That was because it was the Apostles and NOT the two witnesses. The two witnesses will have a license to sin and will torment those of the Earth and will strike them with plagues as much as they desire. They both have very different ministries. They must be mistranslations too. The English scribes believed in that Idolatry too so they must have picked the wrong meanings for those titles of the Son.
