I was supposed to come here and say something along the lines of "The witnesses have arrived, They do not yet know who they are, or that they are the witnesses. They visit the site Godlike."

 Quoting: Rual G. 124430

erm. C'mon!

The two witnesses will be seen at the Wailing Wall, a sacred place and they will be god-like.

The two witnesses are from the Old Testament. They never died. They ascended to heaven and will be back when the anti-crist emerges.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 306940

Doesn't it say they will be slayed in the streets and the people will rejoice over their deaths?

Unlike that ego-centric from Norway, I have no problem admitting I don't know something. I know quite a bit about the word of God but not everything. I know the important stuff, the stuff that matters. And that is all I need to know.

No. I am rebuking false teachings, something we are called to do but I wouldn't expect an ignorant person like you to understand that. And water baptism came from the John the Baptist who was a Prophet of God so that crap you said about it not applying until the Messiah's death is just that, crap. You are just another false teacher who needs to repent, a dime a dozen on this site. Repent!

Ireland,

As someone who reads this thread, please explain why you have not answered PJ's post to you a few days back.

"Good try, you worm of Satan.

I will ask you about the malefactor on the cross about whom we read in Luke 23:39, who repented and but was not baptized. Did he go to the Paradise or to hell because he lacked baptism by water?

If he went to the Paradise without water baptism, which Jesus said he would, why should it not be possible also for other believers to go to the Paradise without water baptism?

Have you got any good answer to that? Does God divide people into those who are baptized with water and those who are not, the latter group going to hell?

Greetings from
PehJeshuah"

I look forward to your response.

Well because when I refute one bullshit post of his, he will just go onto another and I don't like going around in circles with him. It is a futile effort. He likes to because he is an egocentric git who gets off on trying to show how knowledgeable he is on scripture which is quite funny considering his ignorance on biblical matters. And in regards to the luke scripture, how do we know he was not already baptized before he was put up on that crucifix. We don't. Also, the book of Luke was not written by an inspired Apostle and I believe that story is not mentioned in the Apostolic gospels so I would be wary of it. Also, it still does not take away from my earlier point from John from the Messiah saying unless you are baptized with water, you will not enter into the Kingdom of God.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 41811028

"And in regards to the luke scripture, how do we know he was not already baptized before he was put up on that crucifix."

Because I have Faith that everything that was written in Holy Scripture is for a very specific purpose.....inclusions and exclusions. I believe if natural (literal) water baptism is necessary for salvation, then Christ would have said "you must be baptized first" or God would have inspired Luke to write that this man had received natural water baptism earlier in his Life. Instead, Jesus said:

"Jesus answered him, "Truly I tell you, today you will be with me in paradise." (Luke 23:43)

Just my two cents.

 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 2783420

Well in all fairness, that is just your own opinion and does not refute my earlier points. And Christ did say we must be baptized with water. Does it matter if we are baptized with water first or spirit first? No, just that we are baptized with both water and spirit if we want to enter the Kingdom of God. If you reject this and deny it, you are calling the Messiah a liar.

“There was a man of the Pharisees, named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews: The same came to Jesus by night, and said unto him, Rabbi, we know that thou art a teacher come from God: for no man can do these miracles that thou doest, except God be with him. Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born? Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again” (John 3:1-7).
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 41811028

Christ did NEVER say we must be BAPTIZED with water, as you claim, but that we must be BORN of water, as can be seen in John 3:5:

Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.

What water Christ meant, is shown in Eph 5:26:

(..) to make her holy, cleansing her by the washing with water through the word,
 Quoting: The Bible

The meaning of the original Greek text is "through the water that is in the word". This does not mean literal water, for it is not needed, as Paul the apostle also demonstrated in 1 Co 1:17:

For Christ sent me not to baptize, but to preach the gospel: not with wisdom of words, lest the cross of Christ should be made of none effect.
 Quoting: The Bible

In the time period of the everlasting gospel there is no longer any true baptism with water, for baptism is now spiritual, as we can see from the following words: a sea of glass like unto crystal, in Rev 4:6:

And before the throne there was a sea of glass like unto crystal
 Quoting: The Bible

Your water baptism is now out of date, for the spiritual baptism has taken its place.

You'd prefer to debate dogma [especially with that little man who foams at the mouth while he spews hate & rage at everyone. Thought he said he was done with this thread? Oh that's right, he can't make up his demented mind] rather than discuss something basic, that goes to the heart of spirituality that most of us can agree upon?

Don't you see the problem with that PJ? Or are you blinded by by the need to insist that you are right, especially about things that are irrelevant?

Doesn't your bible say not to let your left hand know what the right is doing? Your need to gain attention while ignoring what's important is disturbing.

Peace, Paul.

Same old Ireland who was debunked because you said that the Medes and Persians were the horses going to the north country in Zech 6:8 while the Scripture itself testified that the the horses were the spirits of the heavens and you therefore just a liar and twister of Scripture.

