I will now start my writings to you on the contents of Rev 12 beginning with a reference to what is written in Rev 5: 1-4:



The book written within and on the backside is the Bible with its prophecies. The prophesies are visible to man as letter, which is what "on the backside" means. In addition to being written on the backside the prophecies are also "written within", which means that they have a spiritual meaning hidden to man.

The first verse of the book of Revelation reads "The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave him to SHOW unto his servants, even the things which must shortly come to pass: and he sent and signified it by his angel unto his servant John;" and this is why John wept when he heard that no man in heaven, nor in earth, neither under the earth, was able to open the book, neither to look thereon.

Since it was first said that the revelation of Jesus Christ was given to show God's people hidden things John knew when he afterwards heard that no man was found worthy to open and read the book that this unworthiness meant apostacy. That was the reason why he wept.

It is therefore important for all to realize that whoever steps forward to expound the contents of the book of Revelation must first of all reveal the biblical facts that show that he is in the right and position to expound the secrets of the book of Revelation. All of those on GLP who claim to know the true contents of the book of Revelation, are in fact dishonest, and in my next writing I will show you why this is an irrefutable and sad fact!

Dear ExploringTheTruth,

I will now continue my exposition of the twelfth chapter in book of Revelation. As I said in part 1 concerning the contents of chapter 5 John wept when he heard that nobody, not even in heaven (the church on earth), was found worthy to open the seals of the book. Before that he described in the first three chapters what our Lord had revealed to him, which was that the apostolic churches were spiritually dying. On this basis we therefore know that already in late first century AD the opposite spirit of Jesus Christ, namely that of the Antichrist, was already at full work. In chapter 4 John was given to enter an open door to see what belonged to a still later time in the NT time period. That is why he writes these words (Rev 4:2) "And immediately I was in the spirit", for only in the spirit could he see things that belonged in the future. Chapter 4 describes in its spiritual sense the things that must follow when the time period of the falling away is coming to an end, and in chapter 5 we are being told in what manner God reveals the Wicked (2 Thes 2:8) when He again brings the first-born into the world (Heb 1:6) to slay the Antichrist with the breath of His mouth, as said in 2 Thes 2:8. The contents of chapter 6 reveal what and who the Antichrist is, and tells us at the end that a great destruction kills the Wicked one in historical sense. Chapter 7 describes the coming of the man child with the seal of the living God to mark God's servants before the great destruction comes, which is called the great tribulation. The number of those who will be sealed is 144000, and their sealing takes place in the beginning of the time period of the sixth seal, during which God's witnesses work in the Gentile world. The sealed ones are called "the firstfruits" in comparison with those who are called "a great multitude" in Rev 7:9 and will be such who come to faith after the great destruction. In Rev 10:1-6 Scripture takes us back to the time when the man child comes with a little open book, thus being Jesus Christ's spiritual coming through His servant. Only when He comes can the 7 seals of the book be opened and the Antichrist be revealed. This belongs in the Gentile world. Afterwards, when the seventh seal is opened, about which we read in chapter 8:1, the time period of the Jews begins. Then comes a parallell description to the seals, namely the 7 trumpets. We find from Rev 8:2 to the end of that chapter the first four of the 7 trumpets, the rest following in Rev 9:1-14, with Rev 9:15 telling about the same great destruction as did the sixth seal in Rev 6:12-17. We thus see that the 7 seals and the 7 trumpets describe the same things, only with different symbols to make it easier for us to understand them. When the seventh angel sounds the trumpet then comes the time period of the Jews, as shown in Rev 10:7. Rev 10:8-11 applies to one of the two witnesses.

This is what these chapters contain, and I will continue my exposition until we arrive at chapter 12, which is an overview of the whole NT time. We will take a close look at its contents to see that what I say is the truth.

Third part

In part 2 we reached to the contents of chapter 10 in the book of Revelation, and we touched upon the mighty angel who came down from heaven and who was clothed with a cloud. Who is this angel and how can we know the right answer?

When we learn that he has a rainbow upon his head and, in addition, that his face was as it were the sun, and his feet as pillars of fire, we are helped on the way, for part of the description we also find in Rev 1:12-17. Let us therefore read the text:



What do we learn if not that the mighty angel is in a covenant relation with God Almighty, for that is why he has a rainbow upon his head, a token that reminds us of what is said in Gen 9:8-15:



The face of the angel was as it were the sun, so we therefore know that his face and head symbolize Jesus Christ, who is the light of the sun according to Rev 21:23, and his feet that were as pillars of fire mean that God's spirit was the power in which he walked. Since he also had a little open book in his hand, as said in Rev 10:2, we know that this angel is the messenger of God through whom our Lord returns as a thief, which is what the cloud symbolizes. That the book is open means that the seals of the book mentioned in Rev 5:1 are opened and the secrets of it revealed to this messenger, for he is the man child in Rev 12:5 through whom the Lord comes back after the falling away with a new covenant for mankind either to accept or to reject.

That he set his right foot upon the sea, and his left foot on the earth, as seen in Rev 10:2, means that his greater judgment is proclaimed against false religion and the lesser against wordliness, but both will be thrown into the furnace of God's judgment.

What else these things mean I will tell you in my next post, in part 4.

I will now write you more on the contents of chapter 10 and chapter 11 in the book of Revelation. In order that you may see what time period these things cover I will first refer you to an important structural fact given in the book of Revelation, as we can see when we read Rev 9:12-13 and Rev 11:14

(Rev 9:12-13)

(Rev 11:14-15)

The structure shown is that the first woe consists of 5 trumpets, the second woe of the sixth trumpet, and the third woe of the seventh trumpet.

When the sixth seal is opened (Rev 6:12) and the sixth trumpet sounded (Rev 9:14), which are two different descriptions of the same time period, there is added additional information both on the contents of the sixth seal and on the contents of the sixth trumpet, as we can see when we read Rev 10 and Rev 11. These two chapters therefore describe what happens in the time period of the sixth seal and the sixth trumpet, things that take place before the seventh seal is opened and the seventh trumpet sounded. What I say here does not contradict what we read about the seventh angel (trumpet) in Rev 10:7.



This verse does not say that the seventh trumpet was sounded at this stage in biblical history but that it will be sounded in the future.

That the mighty angel in Rev 10:1 swore, as we see in Rev 10:6, that there should be time no longer means that the end time of the beast was come.



What is said in Rev 10:8-11 applies to one of the two witnesses.

I write these things in the hope that you see the structure of the book of Revelation, which will help you a lot when we start looking at the twelfth chapter of the book of Revelation. That we will do next time. The twelfth chapter goes back to the start of NT time and leads us from that time forward even until the end of the NT time.

Next time I will enlarge upon the contents of Rev 12 and show you from elsewhere in the Bible why what I say is true.

Fifth part


Dear ExploringTheTruth,

Let us now look into the twelfth chapter of the book of Revelation and compare what we find with equivalent textes elsewhere in the Bible. We will consider the whole chapter and see where those things belong that we have not yet looked at in depth in chapter 10 and 11, or not even mentioned.



The heaven where there appeared a great wonder is what Scripture calls "Mount Sion" in Heb 12:22-24:



We thus understand that the heaven meant in Rev 12:1 is the foundation of God's apostolic church on earth, which is the Holy Scripture. On this foundation appeared a great wonder, and that wonder was the apostolic church, which Scripture calls a woman and the bride of Jesus Christ. This church was indeed a great wonder through the redemptive work of Jesus Christ. That the woman was clothed with the sun means that her spiritual life was God Himself, as we can see when we read Psalm 84:11:



The moon which was under her feet is the moon which we can read about in Isa 60:20, that it shall not withdraw itself, but continue to give light. This moon is God's holy law, as is said in Prov 6:23:



(Isa 60:20)

The scriptures that I have quoted prove that woman to be the apostolic church, her sun God, and her moon God's law. The moon was under her foot because she was not under the judgment of the law but rather walked on and according to the law, for the law is the city's street of pure gold, as said in Rev 21:21.

The crown of twelve stars on her head is the true gospel that the twelve apostles preached, and that gospel was founded on the woman's head who is Jesus Christ. That the woman being with child cried, travailing in birth, and pained to be delivered means that the apostolic church had to suffer a lot for her faith in Jesus Christ and for preaching the true gospel.

This is what Rev 12:1-2 reveals to us, and in my next post we shall look at the following sign that was seen in heaven, which was not that wonderful.

Dear ExploringTheTruth,

We are now going to look into Rev 12:3-4 which mentions another sign following, that appeared in heaven. Let us first read the biblical text:



As I said in the second part of my exposition the first three chapters of the book of Revelation and the letters sent to the seven churches reveals that the apostolic churches were already being seriously affected by false teahcers at the end of the first century AD.

The final effect of this development was that the book of Revelation, which was given by God "to shew unto his servants things which must shortly come to pass" (Rev 1:1), could no longer be understood by the church, for which it was meant.

What was going on is clearly said by John in 1 John 2:18:



What John writes was also foretold by Jesus in John 9:4:



We therefore ought to understand that the so-called first woe (Rev 9:12), which is described through 5 seals and 5 trumpets, is called a woe because the disastrous falling away of the apostolic church happened in this time period.

From this perspective we can now take a look at what the first seal (Rev 6:1-2) and the first trumpet (Rev 8:7) entail, since they belong to the first woe.


Rev 6:1-2:
And I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seals, and I heard, as it were the noise of thunder, one of the four beasts saying, Come and see. And I saw, and behold a white horse: and he that sat on him had a bow; and a crown was given unto him: and he went forth conquering, and to conquer.

