I think this is worthy of note:

The battle of the internet "Supermen".

We see it happen almost every time the subjects of Martial arts, fighting or, oddly enough, lovemaking ability comes up on the web.

One person will make a claim, only to have it rapidly "one upped" by someone else.

Your a six Dan in Judo? Well, I'm the only 17 degree black belt in Gracie ju-jistsu history!

And so on.

I have been around a lot of people in my life, and many from the world of fighting have been mixed in. I can safely tell you this, almost no matter how good you think you are, you are not.

That's even before the blatant lying starts, by the way. Most people are not nearly as good at fighting as they would like to believe. (or lovemaking, as crushing as that is to the soul!)

Are there people that good in the world? Maybe.

But I can almost guarantee you they are not having such petty arguments on some fringe posting board about how wonderful they are!

This Super Soldier concept plays right into the same mold, real or not.

We are so used to claims of vast superiority that real claims pale by comparison, and true, but extraordinary claims go unbelieved as well.

This is why we seek proof for claims made. Not extraordinary proof, as the "Debunkers" would have it, just proof that we are not being lied to.

Duncan does not need to fight anyone. We can tell how good or bad he is from a few minutes of raw practice video.

Show us a levitated bucket, or even one just tipped over by your mind!

Turn a rock into diamond for us to look at.

It is not too much to have these people do a little backing up of their claims, is it?

Because without proof, we are back to the internet Supermen idea again.
