Is anyone familiar with Solomon Wickey, the well-known Amish healer from Indiana?
|
mannyr55 User ID: 639423 3/20/2009 11:16 PM | | Re: Is anyone familiar with Solomon Wickey, the well-known Amish healer from Indiana? | Quote | I myself have not gone to see Solomon Wickey yet but our closest friends have been going to see him for many years and have taken many friends and family members there. The stories our friends tell us about Solomon are absolutely uplifting and if you don't mind Spiritualy Uplifting and nothing short of miraculous results but all understandable when Solmon explains. Anyways back to main topic, his address is:
Solomon Wickey
6308 County Road 43
Auburn, IN 46706
In your own writing, briefly tell Solomon what your
concerns are. Also send a Most recent photo of
yourself (closeup head shot with clear view of your eyes) and send along a self addressed stamped envelope.
I believe he has appointments on Tuesday and Wednesday starting at 6:00 am promptly. Write to Solomon at the address posted and ask for appt. and specify if you would like to be seen in AM or PM but be there when your time comes.
I really hope this info is helpful. Take Care and GOD BLESS YOU. |

I have a niece that had a hole in her heart when she was born and it wouldn't heal. We found out about Solomon Wickey and he put my niece on an herb and it closed the hole in her heart. She is now a healthy 25 year old woman. Thank God for men like Solomon. Does anyone out there have his address or that of a healer trained by Solomon? I was told his son took over his business. All I have found out so far is he now lives north of Fort Wayne. I am looking for him because I have a friend who's grandson is 2 months old and they just found out he has a hole in his heart and we are hoping Solomon or his son could help my friends grandson. Please if anyone has his address, can you please post it. |

Each time he sent us home with herbs that helped if not healed. I have read that he no longer sees people on Mondays, and only takes appointments two days/week. I am not sure if this is correct, it is only what I have read from others.
I would recommend Solomon to anyone needing help. He has always written back to me in the past. I suggest sending him a letter in hand writing, this is what he preferred years ago. I would be surprised if he did not respond.

I desperately want to go see him, but I heard he is no longer doing any healings because he accidently inhaled poison ivy this summer while burning some brush. I was also wondering if anyone knows whether his herb shop is still open and whether any of his students do healings there. I know you used to be able to go on Mondays without an appointment, but I have no idea whether that would still be the case, if he does, in fact, have any of his students taking his place.
They don't have phones, so you have to write them to make an appointment or find out any information. That could take a while, so I was wondering if anyone might have any information on this.
He stopped doing his healings because in inhaled some poison ivy smoke?
If he were a healer, why couldn't he just heal himself? Or, why couldn't any of his students heal him?
I'm not passing any judgments here, I'm just curious. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 473495
As it turns out, the poison ivy thing was just a rumor. A good friend of Solomon's told me what was wrong with him, but it's personal, and I'm not going to disclose it out of respect for him. I will say that he did heal himself. |

I was almost up to 4 viruses again and it was in my heart.
A friend of mine had walking pnemonia that was encased in a pocket near her heart. The pocket would get so full and then release poison into her system. Our body is made to fight infection and since it was near her heart her chest would react immediately.
When you were taking the olive leaf; could be that, it was detoxing your system for a while but became immune to the infectious antibodies and it became stronger again.
Somehow I knew my friend was having trouble in this area. One day I simply laid my hand on her chest and prayed for her. She nor I did not know why till later.
I am sorry to hear that you are having this trouble in your body. I hope you do not mind and would please allow me to pray for you.
Dear Lord Jesus,
I come before you on behalf of your child. I ask in your name and by the stripes you have taken so we may be healed. for the purging of this iniquitable infirmity out of the body. I pray healing for your loved one. You are the creator and the lover of our soul Lord Jesus. Let the Godhead, Father, Son and Holy Ghost have thier way in this persons life. Your will is healing Lord and eternal life. We love you Lord only because you first loved us.
In Jesus Holy name I pray,
Amen
I love you dear,

