David Wilkerson's Economic Vision
Key points to remember about this vision:

3. But the nation will never be like it was before...
4. God is saying: Get our lives straight...Get rid of the idols...Seek the face of God in holiness...
5. God will be a wall of fire about you...And the glory in the midst of you!
It's about to happen---very soon, one nation, and I'm speaking prophetically--if I've ever heard anything from God in my life, I heard it ... Very soon a European or North African or Eastern nation is going to default on its international loan and when that happens, within two weeks, Mexico is going to default. Mexico owes $100 billion ---80% of it to American banks---and here's what is going to happen: about two weeks after the first country goes bankrupt, (we're going to survive that, because most of that (money of the first country) is owed to European banks---German, Swiss and French banks) but a second country is going to go down, probably Argentina or Brazil, and we'll kind of live that down and say: "Well, maybe it's not going to hurt," but two weeks after the first country goes down, Mexico's going to default on $100 billion.
And when the banks open the next day at 9 in the morning, $15 billion an hour is going to be withdrawn from our American banks -they're going to be running our banks---the Arabs---all the Latin American countries, they're going to be running our banks--and before the day is over, the U.S.A is going to have to declare a "bank holiday."
SIX MONTHS OF HORROR:
And we're going into six months of the worst hell America has ever seen---there's going to be chaos---not even the National Guard's going to be able to quiet it down---we're going to have to call out the whole U.S. Army.
Now I've had visions recently, for I've been in New York City and I was in Macy's in a vision, and I saw people walking around stunned because they couldn't get their money out of the bank.
Now I'm going to give you a word of advice, the first country goes bankrupt---I've documented this and I've got it sealed in an envelope, and I'm going to call all my friends and I'm telling you---this is the first time I've said it in a public meeting like this---but the first country that bellies up, you go get every dime you have---church get your money out of the bank--because there's going to be a 'bank holiday' and you won't be able to get a dime for six months. Now, of course, there's going to be -restored, but the nation will never be like it is again.
There's going to be fear like we've never known---judgment at the door. When I was at Macy's Dept. store in a vision and I watched people walking around stunned, they didn't know what to do, they didn't know what was happening; then a bunch of people walked into Macy's and suddenly went wild and began to steal and within an hour everybody---I saw the spirit of everybody in the store---they were robbing and stealing---they raped Macy's and destroyed five floors---Macy's was raped and ruined in a period of an hour or two.
That's just the beginning. Folks it's all in this book (the bible) ---we've been warned and warned and warned---you can't tell me God hasn't warned us. You can't tell me God isn't saying something awesome here tonight in this church...we better get our prayer life straightened up, our lives straightened up, get rid of the idols, as Paul writes, and seeking the face of God in holiness or you're not going to be ready for what's coming. God's warning, get ready and you'll not fear these things that come onto you and you'll start rejoicing, you'll not be afraid because your hands will be clean. You've been praying and God's building a wall of fire around you to keep you."
We'd like to teach you a song about God's protection. It goes like this.: "There's a wall of fire around me...There's a wall of fire between my soul and the enemy. There's a wall of fire that you can't see...Between my soul and the enemy. There's a wall of fire around me. May it be so with us all..." |

I'm never one to point out faults, especially if the perpetuated time hasn't yet passed.
We'll see.
My question is to the fact that there are many issues with your statements. I'm not sure money will do any good in this case. I agree that there needs to be a form to buy and sell. Let's hope nothing like the bible comes up though.
Perhaps this "chaos" will lead to the Amero. I'm just attempting to connect the dots between your God and money. You can't serve them both. |

Please. The observations and conclusions you are making are based on logic and reason and could easily be made, independent of having read the bible. I can clearly see what's coming and I don't need the bible to confirm it.
Good luck taking all your money out of the bank at the first sign of another country's collapse though. Better start doing it NOW in small increments. |

