Since the FBI gives politicians free run and protects them from criminal liability they should in no way be granted extra powers. Besides it seems every time they create these massive databases they always get screwed by the contractors but only seem to realize it when the 'projects' are half done and the money is already wasted. They will probably let the Israelis do it for them at an even greater cost (complete unfettered access to our intelligence).
