Quite apart from what's permitted and not permitted, there's a great deal that's moving across their border, and it is common knowledge in the world that Iraq has an enormous appetite for weapons of mass destruction and military capabilities.

Saddam was an ass, he like even gassed his own people...How many Iraqi people did he kill?
Has this war topped it yet with the one million that have died?
Did Saddam kill over 4000? Cause that would be the number of dead US soldiers.
Did Sadam wound a lot of people?
Do you get my point yet?

A Girl -- During the war between Iraq and Iran in the 1980s, an incident occurred in the Kurdish region of Iraq where people had been gassed. This happened in the late 1980s and seemed to be of little consequence to the current Bush administration, as well as the rest of the world. At the time, the United States was supporting Iraq and Saddam in their war against Iran, because it had been concluded that it was better for the US that Iraq, a secular government, to win, rather than for Iran, a religious state, to win. And it was the United States that sold the gas to Saddam in the first place. Don Rumsfeld was the one who negotiated that transaction for the Reagan administration in the 1980s.
Over time, however, the question has emerged as to whether or not it was, in fact, Iraq who gassed the Kurds. There is evidence to suggest that it was the Iranians. But BushCo, including Bush Senior, tried to characterize Saddam as so vile a dictator that he gassed "his own people" for no reason. And that the United States was completely innocent during the Iraq/Iran war. Both assertions are subject to question, however -- which is quite obvious when the history of these events are fully known. |

The amerikan invasion into iraq was and still is ILLEGAL.
The united nations was put aside and with a big middle finger to the international community the amerikans invaded iraq.
The unilateral war of amerika was no different then the german invasion of poland during world war ii, it was no different than Saddam Husayns invasion into kuwait
Based on lies the amerikans are still in iraq and they wont get out.
The amerikans will try to justify their illegal invasion because their economy demands more wars to sustain.
The amerikan people will whine and cry on CNN and everywhere when they lose some dollars and as a result they will support the next war.

Cheney: Well, inspectors aren't the issue. They're a means. The issue, though, is that Saddam Hussein has violated, continues to violate the U.N. Resolution 687 that specifically requires him to get rid of all of his weapons of mass destruction, biological, chemical, and nuclear capabilities, and that he allow international inspection to verify that. The inspectors are just a means. He'll probably want to have a big debate about inspectors. But the real issue over here is getting rid of those materials that he must get rid of in order to come into compliance with the U.N. resolution.

The problem I see—and it's a very serious one—is that there has been a proliferation of weapons of mass destruction. And the terrorist networks have close linkages with terrorist states, the states that are on the worldwide known terrorist list—Iraq, Iran, Libya, Syria, North Korea, one or two others. Now, those countries have been developing weapons of mass destruction for some time. They are testing and weaponize chemical and biological weapons. They are aggressively trying to get nuclear weapons.

Kean and Hamilton are hilarious!
Who will they blame for the Commissions failure to report:
1) That they knew the NORAD officials, including Gen. Richard Myers, were lying to them during their testimony before the Commission;
2) That they excluded any mention of WTC 7 from their report. WTC 7 being the $850 million, 47-story steel-framed building that fell in 6.6 seconds at 5:20pm on 9/11/01 that was not hit by a plane and whose destruction still has not been explained by any government body;
3) on Norman Mineta's testimony, before their very Commission and live on CSPN, that clearly implicates V.P. Cheney in some treasonous behavior;
4) on FBI translator Sibel Edmonds 3 1/2 hours of closed door testimony which she has said connected very well known Americans to the 9/11 operation;
5) on William Rodriguez's 2 1/2 hours of closed door testimony in which he describes massive explosions going off in the sub-basement of the North Tower before the first plane hit;
6) on the numerous military war games and governmental exercises that were going on 9/11/01, many of which were designed to simulate the events that actually occurred, such as hijacked planes being flown into buildings;
7) on Mayor Giuliani's statement to Peter Jennings on live tv that he was warned that the Towers were about to collapse when no one else had any idea that this unprecedented event would occur;
8) that the U.S. Secret Service completely disregarded all standard operating procedures while "protecting" Pres. Bush in the Florida classroom;
9) that Mohammed Atta and many other of the alleged "hijackers" received training on U.S. military bases and were allowed to fly in and out of the U.S. many times leading up to 9/11/01, even though they were on so-called "terrorist watch lists";
10) that the FBI admits that they have "no hard evidence linking bin Laden to the events of 9/11";
11) that the FBI secured and cleared the three main crime scenes (NYC, Pentagon and Shanksville, PA) before doing any kind of proper forensic investigation;
12) the fact that they allowed themselves to be spoon fed information by Philip D. Zelikow, an obvious Bush Administration insider with a clear interest in covering up any administration foreknowledge or complicity and who was allowed to write the absurd and mythical final report.
The msm's complete and total failure to report on any of this is one very large, noisy BAD JOKE.
The truth shall set us free. Love is the only way forward.

I don't put it past Iraq. We know they have been working on this kind of terror weapon, and we keep a very close eye on them. And as the president has said, it is in the first instance we are going after Al Qaeda and Osama bin Laden, and that is the principal focus of our attention; but we recognize there are other regimes that give haven and harbor to terrorist activity, and we will turn our attention to them in due course.

Now, as to Iraq, we didn't need September 11 to tell us that Saddam Hussein is a very dangerous man. We didn't need September 11 to tell us that he's trying to acquire weapons of mass destruction. There could be only one reason that he has not wanted U.N. inspectors in Iraq, and that's so that he can build weapons of mass destruction.

But this particular report I don't want to comment on because I don't want to get into intelligence information, but I will say again, we do not need the events of September 11 to tell us that this is a very dangerous man who is a threat to his own people, a threat to the region and a threat to us because he is determined to acquire weapons of mass destruction.

Trust me lurker, I soooo get that we have messed with so much stuff and supported turds and armed the other countries.
I guess that I'm not so good at sarcasm when it is written. When I vocally say it in conversation I get to put emphasis and silly looks where I want. What I was trying to get at is even if we use the logic that the Bushtards give us, it is still wrong.
In the end, we can claim all we want that we freed the Iraqi people from someone that hurt them, but in reality it was our actions of this war that killed over 4000 of our soldiers, killed a million Iraqi civilians, wounded hundreds of thousands of people, caused disease and starvation across that country. The numbers of what Saddam did is NOTHING to what is going on now. Was he a turd...but who has hurt more people and destroyed more lives.
