Hi TuLayan,
May I ask, where are you quoting me from? I don't recall ever writing those words. Thanks.
The truth, as I know it to be, is that we are all 100% responsible for everything we find wrong (or right) in this world.
I take 100% personal responsibility for everything in my world, including the actions of the U.S., Israel, Iran, etc.
Taking responsibility, I can look within and ask myself, "Wherein did I contribute to this?" -- and then shift my own thinking if I wish.
As much as I enjoy "playing" here in this forum, and might use words that would certainly give the impression that I am "blaming" someone or something outside myself, inwardly, I know I am responsible for all of it -- all the so-called "good" and all the so-called "evil" and if I don't like something, I can let go of the thoughts creating it.
I'm not sure if this will make sense to you or not, but that is how I see things. I am HERE. That is all I can truly say. The rest is "story".
I am happy no matter what. If I, my family, my friends, my world were to get blown up -- my peace and happiness will remain unshaken, as my peace runs independent of anything that happens in the world. I am freedom itself, and no-thing and no-one can ever touch that perfect freedom that is always Here.
Same as with everyone's true Inner Being. All are always 100% free, happy and peaceful 24/7 -- claiming they're not and feeling victimized by the world they've created in their minds and wanting to change everyone and everything they don't like -- yet often feeling powerless to do so.
We are each all-powerful and unlimited Beings pretending to be limited body-minds. This is never true for one instant, though -- however, it will certainly appear as though we are limited so long as we identify with these corpses we call bodies.
It's all quite entertaining from the detached standpoint of being the witness or observer, versus being a "somebody" (ego) that's at stake in the story.
This is all very much like a night dream to me. I don't take much of anything too personally or "seriously." All is as it should be -- perfect, as always.
Most don't see it this way, but a few are "waking up" to see the underlying perfection, even amongst all the "seeming" imperfections of this world.
Beneath this world appearance is something far more Real. It is the basic "IS-ness" of the Universe, and it is closer than our very breath. It is our "Beingness" before we clutter it with mental concepts.
If I take the viewpoint that I am this body-mind that I've labeled "Truthseeker7", then from that relative viewpoint, I'd say this: The actions of the U.S. administration -- along with the support of many people in the U.S. (though certainly not all people), and in conjunction with other "Zionists" in Israel and elsewhere -- are what have led to many of the problems in this world.
Yet, that's only a viewpoint regarding the outer "appearance" -- a mere "play" on the world stage -- and it has nothing to do with the underlying Reality. The viewpoint only arises as I identify with this arbitrary viewpoint called I call "me".
I apologize for speaking with you on two levels here -- one, worldly and two, beyond the world -- but that's how I see things. I'm in the world, but definitely not "of" it. None of us are in truth. I'm here playing both parts -- in and seemingly "of" the world -- and am having a blast doing so.
What can ever happen to the Ocean if a wave rises and falls? Nothing is ever added to the Ocean. Nothing is ever lost. All is perfect, always.
Much love, and thanks for your comments.

