Asteroid 2007 TU24, due to approach Earth closest on Jan 29th, could be much more dangerous than NASA is willing to admit. Not because it is likely to impact Earth (it isn't) but because of possible electromagnetic reactions with the Earth's magnetosheath or magnetosphere.
Asteroid WD5, due to approach Mars closest the following day, Jan 30, could also exhibit some interesting effects. It is possible, if not likely, that the asteroid picked up some positive ions from Earth's magnetosphere when it came close to us on Nov 2 of last year.

Bear with me, I don't know anything about the electric universe theory or law or whatever it is, I've never heard of it. I understood the bit about a plasma discharge with a near miss of Terra but how big of a charge could an asteroid carry?

The Tunguska meteorite or asteroid is estimated to have been about 10 megatons, about 1,000 times more powerful than the bomb dropped on Hiroshima, Japan.
So, this asteroid is estimated to be about 30x larger than the one 100 years ago but how much more massive it actually is depends upon its composition.
if so (re: electromagnetic reactions), is there a region or a hemisphere more likely to receive the brunt of the charge? would it matter? or would we all be globally 'fvcked'? ...i don't know about this stuff either...
and what's an ETA on when this phenomenon would start showing up? Jan. 27, Jan 28...???
i suppose I'm seeking info on *exactly* how DOOMED we are, ...and I know no one has the Answer....

Didn't the Tungska asteroid enter our atmosphere and explode a mile or so above the ground? How is that, in any way, comparable to an asteroid that won't be entering our atmosphere?

Photograph from Kulik's 1927 expeditionThe Tunguska Event, sometimes called the Tunguska explosion, was a massive explosion that occurred near the Podkamennaya (Lower Stony) Tunguska River in what is now Krasnoyarsk Krai of Russia, at 7:40 a.m. on June 30, 1908 Julian (July 13 on Gregorian calendar).
The explosion was most likely caused by the air burst of a large meteoroid or comet fragment at an altitude of 510 kilometers (36 miles) above Earth's surface.
Different studies yielded varying estimates for the meteor's size, including 30 meters, 50 metres, 60 metres, 90 to 190 metres, and up to 1200 metres in diameter.
Although the meteor or comet is considered to have burst prior to hitting the surface, this event is still referred to as an impact event. Estimates on the energy of the blast include 35 megatons and as high as 30 megatons of TNT.
1015 megatons has been considered the most likely to be accurate[8] about 1,000 times more powerful than the bomb dropped on Hiroshima, Japan.
The explosion felled an estimated 80 million trees over 2,150 square kilometers (830 square miles). It is estimated to have measured 5.0 on the Richter scale.
The Tunguska event is the largest impact event in recent history. An explosion of this magnitude had the potential to devastate large metropolitan areas had it occurred over a large city."

Though ignoring the whole comparison to Tunguska... it would be interesting to know if an asteroid could affect our magnetosphere, and what the repercussions would be.
Anyone want to pay $15 to tell us what this article says ;)

Most excellent video! Thanks for sharing OP...maybe the net / veil will be coming down sooner than many have thought. I have gotten that it was being guided by the One, our Creator and that we will see it in the east. Also that many will fear but it is actually a good thing. This is really mysterious. A few weeks ago a guy named George green was circulating around and I watched it, it had am amazing piece about the Tunguska incident saying it was a nuclear bomb, and now this about a
asteroid. I will look for it and see if I can find it. I think it should be posted here.
He also talked about aliens.
I believe it was this one, I will start skimming through it to see.
Yup, asteroids pass us by daily, some big some small and no electromagnetic doom has filled the air, some people are never satisfied without attaching some imagined fairy dust to a common event, will the OP apologize when nothing happens? nope there will just be another excuse for the failed event.

Concerning the plasma from 2007 TU24topic posted Yesterday, 3:27 PM by Lana
Astronomers hold the theoretical assumption that bodies in space are electrically neutral. An electric comet or asteroid would strike at the foundations of the theoretical sciences. A few months ago, a surprise happened.
On October 24th, 2007, Comet Holmes was the largest object in our solar system. 42% larger than our sun. For no apparent reason, it erupted from a very dim magnitude 17 to about magnitude 2.5 and its coma expanded to 2,000,000 km diameter.
The unpredictable behavior from Comet Holmes can be explained by the breakdown of the plasma sheath that forms around a charged body in space. A plasma sheath insulates the charged body from the charge of the plasma outside it. Across the wall of the sheath, called the "double layer," there is a strong electric field. But when that wall breaks down, the result can be an explosive instability with accompanying electric discharge.
Because of Comet Holmes just a few months ago, scientists are starting to seriously consider the 'electric universe', or plasma cosmology.
Plasma Cosmology acknowledges the electrodynamic nature of all things in the universe. In this non-mechanical view, gavity and inertia are joined by other forces to create the universe we know (and don't know). Plasma is not electrically neutral, but is a superconductor that can carry electrical charges throughout the solar system.
If the asteroid 2007 TU24 is negatively charged like Holmes will it cause adverse reactions when it enters our magnetosphere in a few days? Or has it already come and gone?
I know that low-energy plasma discharges can take many forms: filamentary, toroidal, spiraling, and helical formations. They can even replicate the form of a dragon, which may be where many of our ancient myths come from. You have until 2016 to get your Act together! Be Wise!
