The serpent represents working its way along devouring the material as the disintegrator gun carves away. The guy with so called knives are alignment tools. Stairs made from refractory material look just like those after a hot spill of liquid steel and slag in a foundry. The image also looks like a hydraulic powered diamond saw blade or ceramic cutting chain.

The Dendara so called lightbulb concepts have been solved, or mostly. After years of study, I have found another person that correctly understands the images. It matches the description of the hieroglyphs.

The snake is a representation of light (the sun) is always a serpent. The Mercury converter is very similar with the inductors shown as supporting the filament

The snakes in the bulbs are different like there mirror opposites, and the melted stairs could be wear from running water. Also the little nubs on all the old stone works from all around the world have them they are for cranes look at the meidan sarcophagus it has them but in perfect shape on all 4 sides its definitely for cranes that's the only way to move these big blocks 4 cables and being lifted from above

If the soil around the area contains calcium salts, it would explain the melting effect.

I don't see the figure as a baboon but more as a todd (frog). The two knifes are not for me knifes but something else. It would have been bulb in our technology but I see the snake as a reseased power (in ancient Greek mythology, the snake &(#8004;φις) is the symbol of wiseness, so it must have a similarity to the Egyptian symbology), within limits. Yes, is well possible to create electric arches and bulbs, but I will no go to this domain, since a high technology will be something more smaller and somehow unnatural to our perception.