Still no explanation, yet lots of making fun of the "tin foil hat" folks -- as they call anyone who asks questions.
Wayne Madsen confirms Six cuts: [link to www.waynemadsenreport.com]
Wired blogger confirms Four cuts:
Last week, Egypt reported that two of the major cables that provide the Middle East with internet access had been severed. The cables in question (SEA-ME-WE-4 and FLAG EUROPE ASIA) run close together at the point where they were cut, but are still 1.2 miles (2km) apart. At the time, authorities claimed that the breaks were probably caused by natural events or an undersea accident. Natural forces may still explain the cable breaks, but with a fifth cable break coming to light yesterday, people are increasingly questioning whether or not there's more to the story.
As of February 6, there have been three-to-four confirmed cable cuts and rumors of a potential fifth cut that may have sliced across the FALCON at another location. A recent Wired article highlights the discrepancies in recent reports, noting that one of the supposed cuts was nothing more than a power outage. Wired also takes issue with the rumored fifth cable break, stating that such rumors are nothing more than recycled information on a cable break that occurred in January.
The diagram below (courtesy of Wikipedia) shows the location of the first two cuts, as well as the paths the optical cables take in and out of the region. Repair crews have already been dispatched to the first two sites, and FLAG hopes to have them both repaired within a week. That's welcome news for governments, companies, and users whose current source of Internet access is significantly constrained by the sole remaining fiber-optic landline.
Undersea cables occasionally fail for one reason or another, but the speed and locality of these particular line breaks have led Internet conspiracy theorists the world over to strap on their tinfoil hats. The leading "alternative" explanation is that these particular Internet outages are not the result of an act of God (as defined by your local insurance agency) or any type of accident, but are the result of a secret US strategy meant to isolate Iran and deprive it of Internet communication. For the record, Iran's Internet access has not been cut off (though the country has experienced some connection difficulties). The conspiracy theory explanation, while just slightly more plausible than "OMGPONIES," has absolutely no independent evidence to back it up. Whatever else the Trilateral Commission, Illuminati, Big Pharma, Al Qaeda, vaccination campaigns, and the Easter Bunny might be plotting at this moment, they just don't seem to be planning a major assault on the Middle East's ability to watch illicit American Idol broadcasts, conduct business, or surf the Arabic equivalent of YouTube. Reuters is reporting that repairs will be completed this weekend.
Three to four cable breaks in just over a week is coincidental—but at the moment, that's all it is. If repairs proceed apace, life should begin to get back to normal in the area by this time next week.

Richard Sauder, PhD says NINE or more were apparently cut:
[link to rense.com]
Who ya gonna believe?
I confirmed eight, plus read mention of the Jan. 23 "unreported" cut, which would seem to confirm Dr. Sauder's assertion that there were nine or more. However, it is possible that some of the news sources I found could have had their information messed up. Mis/Disinformation spreads fast. Best to go direct to the companies themselves probably -- the ones who's networks are experiencing damage.
A representative from Flag Telecom seems to mention FIVE "faults" just within their own network:
"Thought I'd give you all an update on where we (FLAG) are with the cable cuts -
FEA Segment D - The Cable ship CS Certamen is now expected to arrive at the Alexandria repair ground on Wednesday 6th February. A Permit for the repair is currently being expedited with the Egyptian authorities.
FEA Segment M - The cable ship CS Asean Restorer has been booked for this repair. It is currently out on an APCN repair and with current plan will be ready to start any work on our cable on or after 11th Feb. We have the OTDR traces from Penang and see that the fault is around 28km out from the station.
FALCON Segment 7b (Bandra Abbas - Al Seeb) - E-Marine continues to await the permit to enter the Iranian waters and current forecast for the ship to start a work is around 19th February.
FALCON Segment 2 - Fault 1st February 41km from repeater, which is between the first two repeaters out of Dubai toward Muscat (Al Seeb). The ship has left Abu Dhabi and is on route to the repair ground. The repair is expected to start in the next 12 hours (weather
permitting).
FALCON Segment 7a - Fault 1st February between BND (Bandar Abbas, Iran) and KWI (Kuwait), we are waiting for ship to go out and it maybe fixed before going out the fault on 7b - to be confirmed.

Bottom line, everyone should do their own research and try to access the best possible sources of information.
The first thing I asked on this thread was for independent verification. No one seems to have done so except me. I did so twice, yet still can't confirm how good some of the news sources I found online are. And, I don't trust the main stream media to report accurately --- so what do you do? If I had enough time, I'd call the companies themselves and ask about every one of the NINE alleged cuts and see what they say.
Someone may want to do so and post what they find out. |

"There is just one small problem: Iran's internet connectivity was never lost."
No, but it's my understanding that 90% of Iran's Internet traffic runs through that line, and thus they had to resort to satellite communications as a re-route, slowing everything down considerably -- and possibly opening them up to easier communications intercept.
If the U.S. decided to attack Iran, I would suspect a communication satellite or two might be taken out as well.