The first seal that the Lamb, who is Jesus Christ, opens reveals the start of the fortold falling away. The noise John heard, as it were the noise of thunder, is the proclamation of truth and the revelation of the contents of this first seal. That noise comes from the foundation of truth, and the one of the four beasts (or living creatures) who said "Come and see!" is one of the two witnesses who are the only ones on earth who can expound these things for people of sincerity to see and believe.

The white horse signifies truth, as ought to be clear from what is written in Rev 19:11:



Since the one sitting on the white horse of the first seal had only one crown he was not Jesus Christ as described in Rev 19:11, but he had, nevertheless, something to do with the true apostolic church, being a teacher who went astray from the truth apostolic faith and doctrine. In doing so he set about the fulfillment of Rev 13:2:



This scripture tells us that the dragon, Satan, placed his power and authority into this process in order to set up his seat where it should not be. As we go on looking into these things we will go back and look more closely at how that power and authority was given, for it is all clearly fortold in Scripture.

The bow of the rider is of the kind that is described in Psalm 37:14:



The rider with only one crown was therefore one who misused his bow in fighting truth instead of falsehood, and he did so with the authority given to him by the dragon. With that authority he could go forth as he did, for there were also ten horns who supported the same cause. Those horns we will learn to know later on in this exposition, as we go on through the entire book of Revelation.

For now, I wish you all the best, for with deep sorrow in my heart I write these things, and what I write is totally true, for God Almighty has testified it all and keeps testifying it in Scripture.

Seventh part

Dear ExploringTheTruth,

Let us now take a look into what the next seal contains, which is the second one in Rev 6:3-4, and which describes what also the second trumpet contains in Rev 8:8-9, only with other symbols:



Remember that what I expound here are particularities that give us more detail on how the falling away could take place and gain momentum as the five first seales were opened, and how the dragon could appear in heaven according to Rev 12:3.

The second beast (or living creature) who said "Come and see!" is one of the two witnesses of Rev 11:3 who is prophetically called Zerubbabel. When the true two witnesses come they will be able to reveal the deception of the Antichrist, who is the son of perdition. This is part of what "Come and see" means! Let us read 2 Thes 2:8:



Zerubbabel means "The one sown of Babel", so the name therefore means, when used of one of the two witnesses in the NT time, that he is of Gentile extraction and not a Jew of birth. This is confirmed also by the fact that both he and the other witness do their work in the time period of the Gentiles, which is that of the sixth trumpet and seal, and which is 1260 years long as we can see from Rev 12:6.

When the Lord returns spiritually through the man child in the midst of the years (Hab 3:2), i.e. in the midst of NT time, to judge the Antichrist He has, according to Hab 3:4, two rays or horns in His hand. These horns are in spiritual meaning the Law and the Gospel. Since the Lord returns in spiritual meaning through a true messenger, this messenger is of course a human being. In the prophecy he is said to be a bastard from Ashdod, as we can see when we read Zech 9:6-7:



So, therefore, what I say is this, that the Law and Gospel are the spiritual rays and horns of our Lord, whereas the foretold two witnesses are the historical horns of the Lord in His appearance through the man child who is of Gentile extraction, which Ashdod means. They are, in other words, such who received the true doctrine from the man child who the Lord raised up from the north in spite of his being a so-called "bastard from Ashdod", i.e. from the Gentile world.

Let us read now and look into what the second seal reveals to us:

Well, then, the second horse, the red one, that went out to take peace from the earth describes what started to happen in the time of Arius. This horse, which also received power from the dragon to make war with the saints, symbolizes the devisive work of false teachers.

We will get back to this happening later in my exposition, when the threads of prophecy are collected to give a clearer picture, but for now, let us contemplate these things that I have written about to you.

Eight part

Dear ExploringTheTruth,

When I wrote to you last time, I made digression in giving you a short summary on the man child (Rev 12:5) and the two witnesses (Rev 11:3), even in spite of writing on the contents of the second seal (Rev 6:3).

The reason is that the secrets of the seven seals and trumpets were, according to Rev 5:3, such that no man was able to unravel. Not until the time period of the sixth seal and sixth trumpet, in which we now live, would it be possible for anyone to understand what the seven seals and trumpets contain, and those who would be the first ones to expound these secrets are the man child and the two witnesses of Rev 11:3.

That is why the two witnesses will be the first two living creatures to say to people: "Come and see!" Later on there will be two more servants of God to say the same, who are two more so-called living creatures of God. Together, the two witnesses and the two other servants of God, who are foretold prophets, will be the four living creatures in Rev 4:6, and they will reveal and destroy the deception and rule of the Antichrist, with the 144.000 saints following them.

In my next post we will therefore take a closer look at the contents of the second seal and compare it with what the two first trumpets of the book of Revelation contain, before we go on in our survey of the book of Revelation.

Ninth part

Dear ExploringTheTruth,

The second seal gives us the view of a red horse the rider of which was given power to take peace from the earth. The peace meant is not such as exists when human beings live together in harmony without killing each other. What Scripture is concerned with is the peace that God gives humankind through the gospel of our Saviour, Jesus Christ, which He had planted in the hearts of men and women in the true apostolic church. The difference of the two kinds of peace, that of the world and that of God, is clearly seen in the following words uttered by Jesus (John 14:27):



The peace that the rider on the red horse attacked and took from the earth had already been attacked by the first rider, who came on his white horse. Since the first horse was white it shows us that its rider came from the true church of God but did not remain in it. How serious that first attack was we can see from what the first trumpet reveals, although with other symbols than those used in the first seal. Let us therefore read Rev 8:7:



What this scripture reveals to us is what Paul the apostle had foretold in Acts 20:30:

Also of your own selves shall men arise, speaking perverse things, to draw away disciples after them.

Yes, this was what started to take place. I have searched through the early church history in the hope to find those men who Paul foretold would speak perverse things, and I have found some of them, two of them being well-known men in church history. Irenaeus, who was the disciple of Polycarp, the disciple of John the apostle, is the first one I have found to speak perverse things. The next person was called Hippolytus. He has himself proved that he was not following the apostolic truth. That I can say from what he writes on things found in the book of Revelation. Irenaeus had a false baptism doctrine. What a shame, having been the disciple of that true man of God, Polycarp.
When the first angel sounded, hail and fire mingled with blood were cast upon the earth. What does it mean? Let me tell you it, for God Almighty has given me the wisdom to expound these secrets to God's people in order that they hide it in their hearts and keep themselves close to their creator. Hail means frozen water, and what else is ice then other than the letter as described in 2 Cor 3:6?



That fire was mingled with hail means that false teachers through their superficial understanding of Scripture made the letter in their own twisted way seem to be fire, i.e. the truth of the Holy Ghost. While doing so they said to people whom they deceived that the blood of Jesus Christ would save them if they would only believe in their mixture of hail and fire. All of it was nevertheless deception, so in this way it took place what is said Rev 8:7:



Think about it, that already at the sounding of the first angel one third of the apostolic church was destroyed!

So, what shall we say about things taking place at the sound of the second angel in Rev 8:8?



You remember that the rider on the red horse took away peace from the earth, and this is what the sounding of the second angel also reveals. The burning mountain symbolizes what happened when the serious schism came about through the teachings of Arius. The result was that another third part of the true church fell away from the apostolic truth, becoming part of the sea of deception. The blood symbolizes spiritual death, so all these things are great tragedies in the history of NT church.

Well, I will come back with more information as given to me by God Almighty in my next exposition. Truth will conquer falsehood and annihilate it!

Tenth part

Dear ExploringTheTruth,

We are looking at the grim happenings taking place during the early NT time which John the apostle mentions as "the last time" in 1 John 2:18:



The last time meant was that of the true apostolic church, so what John the apostle warned about was what also Rev 6:2 foretold:



The crown given to the rider of the white horse was the power mentioned in Rev 13:2:



Yes, through unfaithful teachers Satan managed to sow his seeds of contention in the different churches of early Christianity. It is a sad fact that during the second and third centuries the number of false preachers and teachers increased so much that the voices of God's true servants were no more the foremost to be heard by people.

Let us now look at what the third seal contains, which says this, as found in Rev 6:5-6:



And let us compare it with the contents of the third trumpet in Rev 8:10-11:



Dear people, listen carefully to what I now tell you, for I am indeed the true witness of God speaking to you. I know Scripture better than anyone else on this earth, for God chose me to come forth as one of the four living creatures who say: Come and see! We say so only to the the contents of the first four angels and seals, since the core of the falling away is found in the contents of these four seals and trumpets. This can only be said by a spirit that knows what to be seen, and what to look for. We say so since we know exactly what you should pay attention to instead of listening to the false teachers of this world.

Therefore, be convinced of it, that when the third seal was opened the spirit of the Antichrist managed to destroy the last one third of truth. When it happened it was said:

"A measure of wheat for a penny, and three measures of barley for a penny; and see thou hurt not the oil and the wine."

What does these words mean? Well, dear people, a penny symbolizes the payment a good worker receives after having done a good day's work in the garden of God. Read Mat 20:10 to see it. Wheat is more costly than barley, for it symbolizes God's righteous people. Therefore, "three measures of barley for a penny" are what makes up one measure of wheat. But, alas, it is also said: "hurt not the oil and the wine," which means that those three measures of barley were hurt anyway. How true Scripture is in telling us in this way that there was a total falling away, with three measures of barley being destroyed.

To show you this secret Scripture gives us the contents of Rev 8:10-11:



The great star that fell from heaven was a very important Christian person in early Christianity, being such as had great authority. He was the one who destroyed the third and last measure of barley. His teachings, though being false, made a great impact on people living in his time, one of whom was called Augustine. And since he was Wormwood the consequences of his falling away was disastrous to the generations to come after him. Let me tell you his name, it was Ambrosius. He paved the way for the little horn that was foretold to come.

