Ireland,

As someone who reads this thread, please explain why you have not answered PJ's post to you a few days back.

"Good try, you worm of Satan.

I will ask you about the malefactor on the cross about whom we read in Luke 23:39, who repented and but was not baptized. Did he go to the Paradise or to hell because he lacked baptism by water?

If he went to the Paradise without water baptism, which Jesus said he would, why should it not be possible also for other believers to go to the Paradise without water baptism?

Have you got any good answer to that? Does God divide people into those who are baptized with water and those who are not, the latter group going to hell?

Greetings from
PehJeshuah"

I look forward to your response.

Well because when I refute one bullshit post of his, he will just go onto another and I don't like going around in circles with him. It is a futile effort. He likes to because he is an egocentric git who gets off on trying to show how knowledgeable he is on scripture which is quite funny considering his ignorance on biblical matters. And in regards to the luke scripture, how do we know he was not already baptized before he was put up on that crucifix. We don't. Also, the book of Luke was not written by an inspired Apostle and I believe that story is not mentioned in the Apostolic gospels so I would be wary of it. Also, it still does not take away from my earlier point from John from the Messiah saying unless you are baptized with water, you will not enter into the Kingdom of God.

Because I have Faith that everything that was written in Holy Scripture is for a very specific purpose.....inclusions and exclusions. I believe if natural (literal) water baptism is necessary for salvation, then Christ would have said "you must be baptized first" or God would have inspired Luke to write that this man had received natural water baptism earlier in his Life. Instead, Jesus said:

"Jesus answered him, "Truly I tell you, today you will be with me in paradise." (Luke 23:43)

Just my two cents.

Well in all fairness, that is just your own opinion and does not refute my earlier points. And Christ did say we must be baptized with water. Does it matter if we are baptized with water first or spirit first? No, just that we are baptized with both water and spirit if we want to enter the Kingdom of God. If you reject this and deny it, you are calling the Messiah a liar.

“There was a man of the Pharisees, named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews: The same came to Jesus by night, and said unto him, Rabbi, we know that thou art a teacher come from God: for no man can do these miracles that thou doest, except God be with him. Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born? Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again” (John 3:1-7).

I know the Scripture and I don't deny the truth. I just believe that this Scripture speaks to a spiritual cleansing.