It would appear they are quoting from the original article I posted by Dr. Sauder.
Here's what was on the Tehran Times site, which they took from Press TV:
U.S. and Israel cut internet cables: report
A report says U.S. and Zionist regimes are the two anti-Muslim states that intentionally cut the internet cables to the Muslim world.
These two countries exhibit a strong and anti-Muslim bias in their foreign relations. They also have the technical ability to carry out clandestine sabotage operations on the sea floor, according to an article on the Opednews website.
Israel and the U.S. have exhibited a pattern of violently destructive policies towards Muslim peoples and nations, especially in the Middle East region, Richard Sauder wrote.
Optic fibers were cut in France, Alexandria, Dubai, Bandar Abbas of Iran, one cable between Qatar and the UAE, one in Egypt's Suez, and finally one near Penang, Malaysia, the article reported.
The U.S. Navy has long had special operations teams that can go out in submarines and deploy undersea, on the seabed itself, specifically for this sort of operation, he wrote.
Sauder pointed out that Iran will open its own Oil Bourse soon, which will be trading in ""non-dollar currencies."" This has massive geo-political and economic implications for the United States and its economy.
An operational Iranian Oil Bourse, actively trading supertankers full of petroleum in non-dollar currencies, poses a great threat to the American dollar's continued dominance as the international reserve currency, he added.

Using the Internet as a weapon
Commentary: Internet interruption in the Middle East looks fishy
John C. Dvorak, MarketWatch
Nobody knows what caused the cut cables in the Mediterranean that interrupted Internet service to parts of the Middle East last week, but there are now conspiracy theories galore written by bloggers and pundits.
Some say it will benefit terrorists and Iran somehow. In fact, the cut cables -- originally blamed on ships dragging anchors -- look more like a ploy by some intelligence agency to disrupt Iranian commerce, specifically an emerging oil bourse that the Iranians have been quietly establishing and hoped to roll out fully in the next 60 days.
This concept seems a little farfetched until you look at the details which were provided to me by one of my readers, Martin Kuplens-Ewart who has been following the story from the outset. He notes: "there is a substantial event that has effectively been killed by the loss of connectivity: the launch of the Iranian Oil Bourse.
"A marketplace for oil, gas, and various petrochemicals, the Iranian Oil Bourse would trade exclusively in non-dollars and probably substantial negative impact to the U.S. economy and financial system. The bourse was scheduled for launch this week (between Feb. 1 and 11. With complete elimination of Internet connectivity to the country, this launch is now impossible and unlikely to be achievable before month's end (given the estimate 10-14 days for repairs to fiber-optic cables)."
He cites various articles expressing the mystery behind the cut cables and describing the bourse and its overall threat to the U.S. economy, as well as how the thing could backfire, ruining the Iranian economy. See Seattle Times article. See World Press article. See Energy Bulletin item.
... In most instances Internet connectivity can be rerouted, and much of the Middle East has already done this. But what makes this situation unique is that the bourse was being established on Kish Island, a free-trade zone set up by the Iranians in hopes of creating a cool tourist destination.
... There doesn't seem to be an alternate Internet connection to the island other than the cut cables. I attempted to email the three top hotels on the island and all the email bounced. I was also unable to make a telephone call there indicating a large telecommunications failure.
The Web sites for the hotels are likely to be hosted off the island and are still working.
This sort of telecom and Internet failure/collapse, no matter what the cause, is unlikely to give anyone confidence in an international oil trading system on Kish Island. Too much money is at risk. The island obviously needs satellite access or some form of connectivity back up that is foolproof.
There has always been talk about disrupting commerce by screwing up the Internet. We've just seen a proof of concept, whether done on purpose or by accident.
It doesn't make a lot of difference how it happened if we want to learn a lesson as to how delicate the Internet mechanism can be.

