Tattoos could be a useful way of delivering therapeutic vaccines in humans, including for some cancers.
Scientists in Germany say that tattoos could be the ideal way of delivering vaccines into the body.
The researchers say that in tests undertaken with mice, tattoos were much more effective in provoking a response from the immune system.

I wonder what the chosen design will be? 555 |

Mueller and his colleagues tested tattooing by vaccinating mice with a protein fragment of human papillomavirus, or HPV, a sexually transmitted virus that causes cervical cancer. No ink was used, so the tattoo left no permanent mark.
Mueller said tattooing could also have a role to play in routine vaccination of cattle. 555 |

Invisible RFID tattoo, thanks for the link 369297.
The process developed by Somark involves a geometric array of micro-needles and an ink capsule, which is used to 'tattoo' an animal. The ink can be detected from 4 feet away.

Co-founder Mark Pydynowski said during an interview Wednesday that the ink doesn't contain any metals and can be either invisible or colored. He declined to say what is in the ink, but said he's certain that it is 100% biocompatible and chemically inert. He also said it is safe for people and animals. 555 |

Physicians already consider certain scars to be proof of vaccination.
Some governments and pharmaceutical companies want to make the HPV vaccine mandatory for all children–girls, and boys.
A vaccine tattoo that says, in effect, “I’m clean,” could also change the way humans choose their sexual partners.

Method for verifying human identity during electronic sale transactions
Abstract
A method is presented for facilitating sales transactions by electronic media. A bar code or a design is tattooed on an individual. Before the sales transaction can be consummated, the tattoo is scanned with a scanner. Characteristics about the scanned tattoo are compared to characteristics about other tattoos stored on a computer database in order to verify the identity of the buyer. Once verified, the seller may be authorized to debit the buyer's electronic bank account in order to consummate the transaction. The seller's electronic bank account may be similarly updated.

THAT is just plain stupid! You only need a single shot for most vaccines, WHY would you need a tattoo to hide that??