Wow, you impress me, for the apostles of Jesus were always revealing the truth and refuting the lies of Satan whereas you are not bothering about youself having been refuted nor that you have no competence or power to fight me, the true witness of God.

What a shame you are!

Really? lmaonorespect

Give not that which is holy unto the dogs, neither cast ye your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn again and rend you. Matthew 7:6

Another wonderful fail by the biblicaly ignorant imbecile. They are the Messiah's own words, I will follow them rather than the words of an insignificant false teacher/prophet. You are too easy to expose. lmao

Thanks for playing.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 41811028

Since what you call "holy" should not be thrown to the dogs, implying me to be a dog, I will remind you of your very (un)HOLY twisting of Scripture, when you claimed against Scripture that in Zech 6 the white horses going to the north country were the Medes and Persians, while Scripture itself says they are the spirits of the heavens (Zech 6:5).

You were stupid enough to throw to me THAT LIE, such as you now claim to be holy. What a shame you are!

So therefore the word "dog" fits the best as a name for you, you twister:

Beware of dogs, beware of evil workers, beware of the concision.

You are revealed by Scripture to be a dog!!!

I do not discuss dogmas but issues that are badly twisted by all in today's Christendom.

Of course, when that Irish dog attacks the truth I tell people here on GLP I must kill him by the spirit of our Saviour's mouth. We are now living in the days when the false doctrines of the Antichrist will be revealed and refuted by God's word.

I do not insist that I am right but that the truth that God has made plain to me and many others is real truth, not anything like the hogwash of "Ireland".

I have no need of gaining attention for my own sake but for the sake of all those people who seek the Lord today while seeing that today's Christendom is everything opposite of what is God's truth.

What I meant PJ was that my question speaks for itself. You asked for further clarification & I said that my question was very straight forward.

I believe that the Divine is pure, the epitome of Love. Love does not show anger, jealousy, hatred nor any other negative 'human' emotion. Love cannot condemn others to 'eternal torment'. Our Creator is a God of Love not a God of despair or wrath nor a source of pain. We create our own suffering by our actions, as we sow so shall we reap.

My question was if you believe that the All is a God of Love then how can you believe that those who 'get it wrong' will be cast into a Hell of Eternal suffering without any other chance of redemption? Does that clarify?

Although I do see things a bit differently to you PJ, I do agree that we live in a time where the false doctrines of Christianity will be revealed & you too will be in for a rude shock when the day comes.
It is my belief that Christianity will be reduced to nothing more than a cult well before the end of this century. The anti-Christ is any false doctrine & those who wrote [& changed] the Bible over the years motivated by greed to control the masses have much to answer for their actions.

Peace, Paul.

"Nothing comes from the hand of man that did not come from God in the beginning. Yea, man can receive nothing unless it come from God."

And how does this relate to what I said or are you just trying to sound wise or something? Do you think I don't know that? Baptism came from God to John the Baptist. Yes I do disagree with you and am fully in line with the Messiah and the Father. Do you also dispute that water baptism is needed for entry into the Kingdom of God. I don't really get what you are refuting that I have said. How about making things clearer?

"John came in the name of Christ to make way for Him and Christ came in the name of the Father and the Father gave to Christ the testament"

Do you think I don't know that? I don't need you to keep telling me the obvious. Your posts have no substance. You are just repeating things the word of God makes clear already.

"and the testament had no power till He died."

That is an outright false teaching since Christs testimony had much power when he was alive, otherwise, he could not have been recognized as the Messiah. The Messiah gave directions and Commands when he was alive and they certainly were in effect when he was alive. We are still under the law of Moses, just a fulfilled law of Moses that Yeshua said he came not to do away with but to fulfill but I bet you are just another lawless apostate goat entrenched in Mystery Babylon who will deny this exposing yourself for the anti-Christ you are.

"neither mercy, faith, or grace."

You claiming the inspired Apostles did not understand mercy, faith, or grace? Wow, glad you cleared that up. You don't know what you're talking about, do you? You just like to think you do and act like you do.

"If you understood birth by the Spirit you would not be contentious, but would understand that the man on the cross was not baptized by the Spirit nor born of Him because Christ had yet to die. Yea, the Spirit was given after Christ was gone and not before."

As I already stated, I am wary about the book of Luke but even if it was a true testimony, Christ died before the two criminals on the cross so my point still stands.

14 But John forbad him, saying, I have need to be baptized of thee, and comest thou to me?

15 And Jesus answering said unto him, Suffer it to be so now: for thus it becometh us to fulfil all righteousness. Then he suffered him.

16 And Jesus, when he was baptized, went up straightway out of the water: and, lo, the heavens were opened unto him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon him:

17 And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.

And before the throne there was a sea of glass like unto crystal
 Quoting: The Bible

Your water baptism is now out of date, for the spiritual baptism has taken its place.

