Is anyone familiar with Solomon Wickey, the well-known Amish healer from Indiana?
I desperately want to go see him, but I heard he is no longer doing any healings because he accidently inhaled poison ivy this summer while burning some brush. I was also wondering if anyone knows whether his herb shop is still open and whether any of his students do healings there. I know you used to be able to go on Mondays without an appointment, but I have no idea whether that would still be the case, if he does, in fact, have any of his students taking his place.

They don't have phones, so you have to write them to make an appointment or find out any information. That could take a while, so I was wondering if anyone might have any information on this.

While I'm waiting to see if anyone replies, I thought I'd post a link to the book written about him called Solomon's Touch.
[link to www.amazon.com]
It's one of the most uplifting books I've ever read. This book was published before he was injured this summer.

BTW, has anyone ever had a long distance reiki healing done? I had one done by 3 reiki masters this evening. I was wondering how and when I'll be able to tell if it worked. Right now I'm still having the same problems.

no, i've never heard of the amish healer... i am going to look him up right now though..

beware reiki... not that it is bad, oh no... but one must already be of a certain frequency for it to be of any benefit... it is a weak healing system... there are better ways to heal yourself...

There's not a lot of info on the net about him, and you won't find any pictures because the Amish aren't allowed to have their pictures taken. I would recommend reading the book though.

I've been trying about everything imaginable to heal myself. I take a whole regimen of herbs every day. I drink freshly squeezed citrus fruit. I'm eating mostly raw foods...hydrotherapy...you name it. I thought I was getting better, but last week I went downhill and I'm right back where I started from.

No one can figure out what's wrong with me. I went to the emergency room twice...once in November and the other time in December. I was short of breath and my heart felt like it was beating too fast and would stop and any moment, even though my pulse was normal. They didn't find anything wrong with me on the first trip. On the second trip they said I had pnuemonia. (They did and ekg, took blood and chest x-rays on both occasions) I didn't want to take antibiotics, but I was desperate to get over this so I went ahead and took them. They didn't help.

Then I found a naturopath in my area and she muscle tested me and said I had 4 viruses in me. She gave me a bottle of olive leaf extract and I started getting better. I went back to her after I finished that bottle and she muscle tested me again and said I was down to two viruses, so I bought another bottle of olive leaf extract. I was feeling so much better and last Tuesday was the best I'd felt since about mid October. The very next day it all changed. I woke up and my heart felt like it was beating too fast again...even though my pulse rate is normal. It has been going on like that non-stop ever since. I've barely had any sleep. When I actually do fall asleep, I'm soon awakened with a jerk coming from my chest. I'm also getting little twitches all over my body. I went back to the naturopath and she asked me if I'd been around anyone who was sick, because I was almost up to 4 viruses again and it was in my heart.

I really like her, but I'm not 100% she knows what's wrong with me. Besides going to school for naturopathy and iridology, she also studied under Solomon for awhile, although she says he's a better healer than a teacher. Just like Solomon, she doesn't charge for the visit, and she sells her herbs at cost. She makes her money by getting a rebate every month for selling so many herbs, and by renting out space to other healers. I broke down in tears when I saw her yesterday. She looked at me and said, don't you give up on me. I know she really wants to help me. I'm just not sure if she's figured out what's wrong with me. The hospital doesn't care what's wrong with me because I don't have any insurance. They're not obligated to give me anything but basic care. I'm just desperate to find anything that will work. I'm exhausted. This all began when I came down with the flu around the end of September. I was pretty healthy before that. I'm open to all healing suggestions, or anyone from in the medical profession who might have a clue what could be wrong with me.

aww... don't panic... number one!

i don't have any advice or information to give you other than to do the genie in the magic bottle trick... your wish is my command... don't ask to be healed, demand it, believe it, feel it... you might not be healed miraculously, but you should be able to be put on an experiential path that will lead to the places and people you need to be with in order to receive the help you need/desire...

there are too many worked up engineered viruses out there... there is too much fear and negative energy built up... even though you feel your diet is superb i would still reevaluate...

and now i feel silly for posting, cause i dont think i have anything to offer...

Hi OP,

I'm a healer and I will of course send absent healing to you.

May I also suggest you get some colloidal silver from your nearest health food store. You should start taking this and keep on taking it. If you do have viruses you should take more than the teaspoon which is suggested on the bottle. Do not use a metal spoon!!! Use plastic or take it straight from the bottle. Take it at least three times a day and at least a tablespoon full.

You may get some flu-like symptoms while taking the silver and you certainly will get a clean-out from it (be prepared for that):) This means that it is working to clear whatever you have picked up. I take it myself and have been for a few years now. It has been a bad year for flu and while all around me have had it, I've been flu-free.

We are all able to heal ourselves, the trouble is that very few of us believe we can so we abdicate our personal responsibility to others (doctors, etc). If you have the intention you can do it. Healers can help start the process, but you are the one who actually does the work.

I will say however, that in cases of extreme emergency you certainly want to have the option of being able to receive treatment immediately for any life threatening illness or accidents. I believe that alternative modes of healing can and do compliment our modern medicine.

Blessings to you

You may be interested in another remarkable healer. He is a Catholic priest by the name of Father Fernando Suarez. He is healing in the tradition of the Biblical apostles. His website is here [link to www.fatherfernando.com]
There are also some videos on him at YouTube.

Thank you for the suggestion, Canuck. I have some colloidal silver throat spray, but it's probably not as strong as what you mentioned. I'm willing to give it a try. I'm so desperate, I'll try anything. This isn't like me, but I'm sitting here crying my eyes out.

