A Message to the Australian Indigenous Leaders of the Aboriginal People:
With Reverence from BlueThunder

What is important to the Aboriginal people for healing the emotional scars of humanity and nature? What are the traditional Aboriginal ceremonial ways of life that can help teach peace? As people of the many Native American Nations here in the USA, we see things in our dreams. These dreams work with the visions shown to us by our spiritual ancestors such as: animals, birds or other holy beings as messengers. It is my understanding that the Aboriginal people are similar in their belief systems, often called ‘the Dreaming’ or Altjeringa.

Here in the USA, the Indigenous Nations of the First People have a way to communicate with each other in decision making processes. What one group would do affects all other groups in the circle of life. When any issue is needed to be addressed or an event or ceremony needs to take place, a message is sent out to all groups. They would then in turn join in a circle and talk about what was needed for harmony and to heal the circumstances together. Is there a similar communication system used by the Aboriginal people? What means do you use to bring issues to the forefront or address matters that need attention to all of your people?

The Native Americans know well that here on Mother Earth what each person does affects nature’s balance. Mother Nature takes on the impact of all actions and intentions as it will be affected by all of our work in the future. We are also keenly aware that everything on Earth is connected to the land; by the water, air, fire and wind and to all of the inhabitants that are related in spirit—the energy of all life forces on Mother Earth.

The international awareness of all Indigenous Nations is rapidly expanding. It is not just the fellow Indigenous people, such as the Native Americans, that are sensing the value of the ancient Indigenous traditions, teachings and wisdom. Where ever I have traveled, I have found a sensitive interest in these matters as well as an expanding consciousness of our connections to Mother Earth. All people of all nations have a relationship to each other and our connection to the land and the spirit from people of every culture. Yet, here in the United States little is known about the actual lives and traditions of the Indigenous Nations and Aboriginal people; much has been filtered out through education and the media.

We feel it is very important that the voice of the Aboriginal people be heard. And we also feel that it is very important for our voices to be heard, together, as one people. The Aboriginal people represent an Indigenous way of life that is very important to all of us as well as to Mother Earth. Your traditions and wisdoms should not be forgotten and suppressed or lost in the process of colonization or modernization in today’s society. Thus, we appeal to you to consider this ceremony a way to educate the people in the ceremonial ways of our belief systems, our special way of life, and in our sacred ways and traditions.

We are making every conscious effort to approach the Elders of the Aboriginal people respectfully in a manner that is appropriate to your people and also to the people here simultaneously: expressing our intentions and wisdom of our sacred traditions in a gracious manner. Please consider our intentions in a gracious manner, for we do not want to break any of your sacred protocols in any way; our intentions are of the highest regard and respect for your people and your traditions.

We as Indigenous people are moving forward in a peaceful way teaching many to practice our ways of nature in harmony. We feel that this may be the same desire of the Aboriginal people. So, we are humbly asking you to help us, help you manifest peace by considering working together to bring about this awareness in teaching love, peace and harmony. Peace and love for all creation brings harmony, which will manifest a much needed healing. We invite your input or suggestions on how we can help many nations of people to be represented in a respectful manner; courteously teaching our sacred past, for the present and future of humanity, which we feel will bring about peace.

We can change the past erasing the pain and injustices that all Indigenous people have suffered in the process of colonization. We feel all of us together as one people of the Mother Earth can help in the healing these wounds and shape the future of humanity.

One of the most heartrending representations of your suffering as a people has been made internationally known by Bob Randal, an Aboriginal Elder, who has brought a special message about the Brown Babies, in his song, that were taken from the families of the Aboriginal people. Similar things have happened to the Indigenous Nations of America. One thing that all Indigenous people can be proud of, is that we have been able to preserve our belief systems and our sacred ways of living in harmony with the land, even at the great cost that we have all of endured.

We feel the timing is now, as the world’s awareness continues to grow. What we are rapidly learning as we become aware of the suffering of every culture is that mankind continues to make the same mistakes world-wide. History now shows that EVERY culture HAS suffered the atrocities of genocide at one point in history or another. Mother Earth has been covered with the blood of her children, worldwide. The ancestors call out to us, this bleeding must stop! For we are all one people—what one person suffers brings suffering and sorrow to us all!

Please, let us, together, consider being the healing change that humanity and Mother Earth so desperately needs as one people, the children of Mother Earth. The ancient prophecies of the Indigenous Nations reveal that this is the time to act. Our planet is repairing herself and healing the wounds caused by her children’s actions. The pollution of our air and water, the toxins in our soil, our diminishing natural resources, have all caused an imbalance on this planet that is rapidly spiraling out of control. The disasters in nature are blessing healing the wounds upon Mother Earth sacred carpets worldwide. We ask, what can one do to stop it? We, as a collective consciousness, have the choice of putting forth a special message to all that inhabit this planet in a peaceful manner. Please, consider the combined power of many is the power in thoughts that will all of creation and the environments to heal in ceremony. Within us all lays the miracle of the rebirth of our planet. Imagine multiplying this miracle by the participation of millions. These millions can learn our belief systems that work for purity and peace.