Eleventh part

Dear ExploringTheTruth,

Last time we spoke about the contents of the third seal and the third trumpet. What these seal and trumpet reveal is that during their time period the apostolic church and doctrine were totally overcome by false teachers and preachers. In other words, during the time period of the third seal and the third trumpet, which are parallell prophetic discriptions, the great red dragon succeeded in its war that it was given to make with the saints according to Rev 13:7:



The war meant was the spiritual war between truth and falsehood. The three measures of barley that we find in the contents of the third seal symbolize God's true apostolic church and doctrine. With each of the first three seals and trumpets one third of the sound apostolic truth was spoiled, so when the last one third was destroyed during the time period of the third seal and trumpet the true church and congregation of God was also completely destroyed, i.e. overcome by the beast.

In other words, at that time the words of Jesus in John 9:4 were fulfulled:



Since it was a spiritual night no man could work, for truth had departed from the church, and it had become a fallen away church. In spiritual meaning this is what Isa 59:14 foretells:



"There was no man", Isaiah says in Es 59:16, and those words mean that nobody could anymore tell what God's true and saving gospel was, and expound it to people. His words are echoed in Rev 5:3:



The heaven meant where no man could open the seals of truth is the fallen away church, for in spite of it having the Scripture it did not understand the Scripture, for "truth had fallen in the street", as Isaiah had foretold. Nevertheless, this changed church kept using the Scripture as though it still were in the right to do so, and even claimed that Scripture was its foundation, in spite of all the twistings by which its teachers and preachers corrupted the truth. In this way did the great red dragon become the sign that was seen in heaven, i.e. where it should not be (Psalm 50:16):



These words mean "What right is given to you that you should be in heaven?" No, there was no such right given to the wicked by God, so they were in heaven only by the "right" that the dragon had given to them according to Rev 13:2.

In my last post I promised that we will look into the contents of the third trumpet. While we are doing so we will also compare its contents with what the third seal reveals. Let me first quote Rev 8:10-11:



As I have said earlier the great star that fell from heaven was an important person in the Christian church. Scripture shows that originally he was standing on sound biblical ground, namely on the truth of Holy Scripture. But, alas, there happened something that made him deviate from the sound path of truth. And when it happened he was still believed to be a lamp, for people did no see that he was going astray. He was burning with ardor though deceived by the devil, and therefore he influenced so many people. With his steps of deviation from the true doctrine of God he made people follow himself instead of the Scripture, and he became wormwood in that manner, defiling Scripture with his twistings. The last streams of truth, a third part, were thus polluted.

And now we shall compare these things with what the third seal contains in Rev 6:5-6:



The black horse symbolizes the spiritual night which Jesus had foretold would come. The pair of balances in the hand of the rider symbolizes the false claim of the pope to having the so-called keys of heaven in his hand. The three measures of barley for a penny compared to the measure of wheat for a penny reveals that the pair of balances were false, for in measuring three measures of barley nobody can rightfully make barley to be equivalent to wheat. That is what we see when we read about the unjust steward in Luke 16:1-13:



The unjust steward symbolizes the pope while the rich man symbolizes the Lord. That the Lord called the steward and revealed to him that he would have to give an account of his stewardship means that especially through the two witnesses of Rev 11:3 the pope will be informed that he will be judged by the Lord because of his unjust dealings with Scripture.

Before we go on with the story about the unjust steward we will summarize the contents of the first three seals. The pope is the rider of the black horse in the time of the third seal and the third trumpet. It all started with the rider of the white horse in Rev 6:2, i.e. in the time of the first seal. In spite of it being said that he rode on a white horse, which symbolizes truth, he was given a crown, and that reveals him, for all God's people are said to already have a crown because they believe in the true gospel of Jesus Christ. That is what Jesus says in Rev 3:10-11. The crown that was was given to the rider on the white horse must, therefore, be of the power, seat, and authority that the devil gives when people err from the true gospel of God (Rev 13:2). Therefore, during the time of the first seal people started to speak "perverse things" (Acts 20:30), as foretold by Paul the apostle, and because of that the color of the rider's white horse also started to change despite the biblical fact that he went forth conquering, and to conquer. In the time of the second seal the horse's color was changed to red, and during the time of the third seal it had finally become black. With that seal's black horse in mind we can now go on considering the unjust steward.

Jesus tells us what the unjust steward will do when dealing with the rich man's debtors. We therefore knows that 1) He makes a hundred measures of oil into fifty measures of oil, thus making fifty measures equivalent to a hundred measures, and 2) He makes a hundred measures of wheat equivalent to eighty measures of wheat, thus making eighty measures of wheat equivalent to a hundred measures. This is what the three measures of barley mentioned in the third seal also signify, for as what should be a measure of hundred of wheat and oil was instead made into a measure of fifty and eighty, so the worth of God's people, who are called "the wheat" in Luke 3:17, and their true gospel were reduced by false teachers when they both added their own perverse things to Scripture and took away from the Scripture what all people need for their spiritual welfare and life. This is what Rev 22:18-19 warns against:



Nevertheless, God did not in His love for His true people let those false teachers corrupt the original scriptures, and that is what is meant in Rev 6:6:



God has preserved Scripture through the spiritual night and has not allowed the pope and his likes to adulterate the oil and the wine, which symbolize Scripture and the fact that it is given by inspiration of God, as said in 2 Tim 3:16:



Dear you, there are two more seals and trumpets that are, together with the third seal and trumpet, directly concerned with the tragedy of the apostolic church and its falling away, namely the fourth seal and the fifth, as well as the fourth trumpet and the fifth trumpet. With the third seal and trumpet came the spiritual night, with no man being able to speak the truth, so when we look into the contents of the third, fourth and fifth seals and trumpets we will have a more detailed description of that great red dragon which forced its way into heaven. As we keep going on with our survey we will see a clear picture of the secrets found in the book of Revelation.

In my next post we will therefore look into the secrets of the fourth and the fifth both seal and trumpet. The red dragon and the beast will as a consequence be showed clearly to you with solid evidence from Scripture and human history.

Twelfth part

Dear ExploringTheTruth,

It may seem strange that I who promised to expound the twelfth chapter of the book of Revelation go on speaking about the seals and the trumpets instead of constraining myself to that chapter only.

The reason is that the twelfth chapter of the book of Revelation describes the NT history of God's people from the beginning to the end. It is like a spiritual map, showing the true apostolic church, with details of its main events found elsewhere in the book of Revelation. Since we were reading in Rev 12:3 about the great red dragon which had seven heads and ten horns, we needed more detailed information on it found at other places in the book of Revelation. Much of that information is given to us in the contents of the first five seals and trumpets, as will be clear when we have looked into all of them, so that is why I make a detour via these seals and trumpets before going on with my exposition of the twelwth chapter of the book of Revelation.

Therefore, let us now look into both the fourth seal and the fourth trumpet. Their contents are based on what was fulfilled in the time of the third seal and the third trumpet, when the last third of the apostolic church was overcome by falsehood and the spiritual night came. During the time of these events the pope rose to power and became the first head of the beast of Rev 13:1, for because of him the beast was given a terminus a quo, which is the number 666, as we will see later in my exposition. On this first head of the beast are the ten horns of the beast, a biblical and historical fact that we will return to later. But first, let us read about the fourth seal in Rev 6:7-8:



The rider on the pale horse is explained to be Death, with Hell following him. Why is he Death if not because he rides in the time of the night during which nobody should be able to work, as Jesus said? In Zech 1:8 we read about the angel of the Lord that he stood among the myrtle-trees, even though it is said that it was seen in the night (Zech 1:8). The Lord's angel stood but the rider of the pale horse kept moving. What Zech 1 reveals I will expound later at its due place in my exposition. The fourth part that the pale horse rider was given power over is the Lutheran faith and church(es), for the Lutheran churches make up about one fourth of the fallen away Christendom. The rider is therefore Martin Luther, and that will be proven in more detail as we go on in our survey. The sword that killed was the letter of Scripture, for when it is not truthfully expounded and understood it kills souls. The hunger meant is that when falsehood and twistings of Scripture is what feed people they will die of spiritual starvation. The death meant is spiritual death, for whoever is deceived is indeed spiritually dead. The beasts on earth are every single false teacher and preacher of Lutheranism, i.e. all of them, for they ride in the night and are not seen by people because of the spiritual darkness.

And now, let us compare these things with what the fourth trumpet reveals in Rev 8:12-13:



Dear you who care to know the truth, listen, for what I say you will find to be true if you keep considering all things in truthfulness. The fourth angel who sounded the trumpet is Martin Luther. What he sounded was heard in the dark night and foretold in 4 Esdras 5:4:



"After the third trumpet" means that it would happen in the time of the fourth trumpet. When Martin Luther started his work, revealing much of the falsehood of the pope and his church, it were as though the spiritual sun again was shining, even in the night! But, alas, since the moon, which symbolizes the holy law of God, did not shine more than thrice a day, we know that what seemed bright in those days was still not the full truth. Martin Luther started out on the right path when he saw and understood some of the enormities of the the papal church and even dared to criticize them, but, nevertheless, on his way towards truth he went astray and became therefore, sadly enough, a head of the beast.

Martin Luther's teachings lacked one third of the gospel and the law and were therefore very similar to the three measures of barley at one penny, as though they were for that reason equal to wheat. The angel heard, the one flying through
the midst of heaven, saying with a loud voice, Woe, woe, woe etc., was in one sense the person called Miguel Serveto who condemned both Catholics and Protestants alike.

Thirteenth part

In this part of my exposition of the book of Revelation we will look into the contents of the fifth seal and the fifth trumpet that describe the last time period of the beast found in Rev 12:3.

Before doing so, I repeat that according to Scripture the pope became the first head of the beast during the time period of the third seal and the third trumpet, wheras Martin Luther became another head of the beast during the time period of the fourth seal and the fourth trumpet, both being major heads of the beast.