I feel like I have no place else to turn. As I said earlier, I have no insurance. I'm already a few thousand dollars in debt thanks to my 2 trips to the emergency room that didn't help me. My husband was making pretty decent money, but his hours have been cut to 24 a week for the last 3 months. We have exhausted our bank account between just trying to get by and spending money trying to get me well. I just don't know what else to do. I feel like most places look at me like I'm not worthy of being healed because I don't have any money.

Thank you! I'm on my way to check it out right now. I hope he isn't too far away. Solomon lives only about 90 minutes away from me. It's just hard to find current information about him because he's Amish...so no phones, websites, etc.

And what about you? Do you feel the same way? Money will not heal you, however, you can help heal yourself. Attitude is everything!!! You will beat this thing!! What is your name?

Personal responsibility for yourself, do not give it to anyone else. It is your responsibility for your health, not anyone else's. Do you know stress does not help in these matters? Perhaps you should talk with the "Creator", give your problems to him/her/it, when they become unbearable for you to handle.

This evening I will send healing to you. At 9:30 Ontario time zone, you will take yourself to a quiet, comfortable place and sit or lie there quietly, eyes closed. Let yourself drift, open yourself to spirit. Think about colours, beautiful healing colours, purple, blue, green, gold, surround yourself with the colour of your choice, whichever one pleases you most. Feel the energy entering your body. You will feel warm, protected and loved and sleepy.

What is your name please?

God Bless

I don't feel the same way about the money, but I have to admit my positive attitude is waning. The longer this goes on, the harder it gets.

I've been doing everything I can think of to heal myself. Some of the things I mentioned in one of the above posts are just a few of the things I've been doing. I'm even eating an entire bulb of garlic each day(spread through the coarse of the day). I probably smell quite offensive. LOL I just hope I'm doing the right things to heal myself. I'm not certain whether the hospital or the naturopath has correctly diagnosed me.

I know that stress doesn't help. My husband reminds me of that and keeping a positive attitude daily. I'm a spiritual person, so I have definitely been talking to God..the Creator..the Universe, etc, every day.

Thank you for the healing this evening. My name is Kelly.

God Bless you too! hf

Re: Is anyone familiar with Solomon Wickey, the well-known Amish healer from Indiana?
Have you looked into the MMS thread here? Well I've heard some tales of Solomon, I think the shop is closed now, but it was in Clayton Ohio at Rt.49 and Union Rd. It was called Herbs & Angels. It was owned by Tom Mendenhal and his wife who for the life of me, I can't remember her first name. She seemed to be big on spiritual healing as well as herbs, which I just wanted the herbs at the time, she followed some of the teachings of Solomon and knew some of Solomans students. That was 6 or 7 years ago, I have not seen them around the Trotwood / Clayton area in years, but I just wanted to throw that name in the basket.

15 years ago I had a neighbor lady, (can't remember her name either) her mother was sick and close to death from cancer. The lady drove her mother across the state line to see Solomon, She said cars were lined up and people were sleeping in their cars with blankets, waiting to see him. After a long wait of many hours, she said Solomon made her mother a glass of something that looked purple/brown in color and smelled like turpentine. Soloman told the elder woman that after she drank the solution, she would become very sick for the first day, and then much better the next. What impressed me was the elderly lady was weak, could not walk and was restricted to a wheelchair before her trip to Indiana. A few days after she returned and the sickness went away, she was walking around again, feeling great. The neighbor lady said her mothers cancer was in remission.

Diane AKA Canuck,

I just wanted to thank you for sending me a healing this evening. It did make me feel better and I did feel peaceful and sleepy.

Healthy 1,

I'm not sure what it does to the body. I never heard exactly what it did to Solomon, although people said he seemed to give up on life. For anyone who knows him or has read the book about him, that seems unbelievable.

I read a post about him on another message board last night from a guy who seems to know him quite well. This guy was talking about how Solomon had just set the broken bones of a 9 year old boy that very day, and the post was dated Oct 1, 2007. That makes me wonder if he's back to healing (because I think the accident happened before that, although I'm not 100% certain.)and maybe it was the effects of the poison ivy that caused him to give up for awhile, because that seems so totally out of character for him.

348834,

Thanks for sharing that story about Solomon. I could read those all day long.

Watch the short video that describes the technique. Then you can download a free manual that explains how to do it. I healed myself of a physical condition that would have required surgery, by doing this technique.

I live about 10 minutes from Solomon.

I'm in Ft. Wayne (northside) he's in Auburn/Leo (southside)

Last I heard, he was very ill, and not seeing patients. That was in December.

My guess is that you can still get the herbs you need from his shop. If you know what herbs you need, you can probably write him at his address and still get them.

IF YOU are really desperate, I could stop by and see if I can get them for you and mail them to you.

If you are from the midwest (sounds like it if you're 90 min from me), and having the heart palpitations, and having problems fighting off illnesses, my guess would be you have thyroid issues. I am guessing this because I had the same problem 2 months ago.

Almost EVERYONE in the midwest is iodine deficient and they don't know it. (My endocrinologist just told me this two months ago) He didn't even test me for deficiency or anything, he just said: "I'm putting you on a multivitamin with Selenium and Iodoral".

(I had same symptoms you have...blood test ran me $2000 dollars alone...followup blood test(yesterday) = $700)

Take Iodoral with a Mulitvitamin containing Selenium.

My doc put me on the Nutrilite multivitimin with the Iodoral. He personally tested the Nutrilite in his lab to make sure it had the properties he wanted. He doesn't want me taking just ANY vitamin...

I feel much better, and feel like my immunity is much stronger! I have not had fast heart beating since...

He also put me on a HEAVY dose of vitamin D.

Hope this helps!

Along with the heart palpitations, did you ever feel like something was clogged in the middle of your chest? Also, did you get muscle twitches that jumped around to various parts of your body? I did see a reflexologist a couple of months ago and she said I had thyroid problems and put me on some herbs for that.
