The following is what helped me understand this problem, and solve it.

I believe that sex is one of the most powerful forces on this planet, and perhaps the most powerful, and it is the force/cause needed to perpetuate each species.
Every insect, bird, animal, fish and mankind is controlled by sex.

Most of the other species mate at certain cycles and they are part of a natural process which controls, species making.

Mankind is probably the only group which uses sex most often as if it was a recreation, or some kind of sport.

I also believe that SEX is probably the most powerful ADDICTION known.
Its been the source of more violence among people than any other activity.
Maybe the root cause of most crimes is also related to sex somehow.

As soon as that "door" is opened and sex is indulged in, that powerful addiction begins to control the individuals involved.

A lot of wasted time is then spent preparing for and looking for sex. And going through the physical and mind games, when sex is the only goal in a possible relationship.

Unless its done for family making it will more often become a source of problems, even though its lure is "to experience pleasure", experiencing pain is always very close and next in line.


We find ourselves in this world, and none of us who has given this any thought believes we really belong here.
And we don't belong here, we are stuck here until we figure out what to do, and how to do it so we can leave here for good.

The smarter ones figured that out long ago and have given us information of what they used to help them find their way out of here and on our way to where we all really belong.

This world here is a trap for us, and sex is one of the most powerful ways it continues to keep us trapped here.
The manipulators have made sex and porn easily available because they know when one indulges in it their minds are addicted and captured by the manipulators.

Each of us has made an EGO for ourselves, and it is part of our mind, and that EGO is primarily connected to the body.

When one lets themselves become sexual, they are allowing their EGO to direct their "thinking". And they often do things while under the EGO's direction which they will often feel guilty about later.

If you really try to look at your mental process when thinking sexually, you will notice it is as if one was hypnotized and not capable of any real Thinking.
Try it, you will see what I mean.
And under that kind of mental process the most stupid things can be indulged in, because while in that state, one is not in their Right mind.

The other part of our mind is directed by the Holy Spirit, and He was given to us by God to be in our mind so we could have real help and guidance.
But we have to learn to tell the difference between those two parts of our mind, the part we made; the EGO, and the part God gave us; the Holy Spirit.
Check it out for yourself, we are all made the same way in this respect.

We are the DECIDERS of which part of our mind we will let advise us.

Another way I look at it is since I know that sex can be a very powerful addiction, I try to remember this thought;
Do I want to continue to let it have power over me?...or

Do I exercise my will power and with the Holy Spirit’s guidance, I then will have power over it.

Jesus’ Book, ‘A Course In Miracles’, which will help one understand the immediate Help we have available to solve all of our problems.