When we read Ezekiel 16:1-4 we find one of the Bible's descriptions of these two major heads:



In this biblical text, when we look into its spiritual meaning, Jerusalem symbolizes Lutheranism. We hear it being said "Son of man, etc.", which means that this secret is revealed to the man child of Rev 12:5 in the spiritual coming of Jesus Christ through him. The man child, therefore, is the messenger of God to whom, as foretold in Rev 2:17, it is given to open the seals of the book that according to Rev 5:1 was written within and on the backside. In doing so he learns that this Jerusalem is from the Gentile world, from Canaan, having an Amorite father and a Hittite mother. That Jerusalem is of the land of Canaan means that both Luther and Lutheranism are of the land of the Antichrist, the fallen away Christianity. Luther's father is the pope, who is an Amorite, and Luther's mother is a Hittite, which is the false doctrine of the Catholic church. What happened when Luther and Lutheranism were born is explained in this way:



That the naval was not cut means that the bond between Luther and the false doctrine of the Catholic church remained in spite of its having seemingly been cut. That he was not washed in water means that the water of life hidden in Holy Scripture (Eph 5:26) was not found by him to be cleansed with.

That he was not salted either, means, as we learn from Mark 9:47, that God's law could not kill his Old Man, which is demanded by God and fulfilled by the law as seen in Rom 7:9:

For I was alive without the law once: but when the commandment came, sin revived, and I died. (Rom 7:9 KJV)

Therefore Luther was not swaddled in the white robe of Jesus Christ but became instead a head of Lutheranism and Protestantism. We read in Isa 9:15 what such a head as Luther is:

All this biblical secret has been hidden for a long time because of the spiritual night, but now is the morning come and what is hidden is starting to be revealed, as foretold in 2 Thes 2:3:

...


There is still much to be said on these things about Luther but since we will later return to Luther when reading Rev 13, I think we can now look into the contents of the fifth seal and the fifth trumpet, comparing it later with the contents of the fifth trumpet.

What the fifth seal contains we find in Rev 6:9-10:

The contents of this seal shows us that in this time period there will be people on earth who hold the true testimony of God. The spiritual night continues, so these people are not welcome to give their testimony of the true doctrine and faith, so therefore they are spiritually killed. But there is a question to be answered in this connection, namely: Why were there people at this time who held the true testimony in spite of the spiritual night concealing everything? The answer is found in Zech 14:7:

The day which is said to be known to the Lord is a day in the spiritual sense, when truth returns to earth. It arrives as "regeneration" (Mat 19:28) while falsehood still covers the earth, so it overlaps the last part of the spiritual night. In other words, the gist of this secret is that the Lord comes "as a thief in the night" (2 Pet 3:10) without anybody knowing it. Nevertheless, "at evening time", i.e. when the end is come to falsehood, it will be light.

So, therefore, the man child comes before the 1260 year night of the beast's domination has ended, and during this time of not being day nor night our Lord gave a white robe to all those who cried to Him about the injustice they suffered because they had not taken the mark of the beast. He answered to them that there were still others who would also be killed like them. The blood of these two groups will, as Scripture reveals, be avenged in the time period of the sixth seal and the sixth trumpet. That is the reason why those under the altar were told to "rest yet for a little season".

Since this is already quite a lot for you to read I will leave out my exposition on the contents of the fifth trumpet for now and instead come back in my next post.

Forteenth part

Let us now read and contemplate the contents of the fifth trumpet in Rev 9:1-11:

This trumpet is the last one of what I will call three general descriptions of the spiritual night, so when we have gone through this biblical text we can proceed to what is more specifically written about the beast in Revelation 13:1-18, which symbolizes the night. When we have learned from the contents of the fifth trumpet and from the thirteenth chapter of the book of Revelation we are in quite a good position to go on with what is written in Revelation 12, to see what Scripture foretells to follow.

When the fifth trumpet was sounded there was seen a star from heaven, but it was fallen unto the earth. This star symbolizes somebody who had become an influential personage in fallen away Christianity. He lived in the eighteenth century, as revealed by a prophecy. This spiritually fallen star became a key person by the medium of whom Satan opened the pit of the abyss. In what way did he do this if not by initiating his false doctrine in which preachers and missionaries where educated to be sent out to deceive people by fallacies? His name is John Wesley.

The smoke that went up from the pit is the darkening lies of hell, so out of these lies there came a new sort of army, one that intended to propagate these lies to the whole earth.

Notice that out of this smoke there came hordes of locusts, and locusts, as we know, are such creatures as destroy crops. So did also these locusts, for they symbolize first and foremost false teachers and missionaries that did, and still do, whatever they can to compass sea and land to make one proselyte, and when he is made, they make him twofold more the child of hell than yourselves, as Jesus said in Mat 23:15. These locusts received power to spread all over the world as so-called missonaries, and that power they received from Satan, but Rev 9:4 tells us that God Almighty set a limit to their power:

What is described as being green symbolizes God's people, those who in the fifth seal (Rev 6:9) are said to be the souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held, namely those who were under the alter. That they were and are under the alter means that they belong to the true church, which is the alter. Since the alter had been turned into one that honoured the Antichrist, God's people were said to be under the alter, shouting to God that He should avenge their blood. They were no longer part of the alter that were in the time period of the fifth seal and the fifth trumpet, for only the "roots" of the true alter were left, as can be seen in Isa 11:1, so therefore they were under that alter, keeping themselves to the roots.

Let us now look at the locusts, what they look like and what all their looks mean, as they are described in Rev 9:7-10:

The horses symbolizes false spirits, each with a crown, for no false spirit can be said to have more crowns, which is possible only for the king og kings, Jesu Christ. Each of these horses got a crown only when they received the power of falsehood from Satan, so their crowns were of the night. Their crowns were, as it were, like gold, which means that they were not gold in reality, or, in other words, truth in reality. That their faces were as the faces of men means that they were supposed to men but they had become children of hell in the way Jesus says in Mat 23:15.

That they had the hair of women is a symbol revealing to us that they made believe that they were the bride of Jesus Christ, without it being true.

In the Bible "hair" is very much used in symbolic meaning, and I think it will be useful for you to hear why this is the case.

Let us first quote what is said in 1 Cor 11:14:

Wow, what does this mean? Before I comment on this as it is given to me to do by God we may look at what is said about the woman in 1 Cor 11:15.

...


The words of Paul must be understood to be shadows that lead us to the true spiritual understanding. So, what does hair mean, if we read what is said in Prov 20:29:

...


Don't you see that "the gray head" means somebody who has done what is right in his or her life, for otherwise there would be no beauty about his or her hair?

To be short, let me therefore refer to the woman as mankind, or every single human being, whether man or woman, for in the gospel we are supposed to be the bride of Jesus Christ, his woman, so our hair is therefore whatever good He, our saviour does in us, through us, and for us. Why so? Well, we have heard about another power in us that is called the Old Man, and about him it is said that "if a man have long hair, it is a shame unto him," and this means that if you as man allows your Old Man to have long hair it will be a shame to you, since he is your head in you. That the man's hair shall be cut means symbolically that you and I must let the law of God cut the hair of the Old Man, not letting him have any fruit in us.

Why so? Because Jesus Christ is the only one that we ought to accept as our head. About his hair this is symbolically said in Lev 19:27:

This means that since our true head is Jesus Christ, or at least should be Jesus Christ, we cannot determine how the hair on our head, i.e. His work in us, should be, for He is our head and we not His, so we cannot round the corners of His head.

So, therefore, though the locusts had the hair of women they were far from being the bride of Jesus Christ. If they had been they would not have teeth that were as they were teeth of lions. That they had breastplates as it were of iron means that they were brutal and far from being God's loving people, for otherwise their breastplates would be "breastplates of righteousness", as seen in Eph 6:14:

That the sound of their wings were as the sound of chariots, of many horses rushing to war, reveals that all this was and is the army of Satan, for the wings of God's cherubim have quite another sound, about which we read in Ezek 1:24:

Listen and pay heed to it that the noice of the wings of God's cherubim are like the voice of the Almighty! What else can this mean if not that the voice of the wings of God's cherubim are according to Holy Scripture?

The tails that were like scorpions mean that these people were false, as can be seen in Isa 9:15:

...


So these locust were false from the beginning to the end! It is also said about them that they have tails like unto scorpions, and stings; and in their tails is their power to hurt men five months. What does this mean?

Dear people, the five months mean 150 years in the Bible's time reckoning, so these scorpions were allowed to sting people with their falsehood, giving them bad conscience and the fear of judgment, but without giving them relief in the truth and grace of God. Therefore they could go on until the end of the time period of the beast, which should last from 666 AD to 1926 AD. That the locusts hurt people without killing them, as is said in Rev 9:6, is another very important thing to understand:

What it means is this: No man can die to the law without first realizing what the true gospel of God is and, in doing so, giving his or her Old Man to be salted with salt. This is what Rom 7:4 is all about:

Dear people, you who seek the truth of God, this is the truth that these seals and trumpets contain, so blessed is whoever sees and accepts it as the word of God!

I my next post I will expound the thirteenth chapter of the book of Revelation before returning to the twelfth chapter and go on with my exposition on that chapter.

First part

I will now start my writings to you on the contents of Rev 12 beginning with a reference to what is written in Rev 5: 1-4:



The book written within and on the backside is the Bible with its prophecies. The prophesies are visible to man as letter, which is what "on the backside" means. In addition to being written on the backside the prophecies are also "written within", which means that they have a spiritual meaning hidden to man.

The first verse of the book of Revelation reads "The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave him to SHOW unto his servants, even the things which must shortly come to pass: and he sent and signified it by his angel unto his servant John;" and this is why John wept when he heard that no man in heaven, nor in earth, neither under the earth, was able to open the book, neither to look thereon.

