| robanimator User ID: 842607 12/16/2009 06:33 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I built the Pyramid HDR from his plans, I was using it with the coil wrapped around my head and LOW AND BEHOLD, I heard a loud audible noise similar or exactly like someone plugging a microphone (one of those 1/4 inch mic plugs) into a PA system with the volume all the way up! it sounded like "CHK_KK_CHIC_KHH", you know what it sounds like as a mic plug slowly slides into a blaring speaker system, it makes that connection noise. Well any way, I got so scared that I threw the headgear right off myself and shut the machine and never messed with it ever again. Its one thing to FANTASIZE about moving through time, but its another thing when stuff really starts happening! I mean, I don't want to get lost in another time zone, what if electricity didn't exist? How would I get back? I realized I was playing for the sake of experimentation.. Maybe if I was old and lonely I would build another but I have a life to live, here in the present. Rob True story.. |

But only to go about a week into the future and find out the lotto numbers! Quoting: Anonymous Coward 129376Or, how about taking winning lotto numbers from a few years ago into the past, win the lotto (in the past), put the winnings in interest earning accounts in your name, return to the current time. Damn, I LOVE how you think! lmao ... isn't that from Idiocracy? — read for knowledge, not answers. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 355575 If he goes back to the 1950's or 60's and brings back some fresh packs of BASEBALL CARDS, I'll believe it. But good luck trying to buy them - you're going to need some money from that era, and you'd better be wearing some clothes, shoes and a haircut from that era also. Otherwise just steal the cards and run. It's been done. [link to espn.go.com] But the ones from the attic in the town of Defiance are nearly pristine, untouched for more than a century. The colors are vibrant, the borders crisp and white. Last Edited by Ford44 on 01/17/2013 07:25 PM |