First - Two statements of fact, or of at least what has been displyed to Us by the Media at this present moment.
1. Internet and Communications Cables have been cut to the Middle East, Africa, and Southeast Asia.
2. The causes of these cuts seem to all be of the same origin.
Now here is where the true Gem of Reasoning is...
1. It is of course easy to understand that one coincidence can occur.
2. It is unusual but still easy to understand, when two coincidences - IN A ROW - occur.
3. It starts to get suspicious when three coincidences - IN A ROW - Occur.
4. You'd have to be an absolutely nieve Individual to believe or think, that four coincidences - IN A ROW - occur simply by pure chance...
5. Any more coincidences - IN A ROW - And such an Individual who believes that those occurrences were by pure chance or natural occurrences should IMO;
A) Get a Larger shovel.
B) Dig the Hole deeper.
C) Make the Hole wider.
D) Place their head back into the Hole and cover it up so they can then deny anything else that occurs...
The above is common Logic that most of Us have all been taught. We need to remember this...
That being - We aren't as Dumb as they think We are...
Peace, Light, Love and Harmony.
Namaste,

Iran's Oil Bourse: A Threat to the U.S. Economy?
Niusha Boghrati
Worldpress.org correspondent
April 11, 2006
A new building under construction on Iran's Kish Island. The island's free trade zone is the alleged location for the up-coming Iranian oil bourse. (Photo: Webshots)
While Iran's nuclear program has become a major focus of the international media, there are many who strongly believe that the program is only a cover for the U.S. government's true motive in a possible attack against Iran.
What some analysts posit is the real concern for the United States is Iran's plan to open its own oil exchange — the Iranian Oil Bourse (IOB) — with the alleged goal of becoming the dominant center of the Middle East's oil trade.
What makes the IOB the subject of such interest by the American government? According to rumors, which first vaulted the issue into the spotlight, the financial exchange in the aforementioned bourse will trade for oil in euros instead of the U.S. dollar. The dollar has long been the dominant currency for international oil trade.
A Threat to the U.S. Economy?
The debate over the ultimate financial impact of trading oil in euros rather than dollars is a complex one, but according to some experts such a move could lead to a huge drop in value for the American currency, potentially putting the U.S. economy in its greatest crisis since the depression era of the 1930s.