Since it was first said that the revelation of Jesus Christ was given to show God's people hidden things John knew when he afterwards heard that no man was found worthy to open and read the book that this unworthiness meant apostacy. That was the reason why he wept.

It is therefore important for all to realize that whoever steps forward to expound the contents of the book of Revelation must first of all reveal the biblical facts that show that he is in the right and position to expound the secrets of the book of Revelation. All of those on GLP who claim to know the true contents of the book of Revelation, are in fact dishonest, and in my next writing I will show you why this is an irrefutable and sad fact!

Second part

Dear ExploringTheTruth,

I will now continue my exposition of the twelfth chapter in book of Revelation. As I said in part 1 concerning the contents of chapter 5 John wept when he heard that nobody, not even in heaven (the church on earth), was found worthy to open the seals of the book. Before that he described in the first three chapters what our Lord had revealed to him, which was that the apostolic churches were spiritually dying. On this basis we therefore know that already in late first century AD the opposite spirit of Jesus Christ, namely that of the Antichrist, was already at full work. In chapter 4 John was given to enter an open door to see what belonged to a still later time in the NT time period. That is why he writes these words (Rev 4:2) "And immediately I was in the spirit", for only in the spirit could he see things that belonged in the future. Chapter 4 describes in its spiritual sense the things that must follow when the time period of the falling away is coming to an end, and in chapter 5 we are being told in what manner God reveals the Wicked (2 Thes 2:8) when He again brings the first-born into the world (Heb 1:6) to slay the Antichrist with the breath of His mouth, as said in 2 Thes 2:8. The contents of chapter 6 reveal what and who the Antichrist is, and tells us at the end that a great destruction kills the Wicked one in historical sense. Chapter 7 describes the coming of the man child with the seal of the living God to mark God's servants before the great destruction comes, which is called the great tribulation. The number of those who will be sealed is 144000, and their sealing takes place in the beginning of the time period of the sixth seal, during which God's witnesses work in the Gentile world. The sealed ones are called "the firstfruits" in comparison with those who are called "a great multitude" in Rev 7:9 and will be such who come to faith after the great destruction. In Rev 10:1-6 Scripture takes us back to the time when the man child comes with a little open book, thus being Jesus Christ's spiritual coming through His servant. Only when He comes can the 7 seals of the book be opened and the Antichrist be revealed. This belongs in the Gentile world. Afterwards, when the seventh seal is opened, about which we read in chapter 8:1, the time period of the Jews begins. Then comes a parallell description to the seals, namely the 7 trumpets. We find from Rev 8:2 to the end of that chapter the first four of the 7 trumpets, the rest following in Rev 9:1-14, with Rev 9:15 telling about the same great destruction as did the sixth seal in Rev 6:12-17. We thus see that the 7 seals and the 7 trumpets describe the same things, only with different symbols to make it easier for us to understand them. When the seventh angel sounds the trumpet then comes the time period of the Jews, as shown in Rev 10:7. Rev 10:8-11 applies to one of the two witnesses.

This is what these chapters contain, and I will continue my exposition until we arrive at chapter 12, which is an overview of the whole NT time. We will take a close look at its contents to see that what I say is the truth.

Third part

Dear ExploringTheTruth,

In part 2 we reached to the contents of chapter 10 in the book of Revelation, and we touched upon the mighty angel who came down from heaven and who was clothed with a cloud. Who is this angel and how can we know the right answer?

When we learn that he has a rainbow upon his head and, in addition, that his face was as it were the sun, and his feet as pillars of fire, we are helped on the way, for part of the description we also find in Rev 1:12-17. Let us therefore read the text:



What do we learn if not that the mighty angel is in a covenant relation with God Almighty, for that is why he has a rainbow upon his head, a token that reminds us of what is said in Gen 9:8-15:



The face of the angel was as it were the sun, so we therefore know that his face and head symbolize Jesus Christ, who is the light of the sun according to Rev 21:23, and his feet that were as pillars of fire mean that God's spirit was the power in which he walked. Since he also had a little open book in his hand, as said in Rev 10:2, we know that this angel is the messenger of God through whom our Lord returns as a thief, which is what the cloud symbolizes. That the book is open means that the seals of the book mentioned in Rev 5:1 are opened and the secrets of it revealed to this messenger, for he is the man child in Rev 12:5 through whom the Lord comes back after the falling away with a new covenant for mankind either to accept or to reject.

That he set his right foot upon the sea, and his left foot on the earth, as seen in Rev 10:2, means that his greater judgment is proclaimed against false religion and the lesser against wordliness, but both will be thrown into the furnace of God's judgment.

What else these things mean I will tell you in my next post, in part 4.

Fourth part

I will now write you more on the contents of chapter 10 and chapter 11 in the book of Revelation. In order that you may see what time period these things cover I will first refer you to an important structural fact given in the book of Revelation, as we can see when we read Rev 9:12-13 and Rev 11:14

(Rev 9:12-13)

(Rev 11:14-15)

The structure shown is that the first woe consists of 5 trumpets, the second woe of the sixth trumpet, and the third woe of the seventh trumpet.

When the sixth seal is opened (Rev 6:12) and the sixth trumpet sounded (Rev 9:14), which are two different descriptions of the same time period, there is added additional information both on the contents of the sixth seal and on the contents of the sixth trumpet, as we can see when we read Rev 10 and Rev 11. These two chapters therefore describe what happens in the time period of the sixth seal and the sixth trumpet, things that take place before the seventh seal is opened and the seventh trumpet sounded. What I say here does not contradict what we read about the seventh angel (trumpet) in Rev 10:7.



This verse does not say that the seventh trumpet was sounded at this stage in biblical history but that it will be sounded in the future.

That the mighty angel in Rev 10:1 swore, as we see in Rev 10:6, that there should be time no longer means that the end time of the beast was come.



What is said in Rev 10:8-11 applies to one of the two witnesses.

I write these things in the hope that you see the structure of the book of Revelation, which will help you a lot when we start looking at the twelfth chapter of the book of Revelation. That we will do next time. The twelfth chapter goes back to the start of NT time and leads us from that time forward even until the end of the NT time.

Next time I will enlarge upon the contents of Rev 12 and show you from elsewhere in the Bible why what I say is true.

Fifth part


Dear ExploringTheTruth,

Let us now look into the twelfth chapter of the book of Revelation and compare what we find with equivalent textes elsewhere in the Bible. We will consider the whole chapter and see where those things belong that we have not yet looked at in depth in chapter 10 and 11, or not even mentioned.



The heaven where there appeared a great wonder is what Scripture calls "Mount Sion" in Heb 12:22-24:



We thus understand that the heaven meant in Rev 12:1 is the foundation of God's apostolic church on earth, which is the Holy Scripture. On this foundation appeared a great wonder, and that wonder was the apostolic church, which Scripture calls a woman and the bride of Jesus Christ. This church was indeed a great wonder through the redemptive work of Jesus Christ. That the woman was clothed with the sun means that her spiritual life was God Himself, as we can see when we read Psalm 84:11:



The moon which was under her feet is the moon which we can read about in Isa 60:20, that it shall not withdraw itself, but continue to give light. This moon is God's holy law, as is said in Prov 6:23:



(Isa 60:20)

The scriptures that I have quoted prove that woman to be the apostolic church, her sun God, and her moon God's law. The moon was under her foot because she was not under the judgment of the law but rather walked on and according to the law, for the law is the city's street of pure gold, as said in Rev 21:21.

The crown of twelve stars on her head is the true gospel that the twelve apostles preached, and that gospel was founded on the woman's head who is Jesus Christ. That the woman being with child cried, travailing in birth, and pained to be delivered means that the apostolic church had to suffer a lot for her faith in Jesus Christ and for preaching the true gospel.

This is what Rev 12:1-2 reveals to us, and in my next post we shall look at the following sign that was seen in heaven, which was not that wonderful.

We are now going to look into Rev 12:3-4 which mentions another sign following, that appeared in heaven. Let us first read the biblical text:



As I said in the second part of my exposition the first three chapters of the book of Revelation and the letters sent to the seven churches reveals that the apostolic churches were already being seriously affected by false teahcers at the end of the first century AD.

The final effect of this development was that the book of Revelation, which was given by God "to shew unto his servants things which must shortly come to pass" (Rev 1:1), could no longer be understood by the church, for which it was meant.

What was going on is clearly said by John in 1 John 2:18:



What John writes was also foretold by Jesus in John 9:4:



We therefore ought to understand that the so-called first woe (Rev 9:12), which is described through 5 seals and 5 trumpets, is called a woe because the disastrous falling away of the apostolic church happened in this time period.

From this perspective we can now take a look at what the first seal (Rev 6:1-2) and the first trumpet (Rev 8:7) entail, since they belong to the first woe.


Rev 6:1-2:
And I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seals, and I heard, as it were the noise of thunder, one of the four beasts saying, Come and see. And I saw, and behold a white horse: and he that sat on him had a bow; and a crown was given unto him: and he went forth conquering, and to conquer.

The first seal that the Lamb, who is Jesus Christ, opens reveals the start of the fortold falling away. The noise John heard, as it were the noise of thunder, is the proclamation of truth and the revelation of the contents of this first seal. That noise comes from the foundation of truth, and the one of the four beasts (or living creatures) who said "Come and see!" is one of the two witnesses who are the only ones on earth who can expound these things for people of sincerity to see and believe.

The white horse signifies truth, as ought to be clear from what is written in Rev 19:11:



Since the one sitting on the white horse of the first seal had only one crown he was not Jesus Christ as described in Rev 19:11, but he had, nevertheless, something to do with the true apostolic church, being a teacher who went astray from the truth apostolic faith and doctrine. In doing so he set about the fulfillment of Rev 13:2:



This scripture tells us that the dragon, Satan, placed his power and authority into this process in order to set up his seat where it should not be. As we go on looking into these things we will go back and look more closely at how that power and authority was given, for it is all clearly fortold in Scripture.

