yep! i bet the amero will be fully digital! after everyone's dollars are worthless, everyone will get their homeland-security approved federal ID/driver's license/amero credit relief card. the card will be the next version of the credit cards they gave the katrina victims. it will come with a certain amount of 'money' on it. then your paycheck(if you have a job), will go towards paying your 'loan' back. soon all your paychecks will just be deposited in your amero card, because the fed has slightly fewer fees than having a normal 'bank' account. it will be so much more convenient than using cash!

I have been wanting to say the same thing. I was employed by one of the most successful ARM mortgage companies...until two years ago when I saw the ARM problem unfolding...

ARM's were getting extremely popular in all sectors of the mortgage industry, NOT just subprime.

With typical 5yr reset...and property values plummeting...Well can you connect the dots? People trying to REFI before the reset...CAN'T DO IT...not enough equity!!!! lending restrictions way increased, property values way down.... NO FUCKING WAY OUT for prime mortgages using ARM'S...

this thing is going to get WAY WORSE.

This is closer to the TRUTH than anything else I have seen today!!!!!!!!!!

Not to be too critical here, but NOBODY besides a bullion dealer, weapons merchant, grocer/food-broker, or other hard-good/gear supplier is going to do you any good.

You got some real estate on which you can weather this storm, harvest/grow some food, heat with wood, own a woodlot, have a protected perimeter and semi-remote/hard to approach homestead? Got water on the place? Maybe a tin roofed barn that you can use to feed a cistern? Got solar panels, a wind charger, storage batteries/inverters, efficient appliances, vehicles you can scavenge fuel for and make run? Got PRI-G & D to restore gasoline & diesel?

Think "moving your money around" is going to mean dick?
Unless you can move it from the safe in your basement to the safe in your bedroom, you won't have it or see it again, unless maybe you frame your last bank statement/brokerage statement and gaze wistfully at them on those bummer days.

There is no money manager, no special account, no offshore facility that will weather this storm.