I have read several of David Wilkerson's books and went through his forgotten teenager program 30 yrs. ago and I can say this take what he is saying to the bank!! I will listen to what he has to say before I listen to gossip.Let us pray be appreciative of what we have and not be materalistic and help each other in these trying times. If there was ever a time to get close to God, it is now! We've heard this so much in all of our lifetimes and it sounded religious and manipulative but I am saying this by the Spirit of God. What I heard prophesied and taught by two great spiritual Giants, Sis Rosali and Uncle Chap (in the 70's and 80's) at this well-kept secretive retreat center in the hills of North Carolina. They prophesied that money would fail to have value and that things would evolve to the point that we would have to receive a chip in our foreheads or our hands and we would have to have this in order "to buy or sell". It sounded so far fetched at the time, but it has now come to a head.
I am prophesying by the Spirit of God.
"My people the time has come and I want those of you that I know truly love me to have a heads-up! The money market is about to collapse. It could be within months, possibly days, very possibly hours! that U.S. Government will announce that our money as we know it, no longer exists. Those who had bank accounts in some cases would still show a balance in their accounts and that would be transferred to your personal files, which could only be accessed by you by receiving the chip.
Those that have money in cash or coins will lose out totally because that money will have no value. All those of you who have feared the banking system because you knew it would someday collapse, chose to save your wealth in cash or real estate. Those two entities are about to announce their failure. They have actually already collapsed but it has been covered because they did not want the public to panic and take thier money from the stockmarket. The stockmarket is about to collapse completely, worst than in the 20's. Indy Mac the largest bank has announced their failure and the only one who could bail them out is the government but they were actually backing one another and now they have both failed.
I am not saying this to create fear in you, but for you to begin preparation on survival after this. Those that have learned how to put their hope in me and their faith in me will have a chance of survival. Those who made money their God will not be able to survive.
Seek God for further direction. This is not The End but the beginning of your persecution time, especially in America. It's not based on how holy you think you are, or what you are or are not doing. This is a heart situation and God is the only one who can see that! Church as we know it is about to drastically change and those who learned how to Worship Me shall be able to transition easily but those who have worshipped buildings and cathedrals and man, shall fall away and be in total blindness.
I cannot be found in a building or a location. I am found in you and her and him. This is a time for you to love one another like never before. You will learn to love and appreciate your brothers and sisters and family. You will learn how to help one another and be helped by another and share, even with strangers because by my spirit, you will know who to trust because food will not be your God and you will hear from me because you will no longer over eat.
Know that I am doing this and put your trust toally in me. What are thinking about? Are you thinking about me in every situation in your life. Yes, I am the only one who can deliver you and save you and my desire for you is health and prosperity. Natural is going to be real popular and sought after. Those that have understood the power of my natural resources shall survive the destructions from disease and deadly poisons that have and are being released in the environment through water, food, chemicals and Global Communications.

I read Mr.Wilkerson's book "Vision" long time ago during my high school time. And till today I still remember some parts of his vision, especially about America. Not because I was hoping or expecting the fall of America. Not at all. But because it's interesting to see how the great America would come to the economic crisis. It was just unthinkable to me. Remember the economic turmoil that hit Asia in the 90s? I guess common Americans wouldn't have any idea how this economic crisis had crashed millions of people's lives. I consider myself neutral person, in a sense that I don't quickly accept any so-called vision (especially from those who called themselves "prophet"). Just like the Scripture says that the only litmus test for vision is through its fulfillment. So, after so many years, this week, I started to see the fulfillment of this vision. Who would believe, back then, that "greed" would be officially blamed for this crisis? Sounds like spiritual reason for world problem?
Believe me, it's no joke at all. America needs to repent. God bless you all! |

