As is so often the case, it is not what is revealed that is telling. In this case, the verses omitted from that chapter allude to both "the word" and "the epistle". This can also be interpreted to mean "to the Law and to the Testimony". Breaking it down even further it is THE WORD OF GOD and THE SPIRIT OF PROPHECY. Another take on this would be that "Nature and Revelation alike testify (as witnesses?) of the Kingdom of God and His Christ". In other words, In the absence of "The Book", the Spirit can speak directly to the soul, with nature as its handbook. Christ is written everywhere. The student of each can come to a correct understanding of the plan of salvation. "As above, so below".
We often attack what we do not understand. There is danger in attacking what we perceive to be the adversary. Not so much from the adversary as there is from our own selves. As a matter of fact, "That Wicked" concerns more about the removal of "the negative aspect of I" than it concerns our traditional concepts of Satan and his minions of demons. It connects the two together. It is not just the fate of demons that get cast into the Lake of Fire. It is also the negative aspect of myself (that I have crucified with Christ), which will also be cast into the Lake. Whenever we take upon ourselves to "judge" another's behavior (in whatever righeous lanquage you use), it is still judgement however it is justified. "Judge not lest ye be judged" is not just an analogy. It is (according to the law) deserving of the second death.
The real "enemy" here is ignorance. By ignorance here, I mean a finer understanding of the importance of the letter of the law and the spirit of the law. Many may call themselves Elijah, Enoch, or even Zerubbabel. The fact is, many will come in the spirit of all of these prophets. It will sweep a whole generation. The truth is, after all, still the truth. What will characterize this generation more than any other is that they will have the "spirit of prophecy". It is indicative of the times we are in. There are false prophets in the land. There are also many true. We have to test those spirits, but we don't need to "waterboard" em.

We are not far enough into God's timeline for the appearance of the Two Witnesses. It is only theological conjecture that the two witnesses are to be Enoch and Elijah. So because of this; these are false prophets coming in Christ's name that Jesus Warned about in Matt. 24:4,5. They do not witness to my spirit at all, and they are incorrect in their perception of the chronology of prophetic events and occurrences. They are to be leaders of the 144,000 witnesses who are called the "firstfruits of the Kingdom; since the Davidic Kingdom arrives after the Fall of Mystery Babylon the Great, then the so called "timing" of these witnesses on this forum is way off. ME PARECE OPORTUNO INDICAR QUE AMÉN DE LO QUE YA DE POR SÍ INCLUYE (EN VARIOS ASPECTOS) MI PROPIA ESENCIA ESPIRITUAL, HE DEDICADO, CASI DESDE MIS PRIMEROS AÑOS, A FORMARME EN LO QUE A LAS ENSEÑANZAS EVOLUTIVAS SE REFIERE. PUEDO DECIROS QUE LA VERDADERA ESENCIA DE LA SUMATORIA DE TODO ELLO SE ENCUENTRA EN LOS ESCRITOS ENTREGADOS. TODO GIRA EN TORNO A LOS DOS MANDAMIENTOS. ESTO ES VÁLIDO PARA CUALQUIER SER EN CUALQUIER LUGAR DEL PLANETA… TODO LO DEMÁS, ABSOLUTAMENTE TODO, VIENE DADO POR AÑADIDURA…, DESDE LA FORMA DE TRANSMUTAR LAS ENERGÍAS, HASTA EL ALCANZAR LAS MÁS ALTAS CIMAS DE LA EVOLUCIÓN ESPIRITUAL.
