i am not so much in to money market so can some one help me out here please. There is talk of bust bust and bust. this i can understand as shares lose value. However what happens if in two or three days time they gain it back?
I know that different people would lose or make a lot of money but if the market gets back to where it was before then what would that mean for the average man? |

I agree. It is definitely curious. According to the little icons to the left of each market, it is still in premarket but no updates in over 2 hours. |

That would be because cnn money tries as hard as they can to make the actual state of the markets a mystery. Bloomberg is a superior reporting tool. |

It can't be real! The markets went down everyday except one last week and it can't keep on doing this. Maybe its just a computer problem or something. Did a horrible economic report come out or something? I am scared if this is real. That means my dad's stock Intel will hit $15 this week as expected by me. I say this is a year of extreme movements in the stock market both up and down. If we get a 500-1,000 point drop tomorrow, then Wednesday it should go up a lot. If this is real, then we are heading not for just a recession, but a full blown depression. I heard that the markets over seas had their worst day since 9/11. There is no reason for that though. This is the worst year that I remember for stocks since I have been tracking it. How scary! And it is just the first 21 days into the year. |
