Is Solomon Wickey still seeing the sick? Went to see him several years ago in Canaan,In. and was very helpful.I'm aware his current address is in Auburn,In.

Yes he is, but you need to write to him for an appointment and include a pre-addressed return envelope with postage attached. I was there one day and saw the stack of mail that they brought in. He would spend a fortune on stamps if people expected him to pay for postage. hf

I do hope you have found relief and healing I have never met Solomon Wickey but have trained under a man who does know him and has trained under him over the years find or contact someone who is a CNHP there are many and they truly care about helping you they dont charge alot and if they do (there always one or two out there that rock the boat) find someone who has a good rep. Ive noticed a few of your symptoms I cant muscle test you from here but I encourage you to check to see if you are suffering from Candida or prasites thats the best I can tell you from here God Bless.

I live in Adams County just next to Soly's old house where he used to read eyes and give treatments. He lives up in Auburn now but still gives treatments and has an herb shop. He definitely is not suffering from any posion ivy right now:)so you should be able to get an appointment with him. If you can't, there are other amish healers with good solid reputations around also though just without as much fame. I have another amish neighbor who is a very successful healer and I can get you his address if you want it. Good luck and God bless!

I am familiar with Solomon and have seen him 2 times in the past 2 months. He is healing and doing great. You need to write to him and ask for an appointment. Send a SASE so they can drop it in the mail. He is still doing God's work, proving nothing short of miracles for those in need.

Did not read the entire thread in case this was covered.

What does inhaling burning posion ivy do to the body?

Never have heard of this before!
 Quoting: Healthy1 294213

When I was in Oregon I stood next to an outdoor fire and someone raked poison oak into it without noticing.

I had blisters on my eyeballs, inside my nose, throat and lungs. My head blew up to the size of a basketball. The skin on my face and neck stretched and tore.

I couldn't eat, because chewing was so painful and caused more skin damage as my lips would rip open.

I oozed a disgusting sticky yellowish-white liquid from my entire body in large quantities, that would dry on the skin and cause more tearing.

I had no money or insurance at the time, and had to suffer through it with no help or assistance. It was torture.

I still think that we could win any war by dropping a bomb of poison oak. I would surrender immediately!

He is afraud! He had my wife send him a picture to do an analysis. He wrote back saying my wife did not have cancer even though she had been diagnosed at MD Anderson Cancer center. She died at 58 from complications caused by sarcoma.

I thought one actually had to see him for the healing?

Also, I don't think he ever claimed to heal all illnesses and cancers. The person who I know saw him, he told them they would be gone in a few days. They had cancer. And Solomon was right, the person died the later on the exact day he told them.

Re: Is anyone familiar with Solomon Wickey, the well-known Amish healer from Indiana?
And what about you? Do you feel the same way? Money will not heal you, however, you can help heal yourself. Attitude is everything!!! You will beat this thing!! What is your name?

Personal responsibility for yourself, do not give it to anyone else. It is your responsibility for your health, not anyone else's. Do you know stress does not help in these matters? Perhaps you should talk with the "Creator", give your problems to him/her/it, when they become unbearable for you to handle.

This evening I will send healing to you. At 9:30 Ontario time zone, you will take yourself to a quiet, comfortable place and sit or lie there quietly, eyes closed. Let yourself drift, open yourself to spirit. Think about colours, beautiful healing colours, purple, blue, green, gold, surround yourself with the colour of your choice, whichever one pleases you most. Feel the energy entering your body. You will feel warm, protected and loved and sleepy.

What is your name please?

God Bless

Diana

I don't feel the same way about the money, but I have to admit my positive attitude is waning. The longer this goes on, the harder it gets.

I've been doing everything I can think of to heal myself. Some of the things I mentioned in one of the above posts are just a few of the things I've been doing. I'm even eating an entire bulb of garlic each day(spread through the coarse of the day). I probably smell quite offensive. LOL I just hope I'm doing the right things to heal myself. I'm not certain whether the hospital or the naturopath has correctly diagnosed me.

I know that stress doesn't help. My husband reminds me of that and keeping a positive attitude daily. I'm a spiritual person, so I have definitely been talking to God..the Creator..the Universe, etc, every day.

Thank you for the healing this evening. My name is Kelly.

God Bless you too! hf

Seriously,,,,I would take a herb holiday for a while. I would cut them in half for about a week and then go down to zero for about 1-2 weeks and see if this helps, then if you are feeling better slowly build back up to 1/4-1/2 of what you were taking before. You have to change things if you are going to fiqure out what it wrong.