The bow of the rider is of the kind that is described in Psalm 37:14:



The rider with only one crown was therefore one who misused his bow in fighting truth instead of falsehood, and he did so with the authority given to him by the dragon. With that authority he could go forth as he did, for there were also ten horns who supported the same cause. Those horns we will learn to know later on in this exposition, as we go on through the entire book of Revelation.

For now, I wish you all the best, for with deep sorrow in my heart I write these things, and what I write is totally true, for God Almighty has testified it all and keeps testifying it in Scripture.

Seventh part

Dear ExploringTheTruth,

Let us now take a look into what the next seal contains, which is the second one in Rev 6:3-4, and which describes what also the second trumpet contains in Rev 8:8-9, only with other symbols:



Remember that what I expound here are particularities that give us more detail on how the falling away could take place and gain momentum as the five first seales were opened, and how the dragon could appear in heaven according to Rev 12:3.

The second beast (or living creature) who said "Come and see!" is one of the two witnesses of Rev 11:3 who is prophetically called Zerubbabel. When the true two witnesses come they will be able to reveal the deception of the Antichrist, who is the son of perdition. This is part of what "Come and see" means! Let us read 2 Thes 2:8:



Zerubbabel means "The one sown of Babel", so the name therefore means, when used of one of the two witnesses in the NT time, that he is of Gentile extraction and not a Jew of birth. This is confirmed also by the fact that both he and the other witness do their work in the time period of the Gentiles, which is that of the sixth trumpet and seal, and which is 1260 years long as we can see from Rev 12:6.

When the Lord returns spiritually through the man child in the midst of the years (Hab 3:2), i.e. in the midst of NT time, to judge the Antichrist He has, according to Hab 3:4, two rays or horns in His hand. These horns are in spiritual meaning the Law and the Gospel. Since the Lord returns in spiritual meaning through a true messenger, this messenger is of course a human being. In the prophecy he is said to be a bastard from Ashdod, as we can see when we read Zech 9:6-7:



So, therefore, what I say is this, that the Law and Gospel are the spiritual rays and horns of our Lord, whereas the foretold two witnesses are the historical horns of the Lord in His appearance through the man child who is of Gentile extraction, which Ashdod means. They are, in other words, such who received the true doctrine from the man child who the Lord raised up from the north in spite of his being a so-called "bastard from Ashdod", i.e. from the Gentile world.

Let us read now and look into what the second seal reveals to us:

Well, then, the second horse, the red one, that went out to take peace from the earth describes what started to happen in the time of Arius. This horse, which also received power from the dragon to make war with the saints, symbolizes the devisive work of false teachers.

We will get back to this happening later in my exposition, when the threads of prophecy are collected to give a clearer picture, but for now, let us contemplate these things that I have written about to you.

Eight part

Dear ExploringTheTruth,

When I wrote to you last time, I made digression in giving you a short summary on the man child (Rev 12:5) and the two witnesses (Rev 11:3), even in spite of writing on the contents of the second seal (Rev 6:3).

The reason is that the secrets of the seven seals and trumpets were, according to Rev 5:3, such that no man was able to unravel. Not until the time period of the sixth seal and sixth trumpet, in which we now live, would it be possible for anyone to understand what the seven seals and trumpets contain, and those who would be the first ones to expound these secrets are the man child and the two witnesses of Rev 11:3.

That is why the two witnesses will be the first two living creatures to say to people: "Come and see!" Later on there will be two more servants of God to say the same, who are two more so-called living creatures of God. Together, the two witnesses and the two other servants of God, who are foretold prophets, will be the four living creatures in Rev 4:6, and they will reveal and destroy the deception and rule of the Antichrist, with the 144.000 saints following them.

In my next post we will therefore take a closer look at the contents of the second seal and compare it with what the two first trumpets of the book of Revelation contain, before we go on in our survey of the book of Revelation.

Ninth part

Dear ExploringTheTruth,

The second seal gives us the view of a red horse the rider of which was given power to take peace from the earth. The peace meant is not such as exists when human beings live together in harmony without killing each other. What Scripture is concerned with is the peace that God gives humankind through the gospel of our Saviour, Jesus Christ, which He had planted in the hearts of men and women in the true apostolic church. The difference of the two kinds of peace, that of the world and that of God, is clearly seen in the following words uttered by Jesus (John 14:27):



The peace that the rider on the red horse attacked and took from the earth had already been attacked by the first rider, who came on his white horse. Since the first horse was white it shows us that its rider came from the true church of God but did not remain in it. How serious that first attack was we can see from what the first trumpet reveals, although with other symbols than those used in the first seal. Let us therefore read Rev 8:7:



What this scripture reveals to us is what Paul the apostle had foretold in Acts 20:30:

Also of your own selves shall men arise, speaking perverse things, to draw away disciples after them.

Yes, this was what started to take place. I have searched through the early church history in the hope to find those men who Paul foretold would speak perverse things, and I have found some of them, two of them being well-known men in church history. Irenaeus, who was the disciple of Polycarp, the disciple of John the apostle, is the first one I have found to speak perverse things. The next person was called Hippolytus. He has himself proved that he was not following the apostolic truth. That I can say from what he writes on things found in the book of Revelation. Irenaeus had a false baptism doctrine. What a shame, having been the disciple of that true man of God, Polycarp.
When the first angel sounded, hail and fire mingled with blood were cast upon the earth. What does it mean? Let me tell you it, for God Almighty has given me the wisdom to expound these secrets to God's people in order that they hide it in their hearts and keep themselves close to their creator. Hail means frozen water, and what else is ice then other than the letter as described in 2 Cor 3:6?



That fire was mingled with hail means that false teachers through their superficial understanding of Scripture made the letter in their own twisted way seem to be fire, i.e. the truth of the Holy Ghost. While doing so they said to people whom they deceived that the blood of Jesus Christ would save them if they would only believe in their mixture of hail and fire. All of it was nevertheless deception, so in this way it took place what is said Rev 8:7:



Think about it, that already at the sounding of the first angel one third of the apostolic church was destroyed!

So, what shall we say about things taking place at the sound of the second angel in Rev 8:8?



You remember that the rider on the red horse took away peace from the earth, and this is what the sounding of the second angel also reveals. The burning mountain symbolizes what happened when the serious schism came about through the teachings of Arius. The result was that another third part of the true church fell away from the apostolic truth, becoming part of the sea of deception. The blood symbolizes spiritual death, so all these things are great tragedies in the history of NT church.

Well, I will come back with more information as given to me by God Almighty in my next exposition. Truth will conquer falsehood and annihilate it!

Tenth part

Dear ExploringTheTruth,

We are looking at the grim happenings taking place during the early NT time which John the apostle mentions as "the last time" in 1 John 2:18:



The last time meant was that of the true apostolic church, so what John the apostle warned about was what also Rev 6:2 foretold:



The crown given to the rider of the white horse was the power mentioned in Rev 13:2:



Yes, through unfaithful teachers Satan managed to sow his seeds of contention in the different churches of early Christianity. It is a sad fact that during the second and third centuries the number of false preachers and teachers increased so much that the voices of God's true servants were no more the foremost to be heard by people.

Let us now look at what the third seal contains, which says this, as found in Rev 6:5-6:



And let us compare it with the contents of the third trumpet in Rev 8:10-11:



Dear people, listen carefully to what I now tell you, for I am indeed the true witness of God speaking to you. I know Scripture better than anyone else on this earth, for God chose me to come forth as one of the four living creatures who say: Come and see! We say so only to the the contents of the first four angels and seals, since the core of the falling away is found in the contents of these four seals and trumpets. This can only be said by a spirit that knows what to be seen, and what to look for. We say so since we know exactly what you should pay attention to instead of listening to the false teachers of this world.

Therefore, be convinced of it, that when the third seal was opened the spirit of the Antichrist managed to destroy the last one third of truth. When it happened it was said:

"A measure of wheat for a penny, and three measures of barley for a penny; and see thou hurt not the oil and the wine."

What does these words mean? Well, dear people, a penny symbolizes the payment a good worker receives after having done a good day's work in the garden of God. Read Mat 20:10 to see it. Wheat is more costly than barley, for it symbolizes God's righteous people. Therefore, "three measures of barley for a penny" are what makes up one measure of wheat. But, alas, it is also said: "hurt not the oil and the wine," which means that those three measures of barley were hurt anyway. How true Scripture is in telling us in this way that there was a total falling away, with three measures of barley being destroyed.

To show you this secret Scripture gives us the contents of Rev 8:10-11:



The great star that fell from heaven was a very important Christian person in early Christianity, being such as had great authority. He was the one who destroyed the third and last measure of barley. His teachings, though being false, made a great impact on people living in his time, one of whom was called Augustine. And since he was Wormwood the consequences of his falling away was disastrous to the generations to come after him. Let me tell you his name, it was Ambrosius. He paved the way for the little horn that was foretold to come.

We will speak more about that secret in the next post.

Eleventh part

Dear ExploringTheTruth,

Last time we spoke about the contents of the third seal and the third trumpet. What these seal and trumpet reveal is that during their time period the apostolic church and doctrine were totally overcome by false teachers and preachers. In other words, during the time period of the third seal and the third trumpet, which are parallell prophetic discriptions, the great red dragon succeeded in its war that it was given to make with the saints according to Rev 13:7:



The war meant was the spiritual war between truth and falsehood. The three measures of barley that we find in the contents of the third seal symbolize God's true apostolic church and doctrine. With each of the first three seals and trumpets one third of the sound apostolic truth was spoiled, so when the last one third was destroyed during the time period of the third seal and trumpet the true church and congregation of God was also completely destroyed, i.e. overcome by the beast.

