FALSE PROPHETS Matthew 24:5 "For many will come in my name, saying, I am Christ, and will mislead many." They’re so many options for this one. Here are some ideas, though don’t take this as a blanket statement that all people that do these jobs are false prophets. Simply put, these positions would provide an excellent platform to communicate with the masses. “Leaders/Representatives” (Political, Human Rights, Civil Rights, etc…) Reporters/Media Scientists/Doctors Movie/TV Stars Professional Athletes pehJeshuahWhy are you dishonest, if I may ask you? Did I ever say that I am Christ? I did not, so are you still accusing me of it? Do you really tell here that I am a false person? Is that what you mean? If so, in what ways have I been false to you, in spite of being who I am, God's true witness after Rev 11:3? You will, and listen, NEVER BE ABLE TO PROVE IT THAT I AM FALSE like the numerous American TV preahers are, for I will never ask you even for a dime however poor I would be when I meet you. I am at peace with my Lord who called me, and He said to me: Speak, what I do. There is more to it, namely His promise, Whoever hates you I WILL ALSO HATE! You're correct, you haven't come out and said 'You are Christ', my mistake, I picked the wrong verse. How's this one? Matthew 24:24 ~ For false christs and false prophets will arise and perform great signs and wonders, so as to lead astray, if possible, even the elect.Forgive me for being a skeptic, but I've been told to watch out for people like you. Besides, if you are truly one of the two witnesses, you are not supposed to appear until after the "The Abomination of Desolation." Which as far as I can tell, has not occurred yet. I do believe we are very close to this occurring, but it has not yet. Once this occurs the "two witnesses" will begin their ministry for 1260 days. There will however be many "false prophets" that arise near the end times as this is a sign from God to be on the lookout. Also, just because it's stated that the witnesses will anger many and the masses will "rejoice" when they die, does not mean they are going to insult and ridicule people. They will anger many because the witnesses do not agree with the current status quo and will be shaking things up on a world-wide scale. [ link to esv.scripturetext.com]