Re: Is anyone familiar with Solomon Wickey, the well-known Amish healer from Indiana?
I saw Solomon Wickey's nephew Jake Schwartz about ten years ago as I suffer from Rheumatoid Arthritis. At the time I saw Jake I could not walk without excruciating pain so I was willing to try anything. I'm not a religious person, or an alternative health food advocate, so to say I was skeptical of his "methods" is an understatement, but my sister insisted he could "cure" me. It was see Jake or else we're going to go shopping. Yuck. I opted to see Jake.
We took the two hour trek to southern Indiana only to find Jake's office was closed that day. Fortunately, he opened the door. He took one look at me and kindly took me inside. He asked me to have a seat and hold up my right arm. I was unable to lift my arm, so he asked my sister to place her left arm on my right shoulder and lift her right arm. At this point I was thinking "oh boy, what am I doing here?" Jake placed several items of food and herbs in my left hand and pressed on my sister's arm to test my tolerance level to each item. Next, he conducted an iridology exam. The entire time he is doing this I held on to my skepticism. I told myself, 'hey, it was a beautiful drive' with all the fall foliage, and he is Amish which I found fascinating in and of itself. After studying my eyes, Jake told me I had an overabundance of yeast in my body. He asked me to lay down on a table and proceeded to lay his hands on my head; he quickly and gently ran them down my body to my toes. When he was done, he said I was finished. My skepticism remained, but I 'humored' him and bought some herbs he recommended. What could it hurt? About 15 minutes later my sister and I climbed back in her van. No sooner than we shut the van doors an overwhelming smell of yeast filled the van. The smell was so strong we had to roll down the windows and drive as fast as we could, as if we had just run over a skunk. Despite this incident, I was still skeptical of Jake's work. I halfheartedly took his advice. I didn't complete the herbal remedies he recommended. Instead, I went back to 'real' doctors for help. For the next ten years I was on a merry go round of drugs: methetrexate, prednisone, plaquenil, embrel, remicade, etc. Then I lost my health insurance, which is perhaps the best thing that ever happened. Thinking back to Jake I realized he was more right than wrong, and he was the ONLY health practitioner who related food to my body's ailments. All the foods he told me to avoid were many of the culprits that made my body hurt - night shade vegetables, dairy, wheat, sugar, caffeine, red meat, corn. I eliminated these foods the best I could and began to feel better. I no longer have flare ups, don't use my cane, and recently completed the rigourous P90x 90 day extreme exercise program (with modifications of course). When I do hurt I think back to what I ate and can always track it back to food.
I'm no longer skeptical of Jake's work. In fact, just last week I returned to Indiana and took a trip to see him again. He told me one of my parathryroid glands is out of whack resulting in bone pain as my body is not processing calcium properly. He also recommended more herbs for my RA. This time I will take the herbs with enthusiasm and look forward to a pain free life. If you are fortunate enough to see Jake, I highly recommend the trip. Carolyn at the post office will give you directions if you get lost in Canaan. While you're there stop for lunch at the Indian Tribe Restaurant. Definitely a trip back in time and well worth the drive.

I desperately want to go see him, but I heard he is no longer doing any healings because he accidently inhaled poison ivy this summer while burning some brush. I was also wondering if anyone knows whether his herb shop is still open and whether any of his students do healings there. I know you used to be able to go on Mondays without an appointment, but I have no idea whether that would still be the case, if he does, in fact, have any of his students taking his place.

They don't have phones, so you have to write them to make an appointment or find out any information. That could take a while, so I was wondering if anyone might have any information on this.

Have you tried H2O2(hydrogen Peroxide). Just might do the trick. Prayer is always a good added boost, not only will you feel better after praying, but you never know, GOD might answer your prayer.

It's up to you. You can send him a letter with a brief explanation of your symptoms. You must include a picture of yourself (it doesn't have to be a current picture) and $10.00. It's free to see him in person. Just send him a letter to set up an appointment. Include a self-addressed stamped envelope with any letter you send him.

aww... don't panic... number one!

i don't have any advice or information to give you other than to do the genie in the magic bottle trick... your wish is my command... don't ask to be healed, demand it, believe it, feel it... you might not be healed miraculously, but you should be able to be put on an experiential path that will lead to the places and people you need to be with in order to receive the help you need/desire...

there are too many worked up engineered viruses out there... there is too much fear and negative energy built up... even though you feel your diet is superb i would still reevaluate...

and now i feel silly for posting, cause i dont think i have anything to offer...

Oh yes you do....when you said "demand it and believe it", that was the best advice anyone could give another.

Yes I know Solomon very well. I am from Ft. Wayne, IN and my parent's and Solomon have been neighbors for years. The Wickey family is like family to us. We go to the amish weddings and they come to our family functions. Actually I will not mention his boys names, but I use to work with him and he is one of my best friends, well talk at least once.

Our families race horses together. Very nice people. People need to understand he is not God!! He is just doing what he can to help people. I know his family very well. Actually my Paps and him were very good friends. My Papa died 3 months ago of pancreatic cancer. Sallie did every thing he could to help him out, but like he will tell you, "I'm not God!" Since I know he is a very generous and caring man I would appreciate it if people that don't have anything positive to say about him to, please don't say anything at all.
My goal is to help people too, so if you have any questions feel free to visit my site and leave a comment at www.increaseyourselfworthtoday.com your comments will only be read by me. I won't post them unless you want me to. But you will help other by telling us ways to increase self worth.

Re: Is anyone familiar with Solomon Wickey, the well-known Amish healer from Indiana?
I went to see Solomon back in October, I was very nervous, and probably didn't really explain my situation very well. I haven't really experienced any difference since I saw him. I wish I had really talked to him more in depth about my condition. I am going to try to go again in the spring, but I am going to be more prepared then, with everything written down, so I don't forget anything, or get caught in the moment. If you plan to go, take a list with you of everything, so that you can explain your condition completely, the medications that you are on, all symptoms and complications that you have had. He is not a mind reader, and needs you to tell him exactly what is going on with you, he is not going to sit there and try topry the information out of you, he simply asks you when you sit down, "So what's wrong with you?" Then it is up to you to explain. hf