In other words, at that time the words of Jesus in John 9:4 were fulfulled:



Since it was a spiritual night no man could work, for truth had departed from the church, and it had become a fallen away church. In spiritual meaning this is what Isa 59:14 foretells:



"There was no man", Isaiah says in Es 59:16, and those words mean that nobody could anymore tell what God's true and saving gospel was, and expound it to people. His words are echoed in Rev 5:3:



The heaven meant where no man could open the seals of truth is the fallen away church, for in spite of it having the Scripture it did not understand the Scripture, for "truth had fallen in the street", as Isaiah had foretold. Nevertheless, this changed church kept using the Scripture as though it still were in the right to do so, and even claimed that Scripture was its foundation, in spite of all the twistings by which its teachers and preachers corrupted the truth. In this way did the great red dragon become the sign that was seen in heaven, i.e. where it should not be (Psalm 50:16):



These words mean "What right is given to you that you should be in heaven?" No, there was no such right given to the wicked by God, so they were in heaven only by the "right" that the dragon had given to them according to Rev 13:2.

In my last post I promised that we will look into the contents of the third trumpet. While we are doing so we will also compare its contents with what the third seal reveals. Let me first quote Rev 8:10-11:



As I have said earlier the great star that fell from heaven was an important person in the Christian church. Scripture shows that originally he was standing on sound biblical ground, namely on the truth of Holy Scripture. But, alas, there happened something that made him deviate from the sound path of truth. And when it happened he was still believed to be a lamp, for people did no see that he was going astray. He was burning with ardor though deceived by the devil, and therefore he influenced so many people. With his steps of deviation from the true doctrine of God he made people follow himself instead of the Scripture, and he became wormwood in that manner, defiling Scripture with his twistings. The last streams of truth, a third part, were thus polluted.

And now we shall compare these things with what the third seal contains in Rev 6:5-6:



The black horse symbolizes the spiritual night which Jesus had foretold would come. The pair of balances in the hand of the rider symbolizes the false claim of the pope to having the so-called keys of heaven in his hand. The three measures of barley for a penny compared to the measure of wheat for a penny reveals that the pair of balances were false, for in measuring three measures of barley nobody can rightfully make barley to be equivalent to wheat. That is what we see when we read about the unjust steward in Luke 16:1-13:



The unjust steward symbolizes the pope while the rich man symbolizes the Lord. That the Lord called the steward and revealed to him that he would have to give an account of his stewardship means that especially through the two witnesses of Rev 11:3 the pope will be informed that he will be judged by the Lord because of his unjust dealings with Scripture.

Before we go on with the story about the unjust steward we will summarize the contents of the first three seals. The pope is the rider of the black horse in the time of the third seal and the third trumpet. It all started with the rider of the white horse in Rev 6:2, i.e. in the time of the first seal. In spite of it being said that he rode on a white horse, which symbolizes truth, he was given a crown, and that reveals him, for all God's people are said to already have a crown because they believe in the true gospel of Jesus Christ. That is what Jesus says in Rev 3:10-11. The crown that was was given to the rider on the white horse must, therefore, be of the power, seat, and authority that the devil gives when people err from the true gospel of God (Rev 13:2). Therefore, during the time of the first seal people started to speak "perverse things" (Acts 20:30), as foretold by Paul the apostle, and because of that the color of the rider's white horse also started to change despite the biblical fact that he went forth conquering, and to conquer. In the time of the second seal the horse's color was changed to red, and during the time of the third seal it had finally become black. With that seal's black horse in mind we can now go on considering the unjust steward.

Jesus tells us what the unjust steward will do when dealing with the rich man's debtors. We therefore knows that 1) He makes a hundred measures of oil into fifty measures of oil, thus making fifty measures equivalent to a hundred measures, and 2) He makes a hundred measures of wheat equivalent to eighty measures of wheat, thus making eighty measures of wheat equivalent to a hundred measures. This is what the three measures of barley mentioned in the third seal also signify, for as what should be a measure of hundred of wheat and oil was instead made into a measure of fifty and eighty, so the worth of God's people, who are called "the wheat" in Luke 3:17, and their true gospel were reduced by false teachers when they both added their own perverse things to Scripture and took away from the Scripture what all people need for their spiritual welfare and life. This is what Rev 22:18-19 warns against:



Nevertheless, God did not in His love for His true people let those false teachers corrupt the original scriptures, and that is what is meant in Rev 6:6:



God has preserved Scripture through the spiritual night and has not allowed the pope and his likes to adulterate the oil and the wine, which symbolize Scripture and the fact that it is given by inspiration of God, as said in 2 Tim 3:16:



Dear you, there are two more seals and trumpets that are, together with the third seal and trumpet, directly concerned with the tragedy of the apostolic church and its falling away, namely the fourth seal and the fifth, as well as the fourth trumpet and the fifth trumpet. With the third seal and trumpet came the spiritual night, with no man being able to speak the truth, so when we look into the contents of the third, fourth and fifth seals and trumpets we will have a more detailed description of that great red dragon which forced its way into heaven. As we keep going on with our survey we will see a clear picture of the secrets found in the book of Revelation.

In my next post we will therefore look into the secrets of the fourth and the fifth both seal and trumpet. The red dragon and the beast will as a consequence be showed clearly to you with solid evidence from Scripture and human history.

Twelfth part

Dear ExploringTheTruth,

It may seem strange that I who promised to expound the twelfth chapter of the book of Revelation go on speaking about the seals and the trumpets instead of constraining myself to that chapter only.

The reason is that the twelfth chapter of the book of Revelation describes the NT history of God's people from the beginning to the end. It is like a spiritual map, showing the true apostolic church, with details of its main events found elsewhere in the book of Revelation. Since we were reading in Rev 12:3 about the great red dragon which had seven heads and ten horns, we needed more detailed information on it found at other places in the book of Revelation. Much of that information is given to us in the contents of the first five seals and trumpets, as will be clear when we have looked into all of them, so that is why I make a detour via these seals and trumpets before going on with my exposition of the twelwth chapter of the book of Revelation.

Therefore, let us now look into both the fourth seal and the fourth trumpet. Their contents are based on what was fulfilled in the time of the third seal and the third trumpet, when the last third of the apostolic church was overcome by falsehood and the spiritual night came. During the time of these events the pope rose to power and became the first head of the beast of Rev 13:1, for because of him the beast was given a terminus a quo, which is the number 666, as we will see later in my exposition. On this first head of the beast are the ten horns of the beast, a biblical and historical fact that we will return to later. But first, let us read about the fourth seal in Rev 6:7-8:



The rider on the pale horse is explained to be Death, with Hell following him. Why is he Death if not because he rides in the time of the night during which nobody should be able to work, as Jesus said? In Zech 1:8 we read about the angel of the Lord that he stood among the myrtle-trees, even though it is said that it was seen in the night (Zech 1:8). The Lord's angel stood but the rider of the pale horse kept moving. What Zech 1 reveals I will expound later at its due place in my exposition. The fourth part that the pale horse rider was given power over is the Lutheran faith and church(es), for the Lutheran churches make up about one fourth of the fallen away Christendom. The rider is therefore Martin Luther, and that will be proven in more detail as we go on in our survey. The sword that killed was the letter of Scripture, for when it is not truthfully expounded and understood it kills souls. The hunger meant is that when falsehood and twistings of Scripture is what feed people they will die of spiritual starvation. The death meant is spiritual death, for whoever is deceived is indeed spiritually dead. The beasts on earth are every single false teacher and preacher of Lutheranism, i.e. all of them, for they ride in the night and are not seen by people because of the spiritual darkness.

And now, let us compare these things with what the fourth trumpet reveals in Rev 8:12-13:



Dear you who care to know the truth, listen, for what I say you will find to be true if you keep considering all things in truthfulness. The fourth angel who sounded the trumpet is Martin Luther. What he sounded was heard in the dark night and foretold in 4 Esdras 5:4:



"After the third trumpet" means that it would happen in the time of the fourth trumpet. When Martin Luther started his work, revealing much of the falsehood of the pope and his church, it were as though the spiritual sun again was shining, even in the night! But, alas, since the moon, which symbolizes the holy law of God, did not shine more than thrice a day, we know that what seemed bright in those days was still not the full truth. Martin Luther started out on the right path when he saw and understood some of the enormities of the the papal church and even dared to criticize them, but, nevertheless, on his way towards truth he went astray and became therefore, sadly enough, a head of the beast.

Martin Luther's teachings lacked one third of the gospel and the law and were therefore very similar to the three measures of barley at one penny, as though they were for that reason equal to wheat. The angel heard, the one flying through
the midst of heaven, saying with a loud voice, Woe, woe, woe etc., was in one sense the person called Miguel Serveto who condemned both Catholics and Protestants alike.

Thirteenth part

In this part of my exposition of the book of Revelation we will look into the contents of the fifth seal and the fifth trumpet that describe the last time period of the beast found in Rev 12:3.

Before doing so, I repeat that according to Scripture the pope became the first head of the beast during the time period of the third seal and the third trumpet, wheras Martin Luther became another head of the beast during the time period of the fourth seal and the fourth trumpet, both being major heads of the beast.