The IOB has been on Iran's domestic agenda for quite some time and different dates have informally been announced for its opening, all which have been quietly disavowed as the deadline neared.
March 20, the most recent rumored date, was the first day of the Persian calendar year. The Iranian Oil Ministry's public relations department has denied that the date corresponded to the opening of the bourse, and has mostly remained silent about the existence of such a program.
Of course, the effectiveness of the IOB will depend on whether the big international oil trading companies decide to accept deals in euros or not. However, the potential financial impact on the U.S. economy remains more than just idle speculation.
"The weapon of oil in the hands of Iran's regime is more dangerous than any other weapon," said a recently published article in Italy's Panorama newsmagazine.
Iran's Deputy Oil Minister Mohammad Javad Assemipour, director of the IOB program, told Panorama that the oil trading center, due to open in a few months, will turn Iran into a major oil exchange point.
"Iran's oil exchange with the region's countries and also some of the East Asia states will take place in euros instead of U.S. dollars," said Assemipour.
Some of the major oil-producing countries such as Venezuela (which has boosted its economic ties to Iran) and a few of the larger oil consuming countries, most notably China and India, have already announced their support for the IOB. China and India, along with Russia, are powers that have at various times backed Iran's right to establish its own nuclear program.
There is speculation that the IOB represents Iran's plan to escape any possible future economic sanctions spearheaded by the U.S. However, some postulate that the plan could also endanger the continued existence of Iran's regime. William Clark, an American security expert, predicted that if Iran threatened the hegemony of the U.S. dollar in the international oil market, the White House would immediately order a military attack against it.
Some Insist Impact will be Negligible
A number of economists believe that establishing the bourse will prove to be an impossible task for Iran.
"More than 68 percent of the global international oil exchange is in U.S. dollars, and by abandoning dollars Iran will put its own economy in greater danger," said an unnamed Iranian professor of Economics in Paris.
Other experts believe that even if the IOB commences operations, there is not much harm it can do to the U.S. economy.
"Given the fact that Iran's share of the international oil market is somewhere around 5 percent, I do not believe that it can really absorb enough customers around the globe," said Russian economist Natalia Arlova.
"And Iran's unstable political system is another obstacle. Let us not forget that one of the biggest characteristics of the international oil trade centers is stability. Apart from that, the reason the U.S. dollar has been the dominant currency in the oil trade is the huge share America has in the global economy. I do not think that only Iran's ambition to replace the dollar with the euro will be enough. There are much bigger factors."
However the IOB, to be located in the free trade zone of Iran's Kish Island on the Persian Gulf, remains a potential destabilizing factor for the U.S. economy. This, according to some strategic analysts, is a probable motive for the rumored U.S. attack against the country.
Experts point to the fact that the Iraq invasion in 2002 took place after Saddam Hussein refused to accept dollars as a payment medium for its oil exports and Oil For Food program, choosing euros instead. After discovering no weapons of mass destruction in Iraq, speculations have been raised that the main cause for the invasion was the White House's fear of the possible financial repercussions of Saddam Hussein's plan to substitute dollars for euros.
Maybe it was that fateful decision by the former Iraqi president which was the last straw for the White House before it sent U.S. soldiers marching into Baghdad.

Saboteurs may have cut Mideast telecom cables: UN agency
Damage to several undersea telecom cables that caused outages across the Middle East and Asia could have been an act of sabotage, the International Telecommunication Union said on Monday.
"We do not want to preempt the results of ongoing investigations, but we do not rule out that a deliberate act of sabotage caused the damage to the undersea cables over two weeks ago," the UN agency's head of development, Sami al-Murshed, told AFP.
Five undersea cables were damaged in late January and early February leading to disruption to Internet and telephone services in parts of the Middle East and south Asia.
There has been speculation that the sheer number of cables being cut over such a short period was too much of a coincidence and that sabotage must have been involved.
India's Flag telecom revealed on February 7 that the cut to the Falcon cable between the United Arab Emirates and Oman was caused by a ship's anchor. But mystery shrouds what caused another four reported cuts.
"Some experts doubt the prevailing view that the cables were cut by accident, especially as the cables lie at great depths under the sea and are not passed over by ships," Murshed said on the sidelines of a conference on cyber-crime held in Gulf state of Qatar.
The Falcon cable has since been repaired, along with the Flag Europe Asia (FEA) cable which was damaged off Egypt's Mediterranean coast. The status of the remaining cable is still unclear.

Middle eastern cables destroyed deliberately

THE International Telecommunication Union has claimed that a spate of telecommunication outages to the Middle East were the result of sabotage.
Five undersea cables were damaged causing huge disruption to Internet and telephone services in the Middle East and south Asia.
Union spokesman Sami al-Murshed, told AFP said that while there was still an ongoing investigation into the incidents it would seem that there was a deliberate act of sabotage.
While it was possible that one cable could have been damaged by a ship's anchor the others were too deep. Besides the chances of five cables being cut within a two week period was unlikely.
Murshed said on the sidelines of a conference on cyber-crime held in Gulf state of Qatar that the cables lie at great depths under the sea and are not passed over by ships.

Why accuse a whole country - especially a country of people who are desperately trying to change things as quickly as possible... we despise what our president and his cronies have done.
You said "suspicion quite naturally falls on both Israel and the United States of America"
The truth is that suspicion lies with the Bush Administration. Quoting: TuLayan Traveler 226702 Next you'll be talking about the Butch Bush Admin. |
