his pillow- like he did everynight- within three months he began eating normally- but on Jesus Christ- the healing began that night- after Solomon's touch.

WEnt to see him before his accident, approx 1 1/2 yrs ago. Did nothing for me! Wasted 48 hrs of my life for that. Met the "helpers" that are there and did follow ups thru them, for they were closer to my home. He said he could'nt "see" all that was wrong with be b/c of candida.(Duh, that's what I wanted to be healed of to begin with.) $180 later(herbs) I still have it. I have type 1 diabetes, he went on to tell me that was "gone". So I stopped my insulin, dumb I know, and no suprise I had to restart it after nearly dying from that experiment. They are just ordinary people preying on desperate sick people looking for a miracle.

Re: Is anyone familiar with Solomon Wickey, the well-known Amish healer from Indiana?Quote

I emailed David (Solomon's assistant) about sending in a photo, as I had sent a letter in a couple of weeks ago and hadn't heard back and was concerned as I didn't sent a photo in with it. I don't have the money to go see Solomon in person and since he will help long distance, I thought this was the next best thing. David said to resend the letter and a photo of myself. He also said that it was $10. I was a bit surprised as everyone says he doesn't charge, but I think $10 is completely doable. Anyone heard of him charging now? Thanks.

I didn't say I was bothered by the $10. Reread my post. I just wanted to make sure the $10 was going to Solomon. Please don't put words in my mouth or make assumptions.

Hi OP/Kelly,

I want to make a suggestion to you. Please do some research on iodine and iodine deficiency. You will be amazed at what you are going to find out. I'll post some links and let you decide. . . .

I actually was looking for a way to remove flouride from the body and came across this interesting therapy. I learned that most of us are iodine deficient because of the flouride in our water. Needless to say I will begin this therapy as soon as I can get the iodine supplements.

Hope the above work as I am copying them from stuff I pulled from the internet.

The last one is the important one and if you can't get it to work, perhaps you could google David Brownstein M.D and Clinical Experience with Inorganic Non-radioactive Iodine/Iodide.