It was a surreal experience to say the least. I went in without any expectations as to what may happen. I suffer from Migraine and stomach related issues. Solomon had me put my arm out and he then squeezed my knee slightly and pushed down on my arm while I provided resistance. He indicated that my problem was caused by my gall bladder and I said that I had had my gall bladder removed and he said they grow back. Anyway he did that a few more times and looked as if he were praying. He then said, "All done." That kind of shocked me and I just sat there for what seemed like hours and just looked at him bewildered. He probably thought I was an idiot but hopefully he gets that reaction all the time from people who don't know what to expect!! I do believe I have been healed by his (God's) "release." The entire time in there with him was about two minutes. |

HealedByGod(and Solomen) User ID: 662755 4/23/2009 9:21 AM | | Re: Is anyone familiar with Solomon Wickey, the well-known Amish healer from Indiana? | Quote | Yes I have. My name is rose and I am 12 years old. Yesterday some of my moms friends had made appointments with him a few months ago and asked if we would like to go. My mom and one of my brothers (tim) and I drove 5 hours there, were there for about 1 and a half hours and drove 5 hours back. Let me tell you it was all worth it. I have been out of school suffering from severe migranes all year. With them I cant see and/or speak. As we were in the waiting room i told my mom I was getting a headache. She didn't give me any medicine for it with high hopes Solomon would cure me. I walked in with a headache and walked out without one. I also have been suffering (from my headaches) with impaired vision. I always saw black dots everywhere. It was like looking through a black mesh screen. I also had bigger ones on top of the small ones. The big ones are now gone and the small ones are starting to receed. But I was told that somethings he can cure (well god can) like that, but some things if they have been building up in your system take just as long as it took to build up, to come back down. I just can't believe it. I thought I would never have my life back. He also told me that what was causing my headaches was my gall bladder. Something none of the countless doctors I saw picked up on. My mom also gets migranes and she has a bad gall bladder. None of the doctors put 2 and 2 together. Plus, my brother has been suffering from severe depression for the past half year. On the car ride home I saw him happier than I have in years, even though the severe depression had only been happening for a few months. And for a while yes, he stopped doing healings because he was sick and in the hospital, but now hes back up and doing them again. And he has a (non- amish) friend help him. His non-amish friend has an email address for appointments. I'm not sure what it is but you can probably look it up. It takes a few months to get in. I was there yesterday and his next opening was July. (of course, we made an appointment) he has changed my life and those of many others. He has cured cancer!!!!!!!! And, you no longer can do Mondays without an appoinment because he is so busy. In summary, if you are struggling, emotionaly, physically, or any other way, go see Solomon. The amazing thing is he won't accept money. He says because its God doing all the work and he's just a way for God to reach people. But he will accept stamps. Sounds crazy, I know but he gets letters from people all over, and he needs them to write back. He has changed my life and I urge you to go. |

BTW, has anyone ever had a long distance reiki healing done? I had one done by 3 reiki masters this evening. I was wondering how and when I'll be able to tell if it worked. Right now I'm still having the same problems.
no, i've never heard of the amish healer... i am going to look him up right now though..
beware reiki... not that it is bad, oh no... but one must already be of a certain frequency for it to be of any benefit... it is a weak healing system... there are better ways to heal yourself...
There's not a lot of info on the net about him, and you won't find any pictures because the Amish aren't allowed to have their pictures taken. I would recommend reading the book though.
I've been trying about everything imaginable to heal myself. I take a whole regimen of herbs every day. I drink freshly squeezed citrus fruit. I'm eating mostly raw foods...hydrotherapy...you name it. I thought I was getting better, but last week I went downhill and I'm right back where I started from.
No one can figure out what's wrong with me. I went to the emergency room twice...once in November and the other time in December. I was short of breath and my heart felt like it was beating too fast and would stop and any moment, even though my pulse was normal. They didn't find anything wrong with me on the first trip. On the second trip they said I had pnuemonia. (They did and ekg, took blood and chest x-rays on both occasions) I didn't want to take antibiotics, but I was desperate to get over this so I went ahead and took them. They didn't help.
Then I found a naturopath in my area and she muscle tested me and said I had 4 viruses in me. She gave me a bottle of olive leaf extract and I started getting better. I went back to her after I finished that bottle and she muscle tested me again and said I was down to two viruses, so I bought another bottle of olive leaf extract. I was feeling so much better and last Tuesday was the best I'd felt since about mid October. The very next day it all changed. I woke up and my heart felt like it was beating too fast again...even though my pulse rate is normal. It has been going on like that non-stop ever since. I've barely had any sleep. When I actually do fall asleep, I'm soon awakened with a jerk coming from my chest. I'm also getting little twitches all over my body. I went back to the naturopath and she asked me if I'd been around anyone who was sick, because I was almost up to 4 viruses again and it was in my heart.
I really like her, but I'm not 100% she knows what's wrong with me. Besides going to school for naturopathy and iridology, she also studied under Solomon for awhile, although she says he's a better healer than a teacher. Just like Solomon, she doesn't charge for the visit, and she sells her herbs at cost. She makes her money by getting a rebate every month for selling so many herbs, and by renting out space to other healers. I broke down in tears when I saw her yesterday. She looked at me and said, don't you give up on me. I know she really wants to help me. I'm just not sure if she's figured out what's wrong with me. The hospital doesn't care what's wrong with me because I don't have any insurance. They're not obligated to give me anything but basic care. I'm just desperate to find anything that will work. I'm exhausted. This all began when I came down with the flu around the end of September. I was pretty healthy before that. I'm open to all healing suggestions, or anyone from in the medical profession who might have a clue what could be wrong with me. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 150288 |

