Just listened to Soledad O'Brien's interview with Michelle Obama.

When O'Brien asked whether or not the couple had any reservations about committing to the rigours of a Presidential run, Mrs. Obama answered:

"Barak doesn't do anything that's not easy."

Very similar to saying "I could care less", instead of "I couldn't care less." It's just lazy speech patterns that become a habit.
