Im not sure why I bother. And I worry about posting cause, I may just get kicked and not be able to continue any discussion. But I guess discussion is not going to help.
So I say this anyway.
The Bible may mention the God you yearn for. But it is not that God. It is a flawed book, It may be all you have, But it is not something to worship. Worship the God you yearn for. And Dont be tied by 'The Bible'. It is flawed.
Similarly, it is silly to use it as 'authentification' of your godlyness.
A righteous peacefull people had a God, and a good book. They were conquered by warriors who served a different 'god'. As these things often go. They changed and added stuff to the good book. Added things like blood sacrifice, and death penalties for minor infractions. This was to controll the peacefull peoples they had conquered. Thread: I think I finnaly understand the Bible Conspiracy :)
Jesus came to free those peacefull peopl;e who remained from that Demonic BullShoi. He had to be carefull to be 'politically correct'.
So he said stuff like'I come not to destroy the law, but to fullfill it'
But ya, he came to free the people from those BullPuck Laws! He did little things. He 'worked' on Sunday, for which the old testament punishment is death. And he became more 'extreame'. He turned over the tables of those who were selling the animals for the ritual sacrifice. ('money changers')
And he was Murdered for bucking the establishment just like Kennedy, but it wasnt another freaking demonic sacrifice to save our souls from sin.
It could be said in a manor of speaking to those people back then that he died for their sins. As a rebuke. Like a father could say to his children that he worked all his life to feed and educate them so they could become drunkards. Thread: Some of my thoughts on the life of Jesus. :)
There are beutifull parts of the Bible and Ugly parts. And its hard to make sense of. But by trying to take it as a perfect word, or that it means what you have somewhat arbitrarily decided it does. You are in a Rut.