Greetings from
PehJeshuah
 Quoting: The Bible

"Christ did NEVER say we must be BAPTIZED with water, as you claim, but that we must be BORN of water, as can be seen in John 3:5:

Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God."

They mean the same thing you dishonest weasel.

And I think it's funny and stupid of you to call Saul an Apostle, funny, he isn't mentioned as being one the 12 Apostles and how could he when he never even met Yeshua. He was a disciple and a wicked one at that.

"This does not mean literal water, for it is not needed, as Paul the apostle also demonstrated in 1 Co 1:17:

For Christ sent me not to baptize, but to preach the gospel: not with wisdom of words, lest the cross of Christ should be made of none effect.
 Quoting: The Bible
"

lol how does that prove that literal water is not needed for water baptism. What a weak and idiotic argument.

"In the time period of the everlasting gospel there is no longer any true baptism with water, for baptism is now spiritual, as we can see from the following words: a sea of glass like unto crystal, in Rev 4:6:"

I am glad you have made your views clear for us again. And that is absurd of you to suggest that verse from revelation has anything to do with water baptism. You have strange logic.

Sorry PJ only just noticed your response.

So if you believe that God is Love then how is it possible that He/She will cast those who don't conform to a man made religion into eternal torment?

I would have thought that both my question and your answer are very straight forward & are in no need of further clarification. Simple PJ.
 Quoting: paul777

I've been away PJ & have not noticed a reply in the following few pages so I assume you've dodged my very simple question.

To be born of water is like to be born of the spirit. You are just trying to twist the scripture to weasel out of your public shame and defeat.

After these things came Jesus and his disciples into the land of Judaea; and there he tarried with them, and baptized. John 3:22

Be very careful people, there are some evil liars on this thread, evil anti-Christs who would lead you astray on not just a little insignificant issue, but a hugely important Salvation issue. The Messiah himself said it, it's clear for you all to see, unless a man is born of BOTH water and spirit, he will not enter into the Kingdom of God.

Remember this one from Peter the Apostle,

But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction. And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of. And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you: whose judgment now of a long time lingereth not, and their damnation slumbereth not. 2 Peter 2:1-3

Does this sound like someone you know on this thread,

And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you: whose judgment now of a long time lingereth not, and their damnation slumbereth not.

Yes, he covets that which he has no portion in, which does not belong to him and he feigns sympathy from people on this thread when he knows he has revealed himself to much and feigns humility. Beware of that despicable false teacher/prophet from norway.

"make merchandise of you; deal with the souls of men, as merchants do with their goods, carry them to market and sell them; so false teachers deal with the souls of their followers, draw them, and sell them to Satan, and they themselves pay for it; see Zechariah 11:5 but in the issue, and that in a short time, they will be no gainers by such practices:"

Re: I HAD SOME KIND OF PROPHETIC DREAM ABOUT THE TWO WITNESSES!!? I WAS TOLD TO COME HERE AND POST, PLEASE READ!
Two things disqualify the false prophet from Norway for being one of the two witnesses. We can see from scripture that both will be Levites for they will stand before the Lord and that phrase always related to levites.

Number one disqualification. Norway comes from a heathen people, the sammi. God always uses Israelites for his Prophets/Messengers/Seers.

Number two disqualification.

This is it that belongeth unto the Levites: from twenty and five years old and upward they shall go in to wait upon the service of the tabernacle of the congregation: And from the age of fifty years they shall cease waiting upon the service thereof, and shall serve no more: Numbers 8:24-25

Norway has passed the age to be in service to God as a Levite priest. He is well over 50 years of age.

These are the two olive trees, and the two candlesticks standing before the God of the earth. Revelation 11:4

At that time the LORD separated the tribe of Levi, to bear the ark of the covenant of the LORD, to stand before the LORD to minister unto him, and to bless in his name, unto this day. Deuteronomy 10:8

So reject everything he says because he is just a man with delusions of grandeur. According to the eternal law of God, he could not possibly be one the two witnesses.

Do you really think God would use somebody not of his people, from the House of Israel or the House of Judah, to lead his people, much less be given the honorable role of high priest???

Thou shalt in any wise set him king over thee, whom the LORD thy God shall choose: one from among thy brethren shalt thou set king over thee: thou mayest not set a stranger over thee, which is not thy brother. Deuteronomy 17:15

Do you think God's people would listen to somebody from a heathen people??? You are completely deluded if you think so and it has never happened before in the history of God and his people and would not happen for the climax of it all. You are disqualified from that role you lying viper of Satan. I rest my case. I rebuke your lies as does the word of God!!! I will not let you wiggle out of this one for what I say is in full accordance with the Law/word of God. Forget the baptism stuff and anything else, this is all I need to refute your lies. You have been defeated. lol
