I know the Scripture and I don't deny the truth. I just believe that this Scripture speaks to a spiritual cleansing.

A spiritual cleansing? But you said this in your last post,

"Because I have Faith that everything that was written in Holy Scripture is for a very specific purpose.....inclusions and exclusions. I believe if natural (literal) water baptism is necessary for salvation, then Christ would have said "you must be baptized first" or God would have inspired Luke to write that this man had received natural water baptism earlier in his Life."

Surely Yeshua would have said it was a 'spiritual cleansing'. But nowhere in scripture is water baptism referred to as a spiritual cleansing. It is your own interpretation and we are commanded this in Deuteronomy,

Ye shall not add unto the word which I command you, neither shall ye diminish ought from it, that ye may keep the commandments of the LORD your God which I command you. Deuteronomy 4:2

Water baptism is always spoken about in the literal sense. True, in a way, it is a spiritual cleansing but that cleansing cannot happen without literal water.

I believe there are two interpretations of the Bible. One: Literal. The other: Spiritual. I believe God did this for a purpose. A specific purpose. That was so they that have not "ears to hear" (those children of the Anti-Christ) will never be able to understand the Spiritual meaning of Word thus, only God's servants or God's people can discern the Spiritual side of the Word. It is by God's grace alone that one is given these ears to hear.

That is just what has been deposited in my heart to believe. I don't care if you agree with it.

Yes, the bible is both literal and metaphorical in some parts but in no way does the bible say that water baptism is spiritual, not once. It was always spoken of in literal terms. Do you deny the Messiahs own words that one cannot enter the kingdom of God unless they have been baptized with water??? Because that is what it sounds like.

I believe in the Scripture and the Word of God. That this is the only truth. But do I believe that literal, natural water is a prerequisite to baptism, no, I don't believe that is what God intended in this Scripture.