When we read Ezekiel 16:1-4 we find one of the Bible's descriptions of these two major heads:



In this biblical text, when we look into its spiritual meaning, Jerusalem symbolizes Lutheranism. We hear it being said "Son of man, etc.", which means that this secret is revealed to the man child of Rev 12:5 in the spiritual coming of Jesus Christ through him. The man child, therefore, is the messenger of God to whom, as foretold in Rev 2:17, it is given to open the seals of the book that according to Rev 5:1 was written within and on the backside. In doing so he learns that this Jerusalem is from the Gentile world, from Canaan, having an Amorite father and a Hittite mother. That Jerusalem is of the land of Canaan means that both Luther and Lutheranism are of the land of the Antichrist, the fallen away Christianity. Luther's father is the pope, who is an Amorite, and Luther's mother is a Hittite, which is the false doctrine of the Catholic church. What happened when Luther and Lutheranism were born is explained in this way:



That the naval was not cut means that the bond between Luther and the false doctrine of the Catholic church remained in spite of its having seemingly been cut. That he was not washed in water means that the water of life hidden in Holy Scripture (Eph 5:26) was not found by him to be cleansed with.

That he was not salted either, means, as we learn from Mark 9:47, that God's law could not kill his Old Man, which is demanded by God and fulfilled by the law as seen in Rom 7:9:



Therefore Luther was not swaddled in the white robe of Jesus Christ but became instead a head of Lutheranism and Protestantism. We read in Isa 9:15 what such a head as Luther is:



All this biblical secret has been hidden for a long time because of the spiritual night, but now is the morning come and what is hidden is starting to be revealed, as foretold in 2 Thes 2:3:



There is still much to be said on these things about Luther but since we will later return to Luther when reading Rev 13, I think we can now look into the contents of the fifth seal and the fifth trumpet, comparing it later with the contents of the fifth trumpet.

What the fifth seal contains we find in Rev 6:9-10:



The contents of this seal shows us that in this time period there will be people on earth who hold the true testimony of God. The spiritual night continues, so these people are not welcome to give their testimony of the true doctrine and faith, so therefore they are spiritually killed. But there is a question to be answered in this connection, namely: Why were there people at this time who held the true testimony in spite of the spiritual night concealing everything? The answer is found in Zech 14:7:



The day which is said to be known to the Lord is a day in the spiritual sense, when truth returns to earth. It arrives as "regeneration" (Mat 19:28) while falsehood still covers the earth, so it overlaps the last part of the spiritual night. In other words, the gist of this secret is that the Lord comes "as a thief in the night" (2 Pet 3:10) without anybody knowing it. Nevertheless, "at evening time", i.e. when the end is come to falsehood, it will be light.

So, therefore, the man child comes before the 1260 year night of the beast's domination has ended, and during this time of not being day nor night our Lord gave a white robe to all those who cried to Him about the injustice they suffered because they had not taken the mark of the beast. He answered to them that there were still others who would also be killed like them. The blood of these two groups will, as Scripture reveals, be avenged in the time period of the sixth seal and the sixth trumpet. That is the reason why those under the altar were told to "rest yet for a little season".

Since this is already quite a lot for you to read I will leave out my exposition on the contents of the fifth trumpet for now and instead come back in my next post.

Forteenth part

Dear ExploringTheTruth,

Let us now read and contemplate the contents of the fifth trumpet in Rev 9:1-11:



This trumpet is the last one of what I will call three general descriptions of the spiritual night, so when we have gone through this biblical text we can proceed to what is more specifically written about the beast in Revelation 13:1-18, which symbolizes the night. When we have learned from the contents of the fifth trumpet and from the thirteenth chapter of the book of Revelation we are in quite a good position to go on with what is written in Revelation 12, to see what Scripture foretells to follow.

When the fifth trumpet was sounded there was seen a star from heaven, but it was fallen unto the earth. This star symbolizes somebody who had become an influential personage in fallen away Christianity. He lived in the eighteenth century, as revealed by a prophecy. This spiritually fallen star became a key person by the medium of whom Satan opened the pit of the abyss. In what way did he do this if not by initiating his false doctrine in which preachers and missionaries where educated to be sent out to deceive people by fallacies? His name is John Wesley.

The smoke that went up from the pit is the darkening lies of hell, so out of these lies there came a new sort of army, one that intended to propagate these lies to the whole earth.

Notice that out of this smoke there came hordes of locusts, and locusts, as we know, are such creatures as destroy crops. So did also these locusts, for they symbolize first and foremost false teachers and missionaries that did, and still do, whatever they can to compass sea and land to make one proselyte, and when he is made, they make him twofold more the child of hell than yourselves, as Jesus said in Mat 23:15. These locusts received power to spread all over the world as so-called missonaries, and that power they received from Satan, but Rev 9:4 tells us that God Almighty set a limit to their power:



What is described as being green symbolizes God's people, those who in the fifth seal (Rev 6:9) are said to be the souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held, namely those who were under the alter. That they were and are under the alter means that they belong to the true church, which is the alter. Since the alter had been turned into one that honoured the Antichrist, God's people were said to be under the alter, shouting to God that He should avenge their blood. They were no longer part of the alter that were in the time period of the fifth seal and the fifth trumpet, for only the "roots" of the true alter were left, as can be seen in Isa 11:1, so therefore they were under that alter, keeping themselves to the roots.

Let us now look at the locusts, what they look like and what all their looks mean, as they are described in Rev 9:7-10:



The horses symbolizes false spirits, each with a crown, for no false spirit can be said to have more crowns, which is possible only for the king og kings, Jesu Christ. Each of these horses got a crown only when they received the power of falsehood from Satan, so their crowns were of the night. Their crowns were, as it were, like gold, which means that they were not gold in reality, or, in other words, truth in reality. That their faces were as the faces of men means that they were supposed to men but they had become children of hell in the way Jesus says in Mat 23:15.

That they had the hair of women is a symbol revealing to us that they made believe that they were the bride of Jesus Christ, without it being true.

In the Bible "hair" is very much used in symbolic meaning, and I think it will be useful for you to hear why this is the case.

Let us first quote what is said in 1 Cor 11:14:



Wow, what does this mean? Before I comment on this as it is given to me to do by God we may look at what is said about the woman in 1 Cor 11:15.



The words of Paul must be understood to be shadows that lead us to the true spiritual understanding. So, what does hair mean, if we read what is said in Prov 20:29:



Don't you see that "the gray head" means somebody who has done what is right in his or her life, for otherwise there would be no beauty about his or her hair?

To be short, let me therefore refer to the woman as mankind, or every single human being, whether man or woman, for in the gospel we are supposed to be the bride of Jesus Christ, his woman, so our hair is therefore whatever good He, our saviour does in us, through us, and for us. Why so? Well, we have heard about another power in us that is called the Old Man, and about him it is said that "if a man have long hair, it is a shame unto him," and this means that if you as man allows your Old Man to have long hair it will be a shame to you, since he is your head in you. That the man's hair shall be cut means symbolically that you and I must let the law of God cut the hair of the Old Man, not letting him have any fruit in us.

Why so? Because Jesus Christ is the only one that we ought to accept as our head. About his hair this is symbolically said in Lev 19:27:



This means that since our true head is Jesus Christ, or at least should be Jesus Christ, we cannot determine how the hair on our head, i.e. His work in us, should be, for He is our head and we not His, so we cannot round the corners of His head.

So, therefore, though the locusts had the hair of women they were far from being the bride of Jesus Christ. If they had been they would not have teeth that were as they were teeth of lions. That they had breastplates as it were of iron means that they were brutal and far from being God's loving people, for otherwise their breastplates would be "breastplates of righteousness", as seen in Eph 6:14:



That the sound of their wings were as the sound of chariots, of many horses rushing to war, reveals that all this was and is the army of Satan, for the wings of God's cherubim have quite another sound, about which we read in Ezek 1:24:



Listen and pay heed to it that the noice of the wings of God's cherubim are like the voice of the Almighty! What else can this mean if not that the voice of the wings of God's cherubim are according to Holy Scripture?

The tails that were like scorpions mean that these people were false, as can be seen in Isa 9:15:



So these locust were false from the beginning to the end! It is also said about them that they have tails like unto scorpions, and stings; and in their tails is their power to hurt men five months. What does this mean?

Dear people, the five months mean 150 years in the Bible's time reckoning, so these scorpions were allowed to sting people with their falsehood, giving them bad conscience and the fear of judgment, but without giving them relief in the truth and grace of God. Therefore they could go on until the end of the time period of the beast, which should last from 666 AD to 1926 AD. That the locusts hurt people without killing them, as is said in Rev 9:6, is another very important thing to understand:



What it means is this: No man can die to the law without first realizing what the true gospel of God is and, in doing so, giving his or her Old Man to be salted with salt. This is what Rom 7:4 is all about:



Dear people, you who seek the truth of God, this is the truth that these seals and trumpets contain, so blessed is whoever sees and accepts it as the word of God!

I my next post I will expound the thirteenth chapter of the book of Revelation before returning to the twelfth chapter and go on with my exposition on that chapter.

So why did he stop killing Christians? Ahh yes, destroy them from the inside. Sorry I ain't buying that. I'm still really partial to James though. If he is James the Greater or James the Less.

Dear Lord, my God that I put my trust in,

Why did you call me and send me to these people? They do not believe what I tell them and they taunt me for what I say, and they even hate me.

God, you Almighty, if I am indeed false as so many of them claim, then prove them right and let me receive what I deserve.

Why did you say to me: Speak! And did I not answer: What shall I speak, knowing nothing?

Oh, my God, whom I put my trust in, why am my words so weak and stupid in their ears? Why did you not choose such as would kill them who do not believe, as they think You would, instead of one that reject violence of the kind that Jesus Christ, our Saviour, rebuked?

Why must we who trust you be the laughing-stock of those who heed nothing, not in the least what is righteous and true?

I do not have the discernment necessary to know yet if you are who you say. I see no fault in your message so far but God has not spoken with me yet until then I wait. No man should falter on his own if you are who you say you are then your testing will be one of the hardest this world has ever seen. I leave you with this and hope you find comfort in it and the knowledge that if I had come across you in real life my hand would be extended to help lift you up.
