"it must be that 90% of the global populace has based their beliefs in religion"

Thats a good indication that we aren't spiritually advanced. It means we are mindless sheep. If we were spiritually advanced we would'nt have so many religions with different opinions and theologies. We would all understand the spiritual truth. I don't know what that is, if it in fact exists. But everyone can't be right.

Our spirituality is as advanced as our technology. Most of it is ultimately pointless, wasteful and damaging to the planet and the individual.