The first country was ICELAND.
Iceland's three biggest banks are now under de facto government control.
Oct 9: Iceland's bank regulator took control of Kaupthing to keep the banking system functioning.
Oct 7: Iceland's Financial Supervisory Authority takes full control of Landsbanki (the country's 2nd largest bank); meanwhile, government announces that all domestic deposits are fully guaranteed.
Sept 29: Iceland's government took a 75% stake in Glitnir (the country's third-largest bank) when it injected €600mn ($862mn) to help Glitnir with liquidity issues and to enhance stability within the financial system
Analysts: Because Iceland is a small country with extensive cross-shareholdings, if one part collapses, the rest could follow like a house of cards; Icelandic banks helped fund a web of investment firms with stakes in other Icelandic companies.
The balance sheets of Iceland's three largest banks (Glitnir, Kaupthing, and Landsbanki) are about 12 times larger than Iceland's $19 billion GDP.
Iceland's government said it does not plan to hold its share in Glitnir for an extended period.
This turmoil confirms market worries about the ability of Iceland’s banks to withstand the current credit squeeze, given their weak base of deposits at home and their dependence on wholesale funding.
Icelandic kronor has also fallen almost 60% against the dollar this year because of concerns over the island’s faltering economy, large current account deficit and external borrowing; fall of the kronor has added to banks’ problems as it has increased the size of their debt burden. |

Also, Argentina already went belly up.

Mexico spends tenth of foreign reserves to aid peso

MEXICO CITY, Oct 10 (Reuters) - Mexico's central bank made its most aggressive attempt yet to prop up the peso on Friday, ratcheting this week's dollar sales up to a tenth of foreign reserves, as the currency was mauled again.
Faced with a tide of buyers seeking dollars, the central bank sold $6.4 billion on Friday in three auctions, lifting the total sold since Wednesday to $8.9 billion, more than 10 percent of the $84 billion the bank reporting holding as of October 3.
"We have healthy and strong public finances and without them this crisis would have destroyed our economy," President Felipe Calderon said Thursday night in a televised address.
"Unlike in the past, when a lack of dollars led us into terrible crises, today we have foreign reserves of more than $90 billion and we practically have our external debt paid through the next year and a half," he said.
The dramatic intervention by the central bank only partly halted the slide in the peso <MXN=> MEX01 , which fell 4.02 percent to 13.07 per dollar after falling as low as 14.08.
Government bonds were also sharply lower and the stock market dropped nearly 4 percent.
Since the start of September the peso has dived nearly 27 percent while Mexican stocks have fallen 21 percent.
Investors rushed to sell stocks on Friday partly on fears that more companies may suffer the fate of the country's third-largest supermarket operator, which sought bankruptcy protection after it was unable to make debt payments because the peso tumbled.
"It's chaos," said Cesar Villanueva, an analyst at Monex brokerage in Mexico City. "The panic has been much bigger than what the central bank can do," he said.
The latest slide in Mexican financial markets came as global markets were rocked again on Friday by waves of panicked selling amid fears that the spiraling credit crunch could trigger a deep downturn in the global economy.
This week's heavy intervention in currency markets by the central bank is a break with its long-held custom of allowing markets to set the exchange rate. The central bank last sold dollars in large amounts to support the peso during the Russian financial crisis of 1998.
The currency has been battered as international investors as well as local companies have scrambled to secure dollars.
Retail group Comerci (COMEUBC.MX: Quote, Profile, Research, Stock Buzz) and cement giant Cemex (CMXCPO.MX: Quote, Profile, Research, Stock Buzz) both disclosed multimillion dollar losses on derivative and foreign exchange positions on Thursday.
Cemex said it has enough cash on hand to remain in business and that it had no plans to change its capital structure but Comerci was forced into bankruptcy after defaulting on its debt.
Cemex shares tumbled 17.3 percent to 8.70 pesos, weighing heavily on the IPC stock index .MXX , which slid 3.61 percent to a 26-month low of 19,605 points.

The world economists are going to be at loss to explain what's happening. It's going to start in Germany, spread to Japan and finally to the United States."
* There will be a move toward a worldwide, unified monetary system. The US dollar will be hit bad and it will take years for it to recover.
* The only real security will be in real estate (until a somewhat later stage, at which point this apparent security will also disappear).
This was his prophecy from what I understood (first prophesized around 1976.
Please explain how this economic recession started in Germany? And if not how can this prophecy be correct? |
