Re: THINKING OUT LOUD. (My Journal)
i heard this on the radio and i had to find it and post it here, cuz God's love is too precious to keep hidden and to not share it. i am thankful that God moooooved in my heart and won it, as only He can do, because someone shared His love with me when i hated myself. i cried, realizing that even tho' i didn't love myself, He DID. it broke my heart that He loved me in spite of myself, and that He, like a "horse whisperer" with a "spooked" horse, gently and persistently broke through my defenses, and reached me, to the very recesses of my heart, soul, and mind. And just like the character Will in Good Will Hunting, breaking down in tears, too long buried, in the good professors' arms, i broke down in God's arms.

Sometimes we ALL need to cry.

Just like that.

(God raises/grows beauty from the "ashes" of a devastated, seemingly "dead" life.)

Question of the day (to ponder).

If you were a quadrillionaire, what would you do?

(For reference, quadrillion = 1 billion sets of 1 million dollars.)

Re: THINKING OUT LOUD. (My Journal)
Asking what we'd do with a billion million is almost like asking what is the meaning of life? Where did it all begin even? There are no answers sufficiently valid to give satisfaction to oneself or others under light of critical examination. Each proposal begets another is all you will find.

That said, I think some guiding principles can be suggested if you accept that with a blessing to control one might agree to give thought to permanent impact not transitory reliefs though a cycle of arguments may ensure regardless on that alone.

Still, I'll proceed along that route as I believe it to be the one that benefits the most.

You can not buy things to solve the ills of this world. They do not exist, but you might spread ideas. You might generate knowledge; knowledge is harder to exhaust, curtail, or hold then anything else. Good knowledge can make a difference.

Knowledge can be applicable, e.g. practical, enlightening, e.g. provide understanding and future opportunities, or it can be transformational, e.g. lead us to walk new paths.

Perhaps if I had even a fraction of that money; I would spend even more time to think this through; list priorities of ills and solutions needed even; but I do not.

That said, answering this question in even a small way could lead to a more satisfying focus in one's life; even if one has significant power beyond our own doorstep.