I have his address if you want to mail a request for an appointment. I mailed a request for an appointment and it is approx. a 2 month wait. You can also mail a picture of yourself and a sample of your handwriting along with a return self-addressed envelope and I believe $10 and he will reply with his suggestions on the herbs that you need. |

TheBobster User ID: 695044 6/4/2009 4:59 PM | | Re: Is anyone familiar with Solomon Wickey, the well-known Amish healer from Indiana? | Quote | I am quite familiar with Solomon since I have gone to see him several times. Three years ago I could barely walk any distance (like 1/4 mile) without becoming "crippled" with PDA (peripheral arterial disease, also called intermittent claudication). After seeing him the condition has greatly improved and I can walk much easier (more than a mile without symptoms). I see a vascular surgeon annually due to the condition and he tells me it is still there but greatly improved. I've never told him why.
The most amazing cure (Solomon calls it a "release") I ever experienced was a simple stiffness and dull pain in my neck and a lump on the spine above my shoulders. Solomon did not touch my neck but did the "arm thing" and told me I had a slipped disk. "Gee, what do I do about that?", I asked. "It is okay now," said Solomon. Upon leaving his room I felt the back of my neck and the lump was gone completely. It was like feeling someone neck! The lump and pain has never returned and it's been a few years now.
Interestingly, sitting next to me at the moment of that release was my daughter. She said that when Solomon touched me I became enshrouded in a green haze or aura. My daughter doesn't make up stuff like that.
Bottom line, Solomon is for real and is simply a sensitive conduit to God's power. He has educated himself in several modalities of healing (irridiology, herbalism, kinesthesiolgy) and provides a diagnosis and cure from somewhere other than him.
Also, if Solomon cannot do anything about a condition, he doesn't "wing it". There are times when he just passes over it or actually says there is nothing he can do. |

I live about 10 minutes from Solomon.
I'm in Ft. Wayne (northside) he's in Auburn/Leo (southside)
Last I heard, he was very ill, and not seeing patients. That was in December.
My guess is that you can still get the herbs you need from his shop. If you know what herbs you need, you can probably write him at his address and still get them.
IF YOU are really desperate, I could stop by and see if I can get them for you and mail them to you.
I thought he was still ill, but I went ahead and wrote to him and mailed it today anyway. I don't know what herbs he would recommend for me. Thank you for offering to get them for me. I can probably get them from my naturopath. She sells the same herbs as Solomon does. Do you know if he has any students seeing patients there right now?
Not sure. But I know there are a couple of others in the state. One in Elkhart, and another down south somewhere...I'd have to do some calling tomorrow to find out for you. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 351515
Yes, the other guy in in Louisville KY. And he is seeing people 3 days a week in Auburn, his name is David, but you have to make an appointment, no just stopping by. The are also still selling all the herbs, I was just there 2 weeks ago |

Do you know why you won't be seeing Solomon? I know some of Solomon's students and have not heard that Solomon isn't seeing anyone.
Anyone can do what Solomon does, which is why he had so many students. He wanted to pass his knowledge on to others. Naturally, some of his students will be more adept than others, and I would put David in this category, as he has worked very closely with Solomon for years. |
