That's alright. We're going to take it all back and set it free from your destructive reptillian nature. The Earth will shake you off like a dog shaking off fleas. You will change or the Earth will do it for you. You will become one with all people or you will perish.
You don't have long to decide.

Yeah, yeah, we keep hearing that.

And yet here we remain.

How can this be?

Ah yes... the APOLOGY. Makes everything right...doesn't it. Empty words don't mean much.
 Quoting: NightWisp

actually, if an oppressors ancestor can find the appropriate need to attune themselves accordingly to the collective field and actually take accountability for the atrocities in question....then the words or tones are anything but empty and they mean everything.

it is the ideal behind the day of atonement.

don't even think it hasn't been done.....it just can't be done for you.....ya dig?

quite frankly.....it's life in general that needs to be apologized ...and in order for it to be accepted, the apologizer must understand how and why the atrocity took place at all.

an apology's integrity is proportional to the apologizers ability to not allow the event to re-occur.

One simple word "sorry" doesn't do a damn thing for nobody.

If you speak of a government doing it then by all means, continue. And while you are at it tell the US government to apologize to the entire world for their deceitful way of doing things.

ALL people alive today had nothing to do with what happened over 200 years ago, whether they be my ancestors or yours.

Stop fighting with spirits. Those spirits have all moved on, it is only you and people like you that keep these dead spirits alive in their minds.

YOU ARE the one that needs to let it go, you know this is a truth spoken aloud, so maybe you should listen.

You are fighting dead spirits my friend!

SORRY...

AUSTRALIAN APOLOGY TO THE ABORIGINAL POPULATION

We apologise for giving you doctors and free medical care, which allows you to survive and multiply so that you can demand apologies.

We apologise for helping you to read and teaching you the English language and thus we opened up to you the entire European civilisation, thought and enterprise.

We feel that we must apologise for building hundreds of homes for you, which you have vandalised and destroyed.

We apologise for giving you law and order which has helped prevent you from slaughtering one another and using the unfortunate for food purposes.

We apologise for developing large farms and properties, which today feed you people, where before, you had the benefits of living off the land and starving during droughts.

We apologise for providing you with warm clothing made of fabric to replace that animal skins you used before.

We apologise for building roads and railway tracks between cities and building cars so that you no longer have to walk over harsh terrain.

We apologise for paying off your vehicle when you fail to pay the installments

.

We apologise for giving you free travel anywhere, whenever.

We apologise for giving each and every member of your family $100.00 and free travel to attend an aboriginal funeral.

We apologise for not charging you rent on any lands when white people have to pay.

We apologise for giving you interest free loans.

We apologise for developing oil wells and minerals, including gold and diamonds which you never used and had no idea of their value.

We apologise for developing Ayers rock and Kakadu, and handing them over to you so that you get all the money.

We apologise for allowing taxpayers money paid towards daughters’ wedding ($8,000.00 each daughter)

We apologise for giving you $17 billion per year for your 250,000 people, which is $48,000.00 per aboriginal man, woman and child.

We apologise for working hard to pay taxes that finance your welfare, medical care, education, etc to the tune of $1.2 billion each year.

We apologise for you having to approach the aboriginal affairs department to verify the above figures. For the trouble you will have identifying the “uncle toms” in your own community who are getting richer and leaving some of you living in squalor and poverty.

We do apologise. We really do.

We humbly beg your forgiveness for all the above sins.

We are only too happy to take back all the above and return you to the paradise of the “outback”, whenever you are ready.

it isn't a point of returning something to one group that cannot be owned in the first place.

in truth the land belongs to all of life.

the point of an appropriate apology is to heal the human collective field.

it is an individual thing....a government can't do it for you.

in order for the apology to be appropriate the causes must be understood.....but now i am repeating what has already been posted.

I was suprised to see on a poll last night, that 70% of the population didn't agree with the decision to say sorry. Thank god for the other 30%!

The saying of sorry wont fix all of the problems occuring within their society, but it is a big step towards being able to finally sort things out.

And a small step towards all of the people of the planet getting along with all of the people of different cultures and creeds.

Haha... This is sad, I like to think of this situation like some guy coming to your house and taking over everything except a small room that you have to live in now, he steals all the food and equipment(resources) and hangs around in your home for years, claiming it to be his, then one day years late he comes to your small room and says "sorry, but your still not getting your house back!"

If Australia really gave a F*** they would give the country back!

When someone is angry it is hard to get over it and move on. When an apology is offered, and the anger released, then both parties are able to heal and change.

A few catholic priests apologising to the young boys they have sodomised over the years would also aid in their healing.

Sweeping things under the carpet, denial and sticking ones head in the sand doesn't solve a thing.
