What does it mean when a person who is just a friend sends a valentine greeting txt message ?

Depends what the message says...is it suggestive? or is it simple?

It means they wish you a happy valentines day and would probably like someone else to wish them the same. That is it, nothing more. They probably sent the same message out to everyone in their phonebook.

i agree, its so generic it does come across as a sympathy valentine greeting. the damm bitch! think i should reply in kind w/ a generic "happy valentine day back at you" greeting or just ignore it all together ?

the thing is i dont contact her (maybe once in a blue just to say hi thats all). Shes the one that txt message me the valentine greeting. My problem is i dont know how to respond. Should i ignore it or send her one also ?