We know that the all the Indigenous nations worldwide were gifted with the wisdom of how man was meant to work in harmony with nature for the benefit of all, for we are one people. We all share the responsibility to care for our Mother with love. We thank her for all of the gifts that she has shared. How can we best share our Indigenous wisdom of peace and harmony about the environment as it was passed down from our ancestors? How can we best bring this awareness to the masses? How can we enlighten them and show them what peace truly is and how important our sacred hearts of peace were to our ancestors? How can we show how important the love of the land, the water, the air and the fire were to them? Many of us know deep in our hearts that this ancestral wisdom is the same for Aboriginal people. I know that you have also walked in the sacred paths of beauty, peace and harmony that kept the environmental balance that now seems to be diminishing in these modern times. We feel the awakening and timing is a necessity for peace to evolve.

It is our deepest desire to incorporate the sacred way of life of the Aboriginal people’s traditions and culture with that of the Native American perspectives. Together, we can help all nations to see the ancient ways of peace, through nature’s laws. The messages from the ancestors tell us that it is possible to learn from the past, make the necessary changes in the present that will secure a future that will bring many benefits to the entire planet.

What awareness can we bring forth that will make a difference? How can we help educate as many people as possible? We would like to get pictures or writings of your sacred ways and point of view. Messages from Aboriginal Voice on how you would like to be represented to heal the past, in the present for the future. If we can bring together your writings, images and gather information that represents your visions and concerns we know that with this information we can help re-educate the masses of humanity. We will compose a powerful presentation on PowerPoint that can be shown to those masses—calling out to all fellow visionaries and peacekeepers from every walk of life and every nation, to join us and BECOME Earth healers, PRACTIONERS OF PEACE!!!!

Here in the Americas many of our Indigenous Nations work with our sacred sounds in our ceremonies with drums, flutes, songs, dances, prayers and intentions. The vibrational healings of the drums, flutes, songs and dances helps keep nature tuned in harmony as it heals Mother Earth. Very successful ceremonies have already been performed here in North America. In 2004 we conducted a series of Medicine Wheel Ceremonies to honor the Earth and all creation. The Grand Teton National Park and Yellowstone National Park, in Wyoming, and Big Bear Lake in California, became the hubs of these multicultural events. We envisioned that all of mankind would celebrate the blessings of the Earth together. These Medicine Wheel Ceremonies demonstrated how sacred mountains and waterways worked together to bring harmony to our Mother Earth. These ceremonies brought back a vast amount of healing and balance that restored the waters, in the springs, snows and rivers supporting nature’s abundance within the land through love, peace and prayer.

We hope that your elders can consider sharing their wisdom and ceremonial ways so that we can incorporate your ways with our own to bring about the greatest healing ceremonies ever performed, together! How can we create a circle ceremony teaching and practicing together? Are the Aboriginal people willing to teach their sacred ways? These are many questions we are humbly asking of your elders. We hope that your elders and women, men and children will be interested in this proposed Medicine Wheel Ceremony for the healing of Mother Earth’s, soil, wind, fire and water.

The awareness of how the Aboriginal people serve as caretakers and stewards of the environment is very important. We will support the Aboriginal people in any way we can by considering the way you want to choose to share your message. But first we humbly ask, are the Aboriginal people willing to educate all those that will attend the ceremony? We feel that many cultures will stand up with us and honor the ways of nature, of our Indigenous Wisdoms. We feel that the time is now and this with this wisdom and good timing this knowledge we will heal many.

We have just heard that the government in Australia is putting forth a message to the Aboriginal people to apologize for the atrocities that you have suffered in the process of colonization by the British and others. We hope that this apology and the international awareness of your suffering will stir many hearts just as our hearts were moved by this message. Our hearts now beat with the rhythm of the drum, the heartbeat of Mother Earth in your honor to help in your healing.

As the First People, the Indigenous Nations please consider acting now. As the caretakers of Mother Earth, we have an important responsibility to our Mother and to all of her children. We have been the ones chosen by the ancestors to help—we are not here by coincidence; the people of all cultures are waiting. We are all a very special group of loving caring people that nurture all things peacefully with the love and respect for all of creation. We are the ones that have chosen to be here in these very special times. We are the ones we, and the world, have been waiting for.

We know that the planning of this proposed joint ceremony may move slowly. But we will do everything in our power to accommodate and assist you if you choose to join this Earth healing ceremony.
