Let me correct your misunderstandings of Scripture. First of all, Jesus died both in a so-called historical meaning and a spiritual meaning of Dan 9:27. This means that historically Jesus died in the midst of the last seven of 70 seventy sevens, which lasted from 29 AD to 36 AD, and spiritually he died in the midst of 1260 years, which 4 Esdras 7 calls a "week", thus in 666 AD, which is the midst of 1260 years. The end of the 3,5 years in 36 AD is what Acts 13:46 testifies to.

The acceptable year about which Jesus read from Isaiah have both a historical and a spiritual meaning. The spiritual meaning is the one that applies to our time. You can read about this in Hab 3:2, where the prophet reveals that God will start His great work in the midst of NT time:

"O Jehovah, I have heard the report of thee, and am afraid: O Jehovah, revive thy work IN THE MIDST OF THE YEARS; In the midst of the years make it known; In wrath remember mercy." (Hab 3:2 ASV)

This aligns with Zech 11:14, where we read that the Lord cuts asunder his staff BANDS. Since the first staff Beauty in Zech 11:10 is Jesus, everybody ought to know that Bands comes in the NT time, namely in the midst of NT time according to Hab 3:2. He thus also is the BRANCH that comes out of the roots of the SHOOT, who is Jesus in Isa 11:1.

The branch, who is called BANDS, is the one foretold in Rev 20:1, for he starts what Jesus talks about in Matt 19:28. That time and day is the day of vengeance, and God's people partake of it, as you can see from Psalm 149. That day is also the acceptable year, for on it takes REGENERATION place (Matt 19:28).

The two witnesses will not prophesy in the great tribulation but before it starts. Nobody can witness during the tribulation. It is a pentacostalist lie!

I have never heard of McKinney before. Quite an interesting read. But I can more than assure you that he is wrong on a few points.

McKinney states that:

He is mistaken. I can't answer whether he is intentionally deceiving people, but he is most certainly wrong. The world will go on after 2012, with the worst coming much later.

Edward McKinney has as a world expert written a thick book on Daniel the prophet and the book of Revelation which was too expensive for me to buy. And I was in doubt, as well, asking why a book written by a man of God could be that expensive. I hope the true two witnesses will be cheaper when they have a book on such things.

The important information should always be free. There's a distinct advantage to publishing, since it is easier to verify that their prophecies did exist before they occurred. So, there most likely will be two books, provided they can find a publisher and have the time for two.
