I went their once and my steak tasted like sweat. I couldn't finish it and have never gone back. I still call it Outback Sweathouse.

Oh their food tastes so gross!!! What is that weird flavour they put on everything??? I asked the waitress and she said garlic, but there is no way that is garlic. Like, even on the mashed potato and carrots too? Yuk! I won't go there again. Sorry, but the whole place smells like that weird seasoning.

OP - Ingredients list of the foods served! How many dishes have MSG?? Are the steaks marinated in soy/worch. sauce/etc with MSG? What do the large food boxes the stuff comes in say is in the food? Lots of chemical names listed, on average??

Well there is no special thing we put on EVERYTHING. But the GARLIC mashed potatoes do have garlic. The veggies have a seasoning but you can request no seasoning.

We do not marinate steaks/ they are aged to perfection and fresh
All of our dressings, sauces , are homemade not pre made.
We do not add msg to anything ever.
Any manager at any outback will tell you exactly what is in a dish.. just ask!

My daughter worked there until right before christmas and the asshole manager laid her off for no reason. Good thing because she said the place was a deep fry oily mess. Cheese fries, blooming onions, all oily fried garbage.
They would only give the waitresses two tables at a time so there tips for the night were off.
I call the place Outcrap!

so if I move to Australia in a place that has warm weather year round will I be able to enjoy the good food at my local apple bees who are known for their excellent service and good deals on wonderful food

23 people in the kitchen. 1 white guy, 1 american indian, 21 hispanic.
I would say that the personal hygiene is rather good, handwashing is a common practice in my kitchen.
As for the illegal question, I am required to inspect their papers thats it. Are their some who are illegal? (more than likely)

What location? The standard station is 3 tables. Our store does around 6 million a year(dinner only) The servers usually walk home with at least 100 dollars a shift. Usual shift is 5 to 6 hrs and they get min. wage on top of that. Thats pretty good for semi full time work.
Perhaps your daughter didnt tell you the whole story? As for the organization.... its pretty damn good.

Your daughter probably got laid off because she was a SHITTY SERVER. With the average check at Outback ,she should have had no problem making good money because she should have been able to give excellent service to those two tables which would've reflected in her tips. This policy also allows her to turn her
tables quicker adding even more to her earnings. Bottom line..you don't know what the fuck you are talking about.

I could eat outback every day.....

I've never been to an "Outback" steak house......but I can tell you,their steaks CAN'T be as good as mine!
